Michael Quartermaine?

The aftermath of the Corinthos family shake up has torn Michael away from the ones he loves. He has completely written Sonny off as his father, refuses to even call him Dad, he refers to his mother now as Carly, and his hatred fro Kiki and Morgan exude from every fiber of his being. He has already lashed out by sleeping with Rosalie, and Kiki caught them in the act. He is pushing everyone who loves him out of his life because he feels completely betrayed by their actions and lies.

As a result of this Corinthos family fall out, Michael Corinthos, the adoptive son of Michael Sonny Corinthos, is dead set on changing his name to reflect his biological roots. He now wants to legally be named Michael Quartermaine, after his biological father, AJ Quartermaine. After learning that Sonny shot AJ, and all of his family kept this secret from him, Michael wants nothing to do with his family… not even his name.

Do you think Michael will go through with it and change his name to Quartermaine? Will he regret his choice after all the smoke clears? Let us know if you think Michael should remain a Corinthos or if he is justified in changing his name to Quartermaine.

Olivia Pregnant? Will Lisa LoCicero’s Pregnancy Be Written Into the Script?

Hey fans! General Hospital Blog would like to share some exciting news regarding one of GH’s talented and beautiful actresses.

Congratulations are in order for General Hospital’s own Lisa LoCicero. The 44 year old actress was spotted at an event for a new film called ‘Outfest’ sporting the cutest of baby bump. Lisa and husband, Michael Patrick Jann are expecting their second child. Lisa and Michael have a 13 year old son named Lukas. The gender of the new baby is yet to be determined.

How will this effect Lisa’s GH character, Olivia Falconeri? Fans have been wondering whether her real life pregnancy will be written in to Olivia’s story line. If so, who would be the Daddy? Some say they hope Olivia is pregnant and that Ned is the father. Most fans shutter at the thought of Sonny Corinthos producing yet another offspring.

What do you all think? Let us know your thoughts on this news and how it should tie into General Hospital’s story line.

GH’s Kelly Thiebaud (Dr. Britt Westbourne) Jumping Ship! Find Out Where She is Headed

There have definitely been some major shake ups this year when it comes to General Hospital ins and outs. A few months back it seemed like the actors from General Hospital and the Young and the Restless were bouncing back and forth from each of those two daytime dramas. Y&R gained General Hospital’s Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio, Colin Atkinson), while General Hospital gained Y&R’s Billy Miller (Billy Abbott, Jason Morgan), Michelle Stafford (Phylllis Newman, Nina Clay), and Maura West (Diane Jenkins, Ava Jerome), and more.

In more recent casting news, it has been confirmed that General Hospital’s Kelly Thiebaud (Dr. Britt Westbourne, aka The Britch) has been bumped from her contract with General Hospital to a recurring status. The newest piece of information that has caught wind by the soap opera social media is that Kelly Thiebaud is on her way to The Bold and the Beautiful. In a report from Soaps in Depth, there has been a General Hospital rumor floating around that B&B has made Kelly Thiebaud an offer she just cannot turn down. It has been rumored that Kelly will be joining the cast of The Bold and the Beautiful as Steffy Forrester.

A source at CBS denies this claim, leaving this rumor just as it is, a rumor. However, looking back on Billy Miller and the Jason Morgan saga, there was a siginificant amount of back and forth, even to the point of denial that this character was joining GH.

What do you think about this rumor? Will Kelly Thiebaud land a spot on the CBS soap, The Bold and the Beautiful?

Betsy Franco Returns to General Hospital!

The newest word out on the street is that during Franco’s relapse into being a psycho freak, his adoptive mom will be back in the picture. Illegally adopted, Franco was raised by Elizabeth Frank, aka Karen Anderson and believe her to be his mother. He most recently discovered that he isn’t a Quartermaine, and that his parents are actually Scott Baldwin and Heather Webber. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree because Franco may be just as, if not more, crazy than Heather.

General Hospital rumors have be floating around that Betsy Franco will be returning to General Hospital to reprise her role as the woman who raised Franco… whether she is going by Elizabeth Frank, or Karen Anderson, we shall see which direction her return will take this character.

Jason Morgan: I’ll Be Home for Christmas

This year, there may just be a Christmas miracle. Although Jason is technically “home,” he doesn’t actually know it. He doesn’t know his place in this world, he doesn’t even know his own real name. What he does know right now, is that he has a true friend in Elizabeth Webber, and that he has an undeniable connection to Danny.

Brand new General Hospital spoilers insinuate that Jake will finally remember exactly who he is, who is son, is, who his wife is, and who is friends and family are. At this point is has not been confirmed, but there is a strong believe that Jake will be revealed as Jason the week of December 22nd. If General Hospital rumors regarding this are true, this would mean that Jason would be home for Christmas. Fans have been waiting for what seems like forever for a JaSam reunion, and it looks like we might get our Christmas miracle.

Share this post if you want Jason home with Sam and Danny for Christmas!

Roger Howarth Still On Contract with General Hospital

In the midst of learning that many of our favorite actors/characters have either dropped down to recurring, or are down right leaving the show, it is very easy to inform fans that is not the case with Roger. After today’s episode, many fans were worried that Howarth, along with Kelly Thiebaud (Dr. Britt Westbourne aka The Britch), John J. York (Mac Scorpio), and Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix DuBois), would also be making himself scarce and leaving General Hospital.

For the record, Roger Howarth is not leaving General Hospital in his role as Franco, he also has not dropped to recurring. He is still on contract with General Hospital, according to Executive Producer, Frank Valentini. Roger Howarth will be taping for his Prime Time role as Mason Bridge on the CW’s ‘The Flash’ during General Hospital’s hiatus. In a quote from Valentini regarding Roger’s new project, he states, “We are thrilled for Roger and this opportunity. Fans can rest assure he is not off the show, as the timing for this role worked out so that he can shoot during our current “GH” hiatus.”

Share this post if you are relieved that Roger Howarth will continue on GH in the role of the psychotic and disturbed, Franco.

Roger Howarth Leaving General Hospital?

General Hospital Blog has previously reported that General Hospital’s Roger Howarth (Franco) will be taking a new role on a TV show called ‘The Flash.’ He has landed a Prime Time recurring role on the CW and will be playing Mason Bridge.

Since his new role is recurring, that leaves is status with General Hospital uncertain. Many GH actors have been dropped down to recurring status as of late, and Roger Howarth just might be another one of them. There has not been confirmation on whether or not Roger Howarth will be leaving his role of Franco altogether, or if he will be taking some time off to be on set of the CW’s ‘The Flash.’

Sonny Corinthos FINALLY Goes Down for His Crimes… Who Will He Take Down with Him?

After about 21 years of loop holes, bad ass lawyers, and acquittals, Sonny has hit the end of the road. Mark it down in General Hospital history, that Michael Sonny Corinthos is finally going to Pentonville for his crimes. After admitting to shooting AJ Quartermaine to Carly, the confession was captured by a sneaky Franco who placed a camera in a necklace he gave to Carly as a gift. The video was exposed at what was supposed to be Franco and Carly’s wedding, but since he was less than forgiving after finding out that Carly was sleeping with Sonny behind his back, he decided that Carly, and everyone else should pay. He didn’t hesitate at the chance to expose Sonny’s crimes to his adoptive son, Michael, who has been searching for who murdered his biological father, AJ Quartermaine. All the while Carly knew it was Sonny.

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sonny isn’t the only one who is going to pay for the murder of AJ Quartermaine. Perhaps everyone who knew what Sonny had done will be dragged down with him. Carly, Kiki, Morgan, Shawn, and possibly Ava could all end up right where Sonny will be…in a prison cell.

Who do you think is going down right alongside Sonny? General Hospital rumors indicate that Sonny will run into Johnny Zacchara while in Pentonville. The story just keeps getting better and better! Share if you are excited to see how this unfolds.

Marc Anthony Samuel Off-Contract at General Hospital

It looks like we will be seeing less of yet another GH actor/character we love to see light up our screen.

Along with the news that Kelly Thiebaud (Dr. Britt Westbourne) is now on recurring status, along with long time GH vet, John J. York (Mac Scorpio aka Uncle Mac), it has been confirmed that Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix DuBois) will also be placed on recurring status with General Hospital.

As of now, these actors are not leaving General Hospital entirely, they just have not signed/renewed a contract with the soap. We will still be seeing them, they will just be involved in less of the story lines.

What do you think about all the sudden changes that have been going on with the actors’ contracts on General Hospital? Let us know your thoughts by leaving comments below.
