General Hospital News: Kelly Monaco Announces New Project
Kelly Monaco Announces Podcast! Lately, my favorite General Hospital actress and character has been on my mind. Kelly Monaco landed on the General Hospital set in 2003, and the rest is history. Monaco brought the role of Samantha McCall to life, and what an incredible life she led.
Individually, Kelly Monaco’s contribution to the role of Sam had an enormous impact on the overall dynamic in Port Charles. She brought street smarts and savvy survival skills, and could run cons with the best of them. On her own, Sam was a stunning thrill seeker with a big heart. Additionally, not only did Monaco’s portrayal of Sam became one of General Hospital’s most beloved characters, put her romantic pairing became legendary. Steve Burton and Kelly Monaco gave Jason and Sam the most incredible romance with their screen, chemistry, intimacy and adventure. In fact, The pairing has been referred to as one of daytime television’s most favorite Super Couples.
Sadly, on October 1, 2024, General Hospital’ breaking news spread exoterically over the daytime drama’s fan base. It was then that Kelly Monaco’s General Hospital exit was announced and confirmed. Her last appearance as Sam aired on November 1, 2024. Soon after, Monaco’s online comments about her GH exit surfaced, revealing bad blood on the GH set.
According to General Hospital news, Kelly’s GH absence has brought forth a new project. Yesterday, she shared an Instagram video announcing her new podcast with friend and former playmate pal, Shanna Moakler. Bad Bunnies is described as, “Unfiltered. Untamed. Unapologetic.”
Sonny And Jason Take On Jagger! Over the years Jason and Sonny’s bond has developed into more than just best friends. Actually, they are like brothers and beyond. Despite Sonny’s doubts, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has never wavered when it comes to his loyalty to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). But it’s understandable why Sonny would question Jason’s three year absence. Needless to say, Jason had some explaining to do upon his Port Charles return. However, Sonny wasn’t having any of it until Jagger was exposed.
General Hospital recall that Sonny wasn’t too receptive to Jason’s homecoming. In fact, Sonny doubted his best friend when he couldn’t make sense of the situation. However, now that Sonny knows the truth, the dream team is back!
According to General Hospital spoilers and previews, mobsters Sonny Corinthos And Jason Morgan Take On Jagger. Agent Cates has a one track mind and Sonny Corinthos is the final destination. The latest GH spoilers indicate that these two besties work together again to defeat an enemy. They plot against a blast from their past but Jason has no memory of Agent Cates, aka Jagger from back in the day..
Will Jason and Sonny successfully outsmart Agent Cate’s plan?
Kelly Thiebaud returns to General Hospital as Britt Westbourne
It seems as though of many General Hospital fans aren’t over the death of Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud ). Kelly’s character left the canvas in such a way that makes it nearly impossible for return.
Although GH fans said goodbye to Kelly and the role as Dr. Britt “The Britch” Westbourne, hope for a miraculous return lives on. GH recaps recall that Britt died in her mother’s arms from complications from the hook wound. More often than not, Soap Opera death storylines play out in a way that leaves an open door for either a return or a recast.
Kelly Thiebaud returns to General Hospital as Britt Westbourne?
General Hospital news and spoilers report that Kelly Thiebaud recently shared a post to X (ex-Twitter), alluding to changes in the Emmy winner’s life. Last year Kelly revealed that she was loving to the UK. Because of this, Kelly’s time at GH had come to a heartbreaking end.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors reveal that Kelly’s post could be a hint toward what’s to come. Before Thiebaud left General Hospital her love interest was presumed dead after fallen debris seemingly crushed him. Port Charles mourned the death of Jason Morgan, and Britt was heartbroken. Then, dr. Westbourne’s untimely death shook the city of Port Charles.
Now that Jason has returned GH fans hope that Kelly Thiebaud makes her way back to someone resurrect Dr. Britt Westbourne. But how could they bring back Britt after she died in Liesl’s arms? General Hospital always signs away.
Kristina Corinthos may have finally found someone who she can settle down with. Sonny and Alexis’s daughter has recently matured and grown as a person. She’s more grounded and it could be in part because of her friend Blaze. But Kristina and Blaze are more than friends. Finally, Kristina admitted their status to her sister Molly.
General Hospital recaps highlight Kristina and Blaze’s relationship obstacle. The fact that Blaze (Jaqueline Grace Lopez), aka Allison Ramirez, hasn’t come out to her family poses an issue for Kristina Corinthos (Kate Mansi). So far Kristina respects Allison’s timeline and agree to keep her secret for the time being as the work toward building a relationship.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors indicate that Blaze’s personal life will soon become a focal point with Kristina, Blaze, Molly (Kristen Vaganos), and TJ (Tajh Bellow). Molly and Kristina have already discussed the strain that Blaze’s secret puts on Kristina, but she insists that she’s going to see how things go. Will Kristina and Blaze overcome this obstacle?

do not miss a moment of this weeks emotional General Hospital.
Oh no! Now Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is upset with his grandmother, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis). I swear, this poor woman doesn’t catch a break! As they say, no good deed goes unpunished. When Laura isn’t being written the riot act for simply doing her best for others, she faces other challenges and suffers great loss.
Enough is enough. Spencer Cassadine has hit his grandmother’s limit when it comes to his incessant ridiculing of anyone and anything involving baby Ace. According to General Hospital spoilers, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) can’t wait to shout from the mountaintops! She’s got something to get off of her chest so she spills the tea. Apparently, Miss Independent Esme shares the good news about her future. After her talk with Laura, Esme’s ecstatic from the idea of taking hold of her own life. Moreover, she has Laura’s support this time around.
GH spoilers and rumors tease that Spencer and Laura clash over Esme after he finds out about Esme’s plans. Although Ace is Spencer’s brother (for now), he has taken on the father figure role in Nikolas’s absence. Some fans think he’s taken things too far. And I must admit that I am one of them. However, everything happened for a reason and GH rumors claim there’s a reason Spencer feels so attached to Ace. Yes, they are “brothers,” but rumor has it that it’s more than that.
Obviously, Spencer is upset because he doesn’t want Esme and Ace to move out. As much as he says it’s because of Ace, how much of his feelings include Esme? Maybe more than we think.
The recent and most tragic death of General Hospital star, Tyler Christopher, has sparked a surge of love and support from family, friends, and fans.
In the wake of learning of Tyler’s passing, many of Tyler’s former co-stars have displayed their love and condolences on social media. It’s obvious that Tyler was a bright light as photos shared in memorandum display his aura. Reportedly, friend and former co-star Maurice Benard broke the news via Instagram. Then, along came the flood of reactions shared across social media. Friends and colleagues rushed to their accounts to share their photos and memories of their time with Tyler.
One post that particularly caught our eye was a post shared by General Hospital’s Drew Cheetwood. Drew is know for playing Max Giambetti, of Sonny’s guards, Max and Milo (Derk Cheetwood). General Hospital spoilers reveal that Tyler’s co-stars Drew and Derk are not only friends, but also family. But wait, there’s more. And as if having been part of the General Hospital family wasn’t impressive enough, Tyler, Drew, and Derk are biologically related! Yes, brothers Drew and Derk are Tyler’s cousins! That said, it’s only imaginable that his cousin’s social media post would have such a profound message.
According to General Hospital news, Drew Cheetwood addressed Tyler’s death and the life and time they shared together. Those times were spent together as co-stars, friends, GH family, and as cousins.
Below you’ll find photos of Tyler, Drew, and Derk as the still images tell a small part of Tyler Christopher’s story. The caption is makes me quite emotional, so prepare for some waterworks when you read.
Mason Gatlin Holt (Nathanyael Grey) is the kind of guy who can send shivers down your spine. Not the kind that you get when someone sings a powerful song with the voice of an Angel. Instead, it’s the kind you get when your intuition serves as a warning. Finally, TJ Ashford pinpoints the source of his eery sensation during his encounter with a disgruntled Mason.
What Happened to TJ?
General Hospital recaps recall hints of TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) suspicions. Any time that TJ saw Mason lurking, it was written all over his face. TJ knew that he knew Mason from somewhere, but couldn’t pinpoint the exactly where. But after Mason’s outburst, TJ realized just who he was dealing with. Then, the brave young doctor confronted his captor right there in a GH hospital room. And unbeknownst to both of them, their last encounter was their last.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Mason’s death triggers TJ in a way that kickstarts his healing process. But first, he must confront his trauma head on. GH rumors tease that memories of captivity resurface as a result of TJ’s experiences with Mason. After the dust settles, TJ’s healing process begins.
According to the latest GH rumors, TJ’s suppressed trauma emerges to the forefront of his mind. Now he has no choice but to face what the scarring flashbacks. Back in 2020, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) had TJ kidnapped and held captive. His history with TJ’s mother was motive enough to make the (then aspiring) doctor a target. See, Jordan and Cyrus go way back to when her job as law enforcement got in the way of Cyrus’s life of crime. Revenge was the name of his game. But now, he calls is vigilance. Regardless of the song and dance that Renault’s performing now, the end result remains the same. Cyrus is ready and willing to threaten, harm, and even kill anyone who has crosses him.
Is TJ about to relive his nightmare? What really happened to him back in 2020?
Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) misses her son and went to great lengths to find him. Risking her life, Laura and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) set out on a journey to find her son. So, where is Nikolas Cassadine? Or a better question is, “Who is Nikolas Cassadine?”
Nikolas Cassadine is arguably one of the most popular characters on ABC’s General Hospital. His family lineage includes decades of eccentric, powerful people, who are also known for their dangerous schemes and power moves. That said, General Hospital fans everywhere undoubtedly know exactly who Nikolas Cassadine is. After all, he’s Spoon Island and Port Charles’s Dark Prince.
For years, Tyler Christopher was the only name and face that came to mind when fans think of GH’s Nikolas Cassadine. However, as years passed and Tyler and GH went their separate ways, other stepped into the role. Ultimately, the second to become the face associated with the Dark Prince is actor Marcus Coloma. From 2019-2023, Coloma too was Nikolas Cassadine through and through. Despite the incredible shoes to be filled, Marcus impressed fans and warmed into our hearts.
His sudden General Hospital exit came as a shock to fans as Coloma had become such a fan favorite. Then, GH news repoets confirmed that Adam Huss would step in for Coloma’s last scenes. According to GH news recaps, Coloma was unable to fulfill his obligation to the role due to Covid.
Is Marcus Coloma Ready To Return To General Hospital
The latest General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that Marcus recently addressed a GH return. While Nikolas remains living as an expatriate in his attempt to remain mysteriously missing, he’s bound to return home soon. A recent fan event reveals that Marcus Coloma addressed a GH return. Fans were pleasantly surprised when Coloma revealed his future General Hospital plans. Undoubtedly, the current storyline surrounding Nikolas is peeks curiosity and fans ask the burning question. When addressing a potential GH return, Coloma left the door open. “If I felt like the fans were unanimously reaching for me to come back, then I would go back for the fans.”
The people of Port Charles, along with GH fans haven’t seen Nikolas Cassadine in months, other than a brief cameo played by Adam Huss. Ultimately, since we know that Marcus is willing to return to the role, are TPTB ready to welcome him back as Nikolas?
There’s no doubt that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has the goods! He is strapped with the proper ammunition to take Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) down for good. Finally, GH spoilers and previews indicate that Michael confronts Nina with what he knows. And now it’s all over for Nina. Or is it?
General Hospital fans are at the edge of their seats as this highly anticipated storyline begins its climax. We are at the height of the story involving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), his new bride Nina, his ex-wife Carly (Laura Wright) and her boyfriend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and of course, his son Michael. While other players have a role in this story, these people are mostly affected by Nina’s big secret.
Nina Reeves is now Mrs. Corinthos, and while she basks in the glory of landing Carly’s man, other people suffer from her selfish decisions. Nina doesn’t seem to care who she hurts as long as she gets what she wants in the end. To her, the means justify the end so long as she gets her revenge and her fantasy life. And that’s exactly that it is, a fantasy.
Michael Keeps Nina’s Secret
Meanwhile, Michael Corinthos couldn’t bear to wonder anymore. Petty jealously lead Nina to tip off the SEC, sending Drew to Pentonville. Additionally, Carly’s financial troubles and emotional distress have been the result of Nina’s actions. That’s why Michael couldn’t let his mom suffer the fallout from some snitch’s revenge tactics.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Michael drops the bomb on Nina and tells her that he knows that she snitched on Carly and Drew. So, it’ll all over over soon, right? Wrong. While GH previews indicate that Michael finally tells Nina that he knows her secret. but it won’t be the end of this. Instead, Michael makes a decision to protect Willow’s heart. He sees how she and Nina are starting to bond, and he doesn’t want to take that away from her. So, he actually blackmails his new stepmom.
According to the latest General Hospital rumors and spoilers, Michael keeps Nina’s secret for a price. Martin’s warning weighs on Michael’s mind, and his fear of Nina’s wrath keeps him from spilling the tea. Since Michael can’t bear to watch Willow get crushed by Nina yet again, he decides to tell Nina that her secret is safe with him, just as long as she abides by his rules. Basically, Michael has Nina cornered, and she must comply or else she’ll lose everything- including her sanity.
