Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) got more than she bargained for after finding out she had two half brothers who have been living very different lives.
Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) has had the misfortune of growing up with their brother, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), while missing out on getting to know his sister, Laura. It was too much to expect that these three siblings would have a happy little family when one of them lives a life of crime and violence.
General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Cyrus Renault’s return to Port Charles will play a role in many aspects of Laura’s life, starting with her grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
General Hospital recaps recall Cyrus confessing to a Laura that he has found a new path in life and is now a follower of God. He goes around reciting bible quotes and preaching to all who are near to listen. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Cyrus may not be bluffing when he says he’s a changed man. Cyrus has stepped up for his sister’s grandson, Spencer as he was about to face what life in Pentonville has to offer. But just because Cyrus is no longer preying on the innocent, but it doesn’t mean that his life of violence is behind him.
General Hospital rumors and spoilers suggest that Cyrus is putting a new label on his behavior, attempting to seek justice through making the bad guys pay the price.
Laura Spencer has dismissed her brother’s new way of life as just another game Cyrus is playing. When Laura learns how Cyrus helped Spencer out of a sticky situation, will she be able to trust that he had Spencer’s best interest? GH rumors and previews suggest Spencer isn’t out of the woods just yet, while more threats come his way as prisoner in Pentonville. Spencer needs protection. Will Laura appoint her brother Cyrus as the man for the job?
It’s getting to the point where it’s too obvious than not when trying to figure out whether Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) is truly a good guy, or too good to be true. We’ll go with the latter.
General Hospital spoilers reveal red flags from the PCPD rookie, pointing out that he’s just too nice, too agreeable, too understanding, and too helpful to NOT be a total psychopath. I mean, I definitely had an ex boyfriend like that! ???? …It’s true though, when someone seems too good to be true in the sense of their kind and generous ways, along with always being the bigger person, and (always) helping out those who don’t deserve it, jumping to kiss butt to authority figures, among more, are all that’s needed for a recipe for a psychopath. He’s got to be hiding something.
General Hospital recaps recall Rory assured Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) he will do what he can to keep him safe during his time in Pentonville, which was odd in itself since the two were battling over the same young woman’s heart. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) chose Rory, but deep down, Rory knows she truly wants and cares for Spencer.
General Hospital rumors suggest that the attack on Spencer was orchestrated by Rory, making it an inside job, and that much harder to stop. Grandma Laura Spencer would never suspect one of PCPD’s own, and Sonny’s criminal connections only go so far.
Spence Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is learning quickly that Pentonville is no walk in the park- or Spring Ridge. The last time the young Prince had to serve time, he was placed in a cushy, luxury facility, isolated from usual riff raft that comes along with going to jail.
General Hospital spoilers reveal this time around, Spencer is experiencing the darker side of things and it does matter who he knows, who his uncle is, or even his grandmother. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) can’t even protect when the attacks are instructed as an inside job.
GH previews and spoilers claim that the attack on Spencer came from someone working force enforcement, which would mean that no matter what type of power Laura has as Mayor, or Sonny has as well, being Sonny, someone on the inside has first access to Spencer while he’s locked up.
GH previews indicate that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) visits his young nephew and get a shock when he sees what’s been done to him. Will whoever did this have to answer to Victor?
Mayor Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) isn’t buying that her brother Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has found God.
As far as Laura is concerned he is still the troubled, dangerous man responsible for the incident which put her daughter Lulu Spencer Falconeri’s (Emme Rylan) in a coma.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Laura has another family member to worry about. Now that her grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) has been sentenced to 3 months in Pentonville, he will be that much closer to his great Uncle Cyrus.
General Hospital rumors suggest that Spence is in close quarters with Laura’s sinister brother, and his stay in the slammer won’t be as much if a cake walk as when he was in Springridge.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that Cyrus will rattle his sister’s grandson, causing Laura to spring into action. Will she go to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) for help in protecting Spencer?
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has been up to no good since the moment he popped back into existence. Luke Spencer’s (Tony Geary) mysterious “death” and luring Dr. Obrecht to a fake conference for Huntington’s disease are just a couple of ways he has proven his true Cassadine nature.
General Hospital recaps recall Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) making her way back to Port Charles to deliver the unbelievable news of Luke’s sudden death in a random cable car accident.
General Hospital news reports of cast members speaking out about such a story out of left field began creating speculations surrounding the validity of the news.
General Hospital news and spoilers revealed co-star Genie Francis has a strong take on whether or not this storyline was written as a legit way to permanently eliminate Luke’s character, or if it was setting the stage for something bigger.
Previous General Hospital spoilers shared by General Hospital Blog disclosed the thoughts of some major players. Genie Francis revealed, “I feel like they’re setting the stage, really, for a wonderful comeback.” Genie’s full statement, along with the thoughts of GH stars, Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio), and Jackie Zeman (Bobbie Spencer) on the topic of Luke’s death can be read HERE.
General Hospital news reports confirmed the return of Emma Samms as Holly Sutton after her storyline was cut short two years ago. Held captive, the last anyone saw of Holly was through a surveillance camera. GH rumors hint that upon Holly’s return will come another major comeback. GH rumors claim that Victor is behind Luke’s death which has most likely been staged, and the Luke and Holly are Victor’s prisoners.
Never underestimate the capabilities of a Cassadine, especially when going up against a Spencer. Both families show no mercy and will stop at nothing to one up on their arch rival.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has a few leading ladies in his life who play a major role in all aspects, including love, family, career, and more. Auntie Stella (Vernee Watson), Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), and even Selina Wu (Lydia Look), are prominent females shaping his life.
General Hospital recaps recall Curtis thinking of his future and who he wants to spend his life with, proposed to Dr. Portia Robinson on bended knee at the Metro Court pool.
Stella knows something they don’t know, and her secret could tear them apart. General Hospital spoilers and rumors suggest that Stella will eventually break the news that Curtis and Jordan’s divorce never made it to filing, making them legally married, as now Curtis will be unavailable to marry Portia.
The ladies in his life know Curtis well, what makes him tick, what sets him off, what makes him smile, and what he can’t deal with. General Hospital previews show Jordan confronting Portia with a warning, telling her not to make the same mistakes as she did in their marriage. Jordan is referring to lies. Lies are a deal breaker for Curtis, even when Jordan had an obligation to her career. Stella’s secret isn’t the only one with a dark cloud over Curtis and Portia’s future. Whatever Portia is hiding is sure to cause a rift, possibly ending their happily ever after.
Will Portia take Jordan’s advice and come clean with her secret before it’s too late? Is it already too late to tell Curtis she’s been lying about Trina’s paternity her entire life? It seems as though Curtis and Portia don’t stand a chance unless he completely changes his outlook on lies and betrayal.
Winner of the Outstanding Supporting Actor category at the 49th annual Daytime Emmy Awards, Jeff Kober, has opened duo about his role as Cyrus Renault, his ties to Mayor Laura Spencer Collins, and his own working dynamic alongside the legendary Genie Francis.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Jeff Kober has opened up about his portrayal of Port Charles villain and the being the black sheep brother of Laura. In a recent interview, Kober discussed his iconic scene where he hit the glass right before Laura’s eyes. According to Soap Hub, Jeff Kober explained that it was a decision he added in himself during rehearsal. Kober explains, “I added [it] in rehearsal,” Kober recalled. “I said, ‘I think I might want to hit the glass.’”
The Daytime Emmy wonder continued, “It was fake glass so it started to wobble,” Jeff Kober shares. “I had to act like I was hitting it hard but I still hit it harder than Genie may have expected.”
General Hospital spoilers reveal Jeff also touched in his dynamic with Genir as Theo work side by side as brother and sister. He describes her reaction to his acting methods and over all scene ethic. Kober said, “She goes with anything,” praising his co-star. “She rolls with it.” It’s hard to believe that cyrus has turned a new leaf and left his life of crime behind him. He’s clearly got something up his sleeve. Regarding Renault’s upcoming agenda, Kober states, “He’s got things that he wants from [Laura] but [they’re not] of a romantic nature,” Shared Kober. “That plays into [their interactions].”
General Hospital recaps revisit Kober’s return to General Hospital during the honorary episode of the soap opera’s 15,000th show. GH previews and spoilers indicate that the people of Port Charles, especially his sister, Laura, have not seen the last of Cyrus Renault.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) have been dancing around their feelings for years, and just as it seems they are about to move forward with their relationship, in comes a threat that could derail any type of progress between them.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Laura Collins (Genie Francis) worries about her friend Anna when it comes to her relationship with Valentin. Laura has her suspicions about Valentin’s Uncle Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and his influence on his nephew. Unfortunately Victor’s influence on Valentin will ultimately extend to Anna which raises concerns.
General Hospital previews indicate that Valentin and Victor will meet up for a little chat. Is Anna ready to take on everything that comes along with being romantically involved with Valentin Cassadine?

Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) curiosity about her father, Ryan Chamberlain‘s (Jon Lindstrom) psyche.
Esme questioned Ryan’s twin brother, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) about Ryan’s detachment to other human beings in what seemed to be of genuine concern; not only for Ryan, but for herself.
General Hospital spoilers reveal things get more difficult for Esme now that she has been barred from seeing Ryan, per Kevin’s orders. General Hospital suggest that the forced distance between Ryan and Esme will allow her to reflect on her concerns.
General Hospital news reports confirm Avery Kristen Pohl has signed a 3 year contract with the daytime drama, leaving over two years left of her role as Esme. GH rumors hint that Esme turns her back on Ryan as a way for the writers to redeem her character.
Recent GH spoilers and rumors hint that the current story is leading up to the reveal of Esme’s mother, and that being said, signs point to Felicia Jones.
It gets interesting where Esme’s biological parents are concerned. Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Felicia have been reflecting on their experience as parents and the fact that they do not share children together. General Hospital wild speculations claim Esme has nothing to worry about when it comes to inheriting Ryan’s psycho ways because some believe Mac and Felicia will turn out to be Esme’s biological parents! Will Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Uncle Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) uncover the shocking truth?
