Walt Willey reveals when Jackson Montgomery airs on GH! General Hospital is the last daytime drama left standing on ABC. The network’s other soap operas eventually got cancelled, but other than our 60 year old GH, All My Children and One Life to Live, were the last to go.
Commonly, when an actor’s role from other daytime drama ends, we can see familiar faces pop up to other soaps. It happened often enough, however, it’s not too often that the actor plays the same role. Previously, General Hospital news reports confirmed that All My Children star Walt Willey is set to join ABC’s last running soap opera.

Nina gets caught! But the question remains, by whom?! Clearly, this photo from today’s GH previews shows Ned (Wally Kurth) creeping up on Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). This wouldn’t be the first time that he overheard her share some top secret information- both ultimately effecting Ned himself. So, is he going to sit around and let her get away with passing the blame?
General Hospital previews and spoilers indicated that Nina makes another confidential phone call out in the open. Just like before his slip and fall, Ned creeps up and overhears Nina talking about the sensitive situation. But this time she might get away with it since Ned is a bit confused.
Nina gets caught! Is Ned faking??
According to GH spoilers and rumors, it’s anybody’s guess on whether or not Ned is faking. GH spoilers indicate that soon enough Nina gets caught. From the looks of things, it certainly seems like the man who is watching and listening is indeed Ned. However, it isn’t his looks that will determine his identity. In fact, Ned Ashton and Eddie Maine look exactly the same. That’s because their physical selves are the same, but inside Ned’s mind lives Eddie. Lucky for Nina, Eddie doesn’t know a damn thing about what she’s done. Or at least he claims. On the other hand, who even knows of Ned is telling the truth?
Is Kathleen Gati leaving GH? …It seems like the good (or not so good) people of Port Charles can’t catch a break. It’s always one drama onto the next. At the hospital, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) remains in recovery after her bone marrow transplant. Thanks to her donor, Dr. Liesl Obrecht, Willow has a future.
GH recaps recall recent storylines involving Dr. Obrecht. Retrospectively, so much has happened in such a short amount of time. For a while, Liesl was front and center in multiple lead storylines. First, losing her daughter, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), hit the hardest. Then, she becomes a marrow donor, then is kidnapped before the surgery. The entire thing was a huge ordeal for Willow’s family.
Fast forward, and Dr. Obrecht hasn’t been seen since she donated her marrow to Willow. Due to her noticeable absence, GH fans question the star’s status with General Hospital. So, they took their inquiries to social media. According to General Hospital news and spoilers, GH fans asked if and when Liesl can be seen again. So, is Kathleen Gati leaving GH? Reportedly, Kathleen Gati weighed in on her GH status. However, there wasn’t much to tell as she revealed, “I have no idea if and when I will be back on canvas,” she admitted in response to a follower. “Life is full of surprises!”

Martin slips, Lucy knows Nina’s secret?! The circle of knowledge is growing. Currently, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) hasn’t a care in the world (at least that’s how she acted with Ava Jerome (Maura West). She’s breathing easier now that Ned thinks he’s Eddie Maine. Because, if he’s Eddie, then he doesn’t have any recollection of Ned’s life. That being said, it’s Nina’s lucky day.
But even nature limits the four leaf clover supply. According to General Hospital spoilers, Nina’s luck is running out. How many times is she going to escape getting caught up in her schemes? She’s dodged multiple bullets, with the initial being Sonny’s wrath. How did he not go ballistic after what she did to him? The world may never know.

Brook Lynn finds Ned missing?! The Quartermaine family is beside themselves with worry about Ned (Wally Kurth). Unexpectedly, the ELQ mogul tripped and took a spill at the Metro Court pool. The incident knocked him unconscious, but his wife, children, and mother are especially struggling with his current condition.

Today’s GH buzz surrounding Cameron Mathison leaving GH sparked after scenes from the Port Charles courtroom. Unfortunately, things didn’t go as expected. In a shocking bombshell, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was sentenced to two years in prison. This comes after he willingly took a plea deal to satisfy the SEC.
Previously, Mathison spilled some piping hot tea; the kind that gets fans all fired up and asking questions. In an interview, Cameron shared Drew’s fate in PC. He unexpectedly revealed drop a bombshell.
General Hospital fans immediately began to inquire about Mathison’s GH status. If two years in Pentonville is his fate, then is Cameron Mathison leaving GH? Molly’s symptoms raised concerns, so she took appropriate action. Sadly, her diagnosis has significantly reduced her chances of becoming a biological mother. However, all hope isn’t lost, and surrogacy is an option.

She arrived in Port Charles as Lois Cerullo in 1993. And in just four short years, Sofer’s role became iconic.
What a great time to reflect on iconic GH eras. The 1990s was such a great time in Port Charles. Aside from having been the time I first starting watching GH, the early 1990s was the beginning of making history. The Nurses Ball, the iconic island storyline, and HIV/AIDS Awareness, kicked off the early 90s. Additionally, Jason Quartermaine (Steve Burton) was still wearing argyle sweaters, and Brenda and Sonny were just getting started. Undeniably the 90s vibe in Port Charles was unforgettable.
Rena Sofer Brings Lois Cerullo Back To General Hospital
According to GH history, another unforgettable aspect of General Hospital in the 90s is Wally Kurth’s portrayal of Eddie Maine. As Ned Ashton’s rock star persona, he and Lois Cerullo became the hottest thing on the scene. Their love resulted in their daughter Brook Lynn.
GH spoilers and rumors tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) reaches out to her mom, Lois, in the wake of Ned’s identity crisis. Who knows Eddie Maine better than his ex-wife from Bensonhurst?!
Drew’s sentenced to Pentonville! …When we think of chivalry, to sacrifice one’s own freedom so that someone else doesn’t have to, is a perfect example. Lucky for Carly, she’s dating such a chivalrous man. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is an honorable man who takes accountability for his own actions. Additionally, he protects the ones he loves.
GH recaps recall Drew is dead set on taking the heat for both himself, and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). He seems to think they’ll go easy on him, and that he’ll serve about six months at Spring Ridge. At least that’s what But according to General Hospital spoilers, things don’t go as Drew hoped. Sadly, the cushy punishment he’s so willing to serve isn’t an option. Instead, he gets slapped with a reality check.
Thanks of Nina, Scout could miss out on more time with her father. Additionally, lives and relationships are torn apart after Nina’s impulsive decision. It was more important for Nina to get revenge on Sonny’s ex-wife, than to stop and think about how her actions would affect everyone else. Now, the time has come for Drew to learn his fate.
