Reportedly, Steve Burton left General Hospital in November of 2021. As past GH News reports recall, Burton was let go from the daytime drama upon violating the Covid vaccine mandate that was in place at the time.

Here we are a few years later and Steve Burton has returned to the set of General Hospital. Thankfully, General Hospital’s 60th anniversary celebration brought GH fans a miracle. That’s when ABC’s GH announced Steve Burton’s big return. Kelly Monaco, Laura Wright, and Steve Burton delivered the news in prime time.

Without a doubt, the announcement increased fan engagement significantly. In my honest opinion, Burton’s return could be the most anticipated comeback in all of Soap Opera history. Ever since January 4 announcement, GH fans have taken to social media to share ideas and theories about Jason’s big return. According to recent GH spoilers, Bradford Anderson and Steve Burton dropped some hints in their podcast, The Daily Drama.

Bradford asked his friend about Jason‘s wardrobe, in which Burton teasingly replied, “You don’t worry about that. you don’t worry about the color palette the color palette gonna stay the same buddy, just do you know.”

Steve’s return has stirred up many GH rumors regarding Jason’s return. And Steve’s recent comment leads to a major hint. If Jason‘s wardrobe color palette stays the same, does that mean he returns as Jason Morgan through and through?

Meaning, a vast majority of fans believe that Jason’s return will go down a certain way. But Steve makes it clear that the way fans think it will play out isn’t how it actually unfolds.

Unfortunately for Willow, Nina isn’t just her step-mother-in-law. She’s also Willow’s biological mother. Not only did Nina let lie him, she deliberately hurt two people that Willow and Michael both care about. As for Sonny, he cares for Carly (Laura Wright) and respects Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Moreover, Michael kept his step-mother’s lie a secret from both and Willow. Although each betrayed him in different ways, Sonny is seemingly done with Nina. But his son is another story. The most recent General Hospital previews indicate that Michael asks Sonny for forgiveness, but it’s unclear whether or not he’s ready to take that trusting leap. Right now it’s hard for Sonny to trust anyone- let alone someone who has directly lied to him. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Gregory’s older son Finn (Michael Easton) is by his side when the grandfather of one needs medical attention. Lately, Gregory has been more open to accepting help from those closest to him. It’s understandable that he’d have some resistance as it’s hard to imagine having to go through what he endures. Once again, like the times before, Gregory needs help when he experiences a frightening symptom.

According to General Hospital spoilers and previews, Gregory suffers a medical emergency. Rest assured that Finn won’t take no for an answer in regard to seeking medical attention.

What does this mean for Gregory and the rest of the Chase family? His other son Chase, and his fiancé Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) have upcoming wedding plans. They plan to have Gregory part of their special day, but will his health allow it?

Evidently, General Hospital star Maurice Benard was swimming in the ocean when a shark approached him. Benard mentioned that he was wearing a Speedo (relevance in question. 😜) That’s when his co-star Evan Hofer (who plays Dex Heller) thought to grab a State of Mind. He said that he took off the shirt and tossed it out to Benard.

The Emmy winning actor is said to return to General Hospital as Spencer when filming has finished. That said, I truly don’t know why they made this storyline so sad. Perhaps to throw us all off? Avery Kristen Pohl joined the General Hospital cast and family back in 2021. As she approached her first year as Esme Prince, Pohl signed another contract. Before long word got out that she had signed a 3 year contract with the Soap Opera.

In the last few years Avery has made lasting friendships with her co-stars, specifically her on-screen nemesis Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). While it’s true that Esme and Trina aren’t even frenemies let alone friends on screen, Tabyana and Avery have a much different connection. In fact, they aren’t just co-workers or cast-mates, they’re also friends and neighbors in real life.

General Hospital News reports reveal Tabyana Ali speaks out on Avery Pohl’s exit. She addresses their true friendship, and mentions that they live actress from one another. “With Avery, it’s a little different because she lives right across the street from me and I talk to her all the time,” Ali explained. “But I was still like, ‘Dang, I’m not going to see you at work! But I will see you in the neighborhood!’ We talk and hang out frequently, but I hate that I’m not going to see her at work.”

Tabyana continued, “I’ll still call her every day but I am going to miss seeing her at work. The day that Avery left was a very tearful day. We all gave her hugs and flowers and gifts. It was a bittersweet thing.”

Well, GH Blog is right there with the cast when it comes to the tears. Esme is a super fun character and Avery plays every aspect of her immaculately. Her exit is definitely a huge disappointment. Although Esme is presumed dead, hope for her return is very much alive.
