General Hospital News And Spoilers: The Role Of Hayden Barnes Returns As Recast Takes Over

Rebecca Budig joined the cast of General Hospital in 2015 as Hayden Barnes. In 2017, Budig announce that the writers had cut her character from the show, to then return in 2019.

General Hospital comings and goings rumors have been hinting that Hayden Barnes will be coming back to Port Charles, after the recent and frequent name dropping where Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) are concerned.

General Hospital news and spoilers reveal the role of Hayden Barnes has likely been recast. According to a General Hospital insider leak, the role of Hayden Barnes has been rumored to be recast by soap vet and General Hospital familiar face, Marie Wilson. Marie was the last actress to play Dr. Karen Wexler, daughter of Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner). The role of karen Wexler was killed off of the GH spin-off, Port Charles.

There have not been any General Hospital news confirmations validating these recast rumors. General Hospital Blog will keep fans in the loop regarding and GH comings and goings, casting, and related news.

GH Spoilers: Michael Easton Returns! Will He Rush to Kiki’s Side?

KikishotEarlier this month, General Hospital spoilers revealed, and GH Executives confirmed the return of fan favorite actor, Michael Easton. However, although fans really love Silas Clay, father of Kiki Jerome, GH rumors have been swirling, claiming that Easton may not return as Silas CLay, but as another character.

In regard to the recent tragedy with Kiki, it’s highly possible that Easton will make his return debut during this story line. Kiki (Hayley Erin) was shot on Pier 54 as she was trying to get Morgan to come to his senses and leave the scene of an arms deal that was supposed to go down on his dad, Sonny’s territory.

What are your thoughts on Michael Easton’s return? Will he come back as Kiki’s dad Silas, and rush to her aid in her time of need? Or will he return as possibly his strange brother Stephen? He could be someone else entirely…

Steve Burton and Billy Miller Drama Continues

General Hospital and The Young and the Restless fans have been in a tizzy since seeing the recent articles circling, regarding Billy Miller (ex-Billy Abbott Y&R, currently Jason Morgan GH), and Steve Burton (ex-Jason Morgan GH, currently Dylan McAvoy Y&R).

General Hospital rumors spread like wild fire, but when Steve Burton and Billy Miller are involved, they spread like wild fire on speed. We use the term “rumors” heavily in this particular situation. It’s apparent that the topic of Jason Morgan and Billy Abbot is a sizzling and sensitive subject for General Hospital and Y&R fans… and it’s even more obvious that many fan sites and news pages tend to embellish the truth when it comes to what is actually going on with the actor swapping, feuding, and contract statuses involving these actors and their corresponding daytime dramas.

The latest rumor circulating social media claims that Billy Miller is leaving General Hospital and going back to Y&R to reprise his role as Billy Abbot. These rumors have even gone as far as claiming that Steve Burton will be leaving his role as Dylan McAvoy on Y&R, and returning to GH as Jason Morgan. Some sites even claim that this news has been CONFIRMED in their title, yet there is absolutely no source to back up these claims.

General Hospital Blog would like to set this huge rumor straight, hopefully being able to clear things up for fans once and for all. The RUMORS that Billy Miller is leaving GH is JUST a RUMOR. As for Steve Burton leaving Y&R to return to GH as Jason Morgan, that alleged confirmation is also falsified.

Billy Miller is still under contract with General Hospital, as is Steve Burton with The Young and the Restless. Please keep checking back with us to find out more about the never ending drama. Let us know what you think regarding this Billy Miller/Steve Burton frenzy, leave your comments below. Please do daytime fans a service, and share this article to clear the air and inform them that the claims regarding these two actors are false.

Which One of These 90’s Fan Favorites is Headed to Port Charles?

There have been a lot of fans asking about one particular character that has been a fan favorite since the 90s. Social media sites are flooded with fans assuming that the return of one of their favorite characters is now underway.

General Hospital in the 90s was one of the greatest times in the show’s history. There was Robin and Stone, Jason, AJ, Karen and Jagger, Sonny and Brenda, Lily, Miguel, and more. It was an exciting time for the youth because a lot of the main focus were on the high school aged teens like Brenda, Karen, Robin, Stone, and Jason.

So which fan favorite of the 90s is said to be making a comeback?

Now there hasn’t been any confirmation from ABC or the Executives over at General Hospital, but there has been a lot of talk that Vanessa Marcil will be headed back to Port Charles this Summer to reprise her role as the beautiful Brenda Barrett.

Fans are already speculating and romanticizing a story for their beloved Brenda. Many want her to claim her man (Sonny), while teaming up with Carly to take Ava down. Now wouldn’t that be interesting?! Carly and Brenda on the same side! Others want Jax to make a come back as well.  With all the talk of Fluke being Harlan Barrett, fans have also theorized that Brenda will make her comeback when the identity of Fluke is revealed. If you are ready for Brenda to return to Port Charles, comment below with your perfect scenario story line involving Brenda!

General Hospital Blog will keep fans updated on any confirmation of this news.

Bradford Anderson Returning to General Hospital Full Time?

Last week General Hospital brought back one of the fan’s most favorite characters, Damien Spinelli and his counterpart Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson). Good friend Carly really needed Spinelli’s help to solve the mystery that involved Ava, AJ, and Sonny. Spinelli’s tech support never falls short when his friends are in need.

Spinelli and Ellie left Port Charles to move to Portland Oregon to chase Ellie’s dream job, running her own lab. However, they didn’t move to Portland alone. Since Spinelli was granted custody of baby Georgie, his and Maxie’s baby girl, the three of them said goodbye to their loved ones in Port Charles and started a new life. The court had ordered that Maxie be reevaluated in 6 months, with the potential of getting custody of her daughter. Now that those 6 months are up, we may be seeing a lot more of Spinelli.

With the Maxie/Georgie custody story line in the works, Spinelli may just have to be front and center for again for a while. Not only does the story seem to be leading towards a Spinelli return, but the actor himself has divulged his thoughts on the idea. Ina  recent interview for Soaps in Depth, actor Bradford Anderson made it clear that we would want nothing more than for his character of 8 years Damien Spinelli, to return to the GH canvas. Bradford Anderson told Soaps in Depth about the arrangement that he has with the show, “I think [what just aired] was to establish Spinelli and Ellie in the reality of living in Portland and keeping us on the canvas [in some way]. I think that’s nice! When I left, they very clearly said there was an open door. So by establishing us where we are and having people still use Spinelli for things, that means they can call me any time.”

Fans have been giving positive feedback ever since Spinelli and Ellie were brought back to the screen last week. If you would like to see Bradford Anderson/Damien Spinelli return to General Hospital full time, please let us know by commenting below and sharing this post.

Is Bradford Anderson (Spinelli) Leaving General Hospital?

In a  recent General Hospital spoilers, it has been rumored that Spinelli decides to leave town with his girlfriend Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) and his baby girl. This doesn’t sit well with Maxie, as she will be far away from her daughter.

Does this mean both actors Bradford Anderson and Emily Wilson are OUT at General Hospital?

Remember Sean Donely?

If you have been a General Hospital fans since the 1980s and 1990s, you’ll definitely remember the name of the man who popped up on Holly’s computer screen yesterday. If you are sort of a newbie to GH, here is a little history lesson:

Sean Donnelly was best friends with Robert Scorpio. Together the two worked at the World Security Bureau and Sean was Robert’s boss. Sean and Robert were such good friends that Anna and Robert chose Sean has Robin’s God Father.

Sean had a personal mission to take down Cesar Faison, as Faison poisoned his wife Tiffany, leaving her in a comatose state. Sean then joined forces with Anna and Robert to take Faison down and get the cure Faison was holding for Tiffany.

Sean’s character left the show after being send away to Boston to recover from a  gunshot wound as a result of a shootout. At the time, Sean was police commissioner and his mission was to take down crime Lord, Frank Smith. After all was said and done, he and his pregnant wife Tiffany left together so he could recuperate. Sean and Tiffany haven’t been seen around Port Charles since.

Yesterday we got a little cameo from Sean on Holly’s computer. Are Sean and Tiffany on their way back to PC? Stay up to date on General Hospital to find out!

Ron Carlivati’s Message to Kelly Sullivan on Her Exit

Kelly Sullivan fans have been coming out of the woodwork expressing how much they will miss the actress that has been portraying the Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri split personality. In their expressions, they reveal gratitude and praise the actress for a job more than well done. There are campaigns circulating the internet to get the executives at GH to change their minds. For two days in a row now, Twitter users and devoted fans of Kelly Sullivan have been able to get their feelings about the situation trending using the hashtag #KeepKelly.

Someone we didn’t expect to comment on the situation directly sent out a tweet to @KellySullivanNY. It reads, “Thank you for your unforgettable portrayal of Kate/Connie on GH. Can’t wait 2 c what u do next xoxo Ron.”

Fans all believe that this was a HUGE mistake made by the executives and producers at General Hospital. We are still hopeful that their minds can be changed and that we can #KeepKelly on General Hospital as Connie Falconeri.
