Esme doesn’t trust Victor. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is like a little lost puppy out in the big world. After severe trauma, Esme suffers from amnesia. Typically those who suffer total memory loss would give anything to regain those precious memories. However, with Esmé, that is not the case.
In retrospect, Esme’s life prior to amnesia isn’t a life worth remembering. At least according her her anyways. Prior to losing her memory, Esme sulked about her lonely childhood. Having not been raised by her biological parents, Esme spent much of her childhood with her nanny, Maggie Fitzgerald. Thankfully, the new and improved Esme doesn’t never knew them then, and remember her biological parents either. In a way, the amnesia has given a young woman a clean slate and a fresh start. Now a loving mother, the days of Esme’s terrorizing ways are over.
Despite the fact that Esme doesn’t remember even her most recent past, she is able to instinctively sense certain feelings. When naming baby Ace, her intuition spoke to her. The love Esme has for her baby is strong enough to break through the amnesia. Additionally, danger and fear fill her senses whenever Esme encounters particular people. For instance, she sensed danger and fear around Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). As we know, her Spidey-senses were spot on. Talking about danger, the same goes for Victor. Esme doesn’t trust Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) further than she can throw him. Will Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) try to talk Esme out of her own instincts? Or, will she take Victor just as seriously?
Spencer, Esme, and Ace move in together! At this point, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) passed every test that was thrown their way. Unfortunately, Eileen isn’t getting much out of going to extremes. Working double duty for spies as well as Victor isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Actually, the Deputy Mayor is doing what she has to do to get what someone else wants. She won’t even walk away with so much as any type of “satisfaction.” She will walk away with only the possibility of not getting killed.
Now, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), Anna, and Felicia call the shots. Eileen is treading lightly as to not cross any of her “bosses.” The dream team spy crew uses the Deputy Mayor as an informant. And in doing so, the Deputy Mayor tries to pump Victor for information in the most obvious way.
According to recent General Hospital spoilers, Eileen’s night with Victor Cassanova Cassadine becomes extremely awkward. Essentially, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) is to blame for that. Well, she and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) of course.
Although it is Holly who asked Selina to carry out a favor, Selina is the one who poisons Victor. Using the vial received by Holly, Selina slipped it into his drink. Then later, Victor experiences the fruits (more like sour grapes) of their labor when he’s unable to “perform.” As a result, problems arise whenAshby faces Laura in a one woman ambush. Clearly, seduction isn’t the answer. So, how will the shady politician make it up to Laura?
Laura protects Ace from Kevin! The well-being of Esme Prince’s newborn son is in question. As his mother faces sentencing, the alleged father is nowhere to be found.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that because of Esme’s predicament, Laura becomes Ace’s legal guardian. The new mother puts her trust in the baby’s grandmother to care for Ace and keep him safe. Seemingly, choosing Laura to be Ace’s legal guardian is the most responsible decision Esme could make in this situation. But, unsuspecting danger turns a safe choice into the worst possible scenario.
Initially, the goal is so that Ace’s mother and family can rest easy knowing that he’s in good hands. As GH recaps recall, Esme got wind of Spencer’s intended custody request. Laura becomes Ace’s legal guardian!? As they say, babies will change your life. It’s no secret that welcoming a baby into the home requires a lifelong commitment. Essentially, raising a baby into adulthood is the toughest job around.

As baby Ace’s big half brother, Spencer figured he’d be granted custody over Ace’s unfit/absent parents. However, Esme wants nothing to do with her ex-boyfriend raising her child. Her hands are ties as she awaits judgement day. Legally, it looks like Esme is able to bring baby Ace to Spring Ridge upon her time of sentencing. But, incarceration isn’t really an a life event a baby should experience.
Laura Becomes Ace’s Legal Guardian
General Hospital spoilers reveal that with that in mind, Esme displays impressive parenting. The new mother is willing to do what’s best for her baby. Therefore, Esme asks Laura to become Ace’s legal guardian while she serves her sentence in Pentonville.
