Carly stands by Sonny just like old times! Sonny Corinthos and Carly Spencer are two people whose relationship is unmatched. The bond shared between them has proven to serve as the foundation for strength in various life situations. When Carly is in trouble Sonny is there. And when Sonny needs support, his ex-wife is right by his side.
General Hospital recaps indicate that Port Charles mob boss and Carly’s unbreakable bond is as strong as ever. Despite being blindsided and expected to comply as Sonny’s alibi, Ms. Spencer won’t turn her back on him. Evidently, the mobster’s ex-wife is still willing to sacrifice herself and her freedom to keep Sonny’s crimes a secret.
According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, Carly continues to go along with the plan. However, Carly isn’t as ready and willing after all that’s happened post divorce. When all is said and done Carly stands by Sonny. But this time he plays by her rules.
Meanwhile, Kristina continues to struggle with the loss of Adela, aka Irene while Molly sits in her anger at her sister. GH rumors hint that Kristina may have even more to worry about if her dad gets away with murder. Will she be the next suspect in the shooting of Agebt John Jagger Cates?
So what will it be, folks? Will Nina and Carly quit while they’re still in one piece, or will it cost a lot more to “settle the score”?
At this point I can’t even remotely fathom how anyone is on Nina’s side. Don’t get me wrong because I think Nina is a crazy cool character, and Cynthia Watros is exceptionally talented. However, that doesn’t mean that I can’t see her problematic nature, faults, and flaws. In fact, Cynthia’s acting abilities is what makes me compare her to all the narcissists in my life. Simply put, Cynthia Watros plays it so well. How can anyone possibly hate on that? Now her character in the other hand, she’s fair game.
GH recaps recall Nina’s fierce reaction to Carly and Drew’s Crimson stunt. What’s the point of asking Carly if they’re finally even if she doesn’t plan on leaving well enough alone? It’s apparent that Nina has zero plans to leave things as they are with Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright). Obviously, Nina doesn’t care about playing fair when all she sees is red and Carly’s smirk every time she closes her eyes. If I didn’t know better, it surely looks like Carly and Drew ignite the evil spirits within Nina as they’ve been fighting to emerge. I’d I had to guess, I’d say that this feud is far from over.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Valentin makes Nina an offer. Evidently, the offer is so enticing that Nina contemplates her next move. GH turned give that Valentin’s offer would give Nina the upper hand over Drew and Carly’s son, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Will Nina take on a new role at ELQ?
Of all the things that Nina has done, I can’t even recall whether she’s gone down the blackmail road yet or not. That woman has manipulated and lied using many different tactics, so it’s unclear what she has and hasn’t done to get her way.
Over the last few years, the social climate surrounding some prominent Port Charles residents has changed. For one, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly’s divorce became the catalyst for the seemingly permanent changes that followed the ordeal. Whether or not you like the fact that Sonny and Carly are the main focus, indeed they are. So it only makes sense that their breakup would create a ripple effect of changes throughout their family and the community.
Blackmail Isn’t Beneath Her
But GH recaps recall that before their divorce, Sonny was presumed dead. Clearly, his life choices lead to a life of danger and risk, but Carly and his family were always by his side. That is until Nina found Sonny vulnerable, and without recollection of his wife and family.
In Nixon Falls, a broken man washed up, was found and taken to shelter. And we all know the rest! Nina’s selfish decision to keep Sonny all to herself adversely effected so many. Moreover, she did it all to get revenge on Sonny’s wife, who happens to be her grandson’s other grandmother. On top of all that, Nina deceived her own grandson’s grandfather when she lied to everyone.
How low can she go? Well, it looks like Nina’s secrets just keep piling on. Currently, she hides her involvement in Drew’s stay in Pentonville. That one selfish decision has harmed so many in the process, not just her intended target, Carly. Despite what Drew is going through, Nina has yet to come clean to Sonny or anyone else. Additionally, Sonny had to implement a setup for the FBI after Nina’s SEC tip peaked curiosity. The Corinthos Organization has been scrutinized for decades and Nina added fuel to the fire.
Nina Discovers Michael’s Plan Against Sonny
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Nina stops even lower. Back before Nina ever gamed an amnesiac, there was no “Mike,” and Sonny had a close relationship with his children. Then, Nina drove a wedge between Sonny and Michael (Chad Duell). Their relationship took a dive over Sonny’s feelings for Nina. Then, when arguments spiraled out of control, Michael turned on his father.
GH spoilers tease that Nina comes between Sonny and Michael again, just they slowly begin build back their relationship. In the wonderful world of Soap Opera Land, there’s no such thing as a well-kept secret. In fact, I’m convinced that statement doesn’t even hold up on the real world as secret always fine a way to come out. So if you think that there’s no evidence from Michael’s plans, you’re most likely mistaken.
Since Dex said he destroyed only incriminating evidence against Sonny, then we should assume all is good, right? Think again! GH rumors hint that there is another copy out there. It’s possible that Dex kept one for his own personal reasons, or someone could have gotten their hands on the original. The point is, anything is possible. Or Nina could find out about Michael’s plan on a complete different way. Still, GH spoilers tease that Nina blackmails Michael over Sonny and her findings.
