Nelle comforts Nina! Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is so close to her happy ending. She has her man, she’s found her daughter, and her daughter is going to live! Additionally, Willow is starting to come around, and that’s all Nina asks. One step at a time, Nina and Willow inch closer to a relationship.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Nina faces the music. Inevitably, her reign of lies and deception come to an end. After all of her victories and in all of her glory, Nina then finds herself alone. Eventually, everything she has stolen from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), and everything she’s lied to obtain is swept out from underneath her feet.
Aside from all she’s done to Carly, Nina is also the reason why Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is in Pentonville. He could be home with his family. But instead, he’s serving time. When Nina turned Carly and Drew in to the SEC, she set a series of unfortunate events in motion. One being that she compromised her fiancé after the Feds got wind of Carly and Drew’s crimes. Moreover, the blame fell on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth). Because of Nina, one thing led to another and now Olivia, Leo, Brook Lynn, and Tracy are stuck with Eddie Maine. So many have suffered at her hand, and now she’s about onto face the music.
Nina is Finally Exposed
According to GH spoilers and rumors, Nina loses everything she worked so hard climbing over people to get. When she’s exposed, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and everyone else turn their backs on Nina, leaving her with no one. No Sonny, no Willow, and all the loved ones tied to these connections. Since finding out that she missed her chance with Nelle, Nina had blamed Carly for every single thing that’s happened to her. Including her poor relationships with her two daughters. Nina can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to her long lost children. But will she have another chance with either Willow or Nelle?
GH rumors tease that Nelle comforts Nina when Willow and everyone else walks away. Is Nelle alive, or will she come to Nina again in a vision?
Laura reunites with Lulu and Nikolas! One mother will soon rest much easier as she regains what she’s lost. Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) has suffered a great deal over the last few years.
GH Recaps: First, Laura’s daughter fell victim to a bombing that was orchestrated by Laura’s brother Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Lulu wound up in a coma and has yet to awaken. Then, Laura struggled to find peace within her family as Nikolas and Spencer’s relationship deteriorated. Furthermore, Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) torturous agenda loomed over Laura’s family like a dark cloud.
GH Recaps: Meanwhile, Laura and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) embarked on their mission to locate Nikolas. They’ve arrived at their destination and began their investigation. General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that obstacles are inevitable, but Laura and Valentin inch closer to finding her son.
Despite Mason Gatlin’s (Nathanyael Grey) hold on Nikolas, he isn’t the one calling the shots. If things go south and Valentin and Laura get caught, who discovers them? If not Mason, could Laura come face to face with the person in charge?
Back in Port Charles, Dante Falconeri took Lulu and Valentin’s daughter, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) to visit Lulu in the long term care facility. Then, they reminisced about the good times and wished for her return. The scene was completely devoted to Lulu’s recovery, which lead to GH rumors of her return.
GH news and spoilers indicate that Nikolas is bound to appear on canvas soon, details to follow. According to GH news, no recent updates have been added regarding Lulu, if Emme Rylan will reprise her role, if Lulu is recast, or if she’s set to return quite yet. Keep checking back for updates!
Lulu Spencer returns?! Lulu Spencer Falconeri’s tragedy has to be one of the most senseless storylines. So far, nothing has done of Lulu’s absence. Emme Rylan’s sudden GH exit caused hysteria among fans. The news came out if left field, even to the actress.
GH news reports confirm that Emme Rylan left General Hospital when her character, Lulu Spencer Falconeri was written out of the script. She left the show in December of 2020. Ever since, fans remain persistent in requesting her return. The actress has expressed on several occasions that she did not choose to leave. Previously, Rylan took to Instagram to address a GH return. You can read her statement HERE.
Recently, GH spoilers reveal that Lulu was name dropped in a pretty big way. The entire scene was devoted to Lulu’s recovery as her ex-husband and daughter kept hope alive. General Hospital recaps recall Friday’s July 27th episode. In the scenes with Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez ) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna), they sat by Lulu’s bedside, reminiscing and daydreaming. Charlotte made it clear that she misses her mother and wants her home. As expected, Dante agreed. So, what if Lulu wakes up? Where will that leave Dante and Sam (Kelly Monaco)?
Lulu became victim of a bombing that was perpetrated by her Uncle Cyrus (Jeff Kober), and ended up in a coma. Interestingly, since Lulu’s tragic accident and Rylan’s exit, nothing has come of that storyline. Until now, keeping Lulu alive but off-canvas served no purpose. However, GH rumors hint that when Lulu finally awakens (and she’ll definitely awaken at some point), Dante and Sam’s relationship face its biggest challenge.
GH news has yet to confirm or deny news on Emme’s status. We will keep fans updated on the latest developments!
Carly takes back ALL Nina stole from her over the last few years! The drama between Sonny’s ex/wife and his current fiancé won’t end until only one leading lady is left standing. Are you ready for an epic battle? Winner takes ALL!
What was once right in Port Charles had been wrong since the day Sonny disappeared. General Hospital recaps recall, everything changed for the Corinthos family the night Sonny fell off that bridge. Thankfully, his fate wasn’t as dire as poor Julian Jerome (William deVry). Sonny may have escaped death but landed in a living Hell. He lost his wife, the one person who truly understands him and his business.
Nina took everything from Carly, and now it’s time to right some wrongs. General Hospital spoilers tease that Carly and Nina’s ongoing vendetta against each other takes a turn as their epic battle lives on. Meanwhile, Nina’s breakthrough with Willow was enough to send her straight to Carly to tell her the news.
GH rumors hint that the tables turn on Nina as her secrets are exposed and Carly regains her power. According to GH spoilers and rumors, Carly takes back ALL Nina stole from her as the stars start to align again. And when she says all, she means ALL. Is it time for Sonny to return home?
Sonny protects Ava and keeps secrets from Nina! …When dating Sonny Corinthos, one must accept having close contact with his exes, mainly the mothers of his children. In Nina’s case, she despises one of Sonny’s exes (Carly), was an enemy to and now befriended another (Ava), and maintains a professional relationship with another (Olivia).
Only in soap world would someone kidnap a child, later to become the biological mother’s bestie and the father’s fiancé! Not to mention, the only reason she’s with this man is because she took advantage of his tragic accident. She used his amnesia to her benefit, kept him from his family, and built their romance on lies. Somehow, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has pulled off the impossible. She managed to hold onto the man she betrayed, and is still bffs with Ava after kidnapping their daughter.
General Hospital previews indicate a sizzling hot last half of Summer. As mob drama becomes increasingly prevalent, Nina feels more out of place in Sonny’s life than ever before. As it becomes more dangerous for Ava and Avery, Sonny takes charge and assures Ava that he’s got this covered. GH spoilers tease that Sonny protects Ava and tells Nina lies in his upcoming fight against the enemy. So much for no secrets.
Ava turns on Austin! Ava Jerome (Maura West) isn’t one to be pushed around. That’s why it’s a struggle to believe she’d let Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) corner her. Especially when it comes to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). I kind of always knew she wouldn’t follow through with helping kill the father of her child.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava turns on Austin. Now that she came clean to Sonny, what’s stopping Ava from completely switching sides? Despite her newfound connection to Austin, Ava’s number one priority is her daughter, Avery Corinthos. Understandably, that makes Sonny a priority. Never in a million years would she have any Sonny dead after how far they’ve come. Besides , she knows how resourceful he is. Additionally, Ava admitted to Sonny that she’s worried about her mother, Delia (Ilene Kristen). Will he help protect her?
According to GH spoilers and previews, Sonny takes control. It’s time to take charge and that exactly what he does. Sonny Corinthos is back and Ava welcomes him back into the mob! I’m sure Nina’s going to be really happy with that!
…If anyone walked up to Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and struck up a conversation they’d probably get an earful about baby Ace. Motherhood and her new job at The Invader pretty much make up Esme’s current identity. Hopefully, everything about her past are long lost memories.
The point is that Esme is a different person now than she was before her jump from the Wyndemere parapet. No one would know how dark her past really is. Not even Esme. Currently, Esme’s doing all she can to live a normal life despite the crimes she’s been told she’s committed. But what if there’s something in Esme’s past that’s so dark, that if she allowed herself to remember, she’d never be the same.
Meanwhile, Heather Webber (Alley Mills) pops back on canvas. GH rumors hint that Heather rattles some cages as her daughter tries to keep her focus through the Cassadine chaos. Recently, Esme had an issue with Alexis publishing a story about her past, which could open the door to a much bigger picture.
According to the latest GH spoilers and rumors, Heather drops a bombshell on Esme. Does Heather know what Esme is so desperate to keep suppressed?
Molly’s fertility crisis has been building up for some time. As the storyline develops, Molly’s permanent recast steps in.
Lately the Davis girls have been going through it. Each one of them deals with personal issues in their own way. Most importantly, Sam, Kristina, and Molly can always confide in their mom, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Molly’s current storyline is front and center despite recent cast changes.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Haley Pullos is OUT. Sources say she was let go by the iconic soap opera after a start this Spring. You can catch up here with GH RECAPS. First, Holiday Mia Kriegel stepped in. She wasn’t on long enough for fans to warm up to her before GH recast Molly Lansing Davis again. Shortly after Kriegel’s debut, she was unexpectedly recast. This move confused fans as Molly’s storyline happens to be a focal point.
According to GH news and spoilers, Brooke Anne Smith is now the second recast to play Molly since Haley’s arrest. Brooke Anne Smith’s debut caused a stir among fans, resulting in online discussions and backlash. Fans comments fixated on the actress’s age. That being said, some are critical of a 39 year old who plays an early 20-something’s role. However, it’s a well-known fact that actors are cast in roles of all ages, all the time.
Meanwhile, while fans express their opinions, Brooke Anne Smith’s brother jumps to he defense. Scott Smith posted on Facebook regarding his sister’s newfound real life and reel life drama. GH news and spoilers suggest that Haley Pullos was let go and Smith is set to replace her for the foreseeable future.
…By now most of the General Hospital audience is aware of the film industry’s current state of affairs. Since May, the WGA has been on strike. Contract negotiations between the WGA and the AMPTP (Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producer) are at a standstill. As a result, the GH writing team strikes along with the entire WGA.
Basically, writers aren’t writing without an updated agreement with the AMPTP. It’s as simple as that. Additionally, the arts stick together as the actors support their writing team.
What does this mean for General Hospital, the writers, the actors, and even the fans? Well, the actors film scenes like rapid fire, knocking out multiple scenes/episodes. Early call times and late night dismissals are typical of a soap opera actor. Because of this, there’s an estimated 6 weeks or so of episodes filmed ahead of time. Previous GH spoilers and news reports confirmed that the strike began on May 2nd. During this time, the episodes were still written by GH’s official team. However, they’ve now run out of episodes, and the strike has not been settled.
Due to the ongoing negotiations, General Hospital news and spoilers reveal the GH writing team’s last aired episode. Last week, GH writer, Shannon Peace took to Instagram to make an announcement. Peace revealed that Thursday’s episode was the writing teams last until things are resolved.
GH’s Temporary Writing Team Steps In
According to General Hospital spoilers, there’s about to be some changes in Port Charles. GH writer Shannon Peace made a statement regarding the on-going negotiations and shed some light on the situation. She explained, “My episode that aired Thursday, July 20 was my final until the strike is over. Starting Tuesday, the writing team of GH will be watching alongside fans to see what happens… for the sake of the fans, I hope the show is in capable writing hands. But I have to also acknowledge the pain of knowing that characters we’ve developed, relationships we built and stories we planned are being handled by others. Still, my hope is that if you love GH, you’ll continue to watch. You can morally support the writers AND keep the show the air!”
In addition, Peace penned thoughtful insight and harsh reality regarding the situation. She added, “Daytime writers face a unique conflict during strikes. We hate to see our characters and storylines handed over to ‘writers’ who cross the picket line. But we are also keenly aware that stopping production could spell the demise of the soap operas. Hoping that the AMPTP does the right thing soon, not just for writers, but for the integrity of the storytelling.”
Episodes written by replacement writers begin on Tuesday, July 25th. Peace admits that these storylines may or may not follow the long story course that is provided by the Head Writers. Right now, the direction this is going is anyone’s guess.
We pray for these organizations to reach an understanding. So much is at stake as careers are in jeopardy. Moreover, these shows are so important to the fans. Please check back with General Hospital Blog for updates and developments regarding the WGA strike.
So much is happening in Trina’s life at the moment. How much is too much? Will Trina and Spencer breakup as a result? The Ashford family is put to the test as they await any developments on Curtis’s condition. Relationships among them either prove their strength, or fall apart at the seams.
Around Port Charles, the Metro Court shooting is currently the city’s prime focus. The tragic incident shook Port Charles as one of its most beloved business owners fell victim to gunfire. Now, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) may never walk again.
Portia Sets Things In Motion
Meanwhile, Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) romantic life isn’t in the best shape either. It’s never been easy for these two. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina have been playing a twisted game of cat and mouse where neither intentionally run away. Instead, it’s not deliberate, but driven by outside factors. As GH recaps recall, despite forces that try to tear them apart, these two kept fighting. But now they face another family catastrophe, and it’s becoming too much. Additionally, Trina deals with the discomfort of knowing Spencer spends quality time with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) and Baby Ace (Jay and Joey Clay).
General Hospital spoilers suggest that Portia doesn’t have to work much harder on Spencer and Esme. She’s already interfered just enough to awaken Trina to the situation. Luckily, Trina feels the weight of the relationship all on her own. What Portia set in motion is now about to unravel. Understandably, Esme is a trigger for Trina. She has caused Trina so much trauma, and remains a sensitive topic. That being said, Portia’s actions are even more troubling. She consciously set the stage for her daughter to become triggered by the woman who did so much harm in the recent past.
GH rumors hint that Esme comes between Ace’s brother and his girlfriend yet again. Will Trina and Spencer breakup for good?
