…Have you ever asked yourself about how certain characters are still able to walk among the rest of even a fictional society? Television or not, we still empathize with others as we watch life throw them every curveball. And we are quick to anger at any character that puts our beloved favorites in harms way.
As we know, not everything is as it seems in Port Charles. Trust is hard to come by these days, while lies and betrayal hide within the hearts of even the softest souls. After all, isn’t that why some of us root for the bad guy? Because we see the soft side to them, i.e. Sonny Corinthos. Sometimes character villains are so sinister that the only direction the role is going is toward the exit, as in, written out of the script.
Over in Soap Opera lala land, both the fans and characters tend to love a good villain. It’s like falling in love with the bad boy. However, some characters just get under our skin or have committed such horrible acts that they are beyond redemption. Although, there isn’t much that a soap character can do that’ll close the door on starting anew.
Gladys Gives Selina Nina’s 50K
As for Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), that greedy woman already had her second chance. According to GH recaps, Sonny and Gladys had a heart to heart with his cousin Gladys. That’s when Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) death put things into perspective and Sonny was able to open his heart to a grieving mother. One who is family nonetheless.
General Hospital spoilers tease the walls are closing in on Gladys. She’s in too deep with a sinister doctor and a ruthless woman who just heard the word no from a presumed ally. Not to mention what Sonny is going to do when he finds out. Honestly, Dr. Montague and Selina Wu will be the least of her worries because Gladys is toast when Sonny gets wind of this. But for now, the creepy doc and the ruthless mob Queen are Gladys’s biggest worries.
GH spoilers indicate that now Gladys is $50,000 richer odds are the money won’t go to save Sasha. In fact, brand new General Hospital previews show Selina giving Gladys a very important message. It’s a life and death situation for Sasha, while Nina Reeves and Selina may have made things worse. GH rumors tease that Selina’s demands turn lethal while Nina’s mistake could be deadly.
Of course, Gladys is to blame for Sasha’s current situation. However, Nina should never have trusted Gladys. All she has to do with to with her (and the money), to make sure the story is straight. And I’m sure Gladys has every intention of delivering the money to the doctor in order to free Sasha. Sadly , GH rumors that she has a change of heart. Apparently, Selina’s phone call comes just the precise time that she second guesses what she’ll do with Nina’s money. If Dr. Montague doesn’t get his money, Sasha dies. And if Selina doesn’t get her money, Gladys dies. What will Gladys choose?
Blair is Martin’s ex-wife!?!? Incoming! From Llanview to Port Charles, a familiar face pops up into town! Throw a lawyer from Pine Valley in the mix and we have a full fledged ABC Soap Opera reunion! Ok, I’ll stop reminiscing now.
…Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) has some explaining to do. Now that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) confronted how about the alimony, she’s also come clean about snooping in Jackson Montgomery’s files. That’s when she admitted to snooping on Martin- but with good reason. Lucy wants answers, and if Martin won’t divulge, maybe ex-wife #3 will.
General Hospital news reports confirm that OLTL star Kassie DePaiva returns to GH this September. Meanwhile, another new yet familiar face has shown up recently. All My Children star and daytime tv icon, Walt Willey, joined General Hospital as his OG AMC role, Jackson Montgomery. The golden heartthrob gets all the boomer’s hearts ticking. In fact, Walt Willey (and Tom Jones) are my late mother’s absolute favorite celebrities. I remember her swooning over Walt every time Jackson popped up around 1 o’clock!
Overall, Willey and DePaiva’s return to the screen has OG soap fans smiling from ear to ear. Moreover, recent GH rumors tease that Blair Cramer’s arrival ties into Jackson’s as they both have unfinished business with Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight).
…Well, you know what they say, “timing is everything.” As if there could be an actual “bad” time for a loved one to wake up from a coma. Instead, let’s call it an inopportune time for this situation.
There’s no doubt that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) wants nothing more than for his ex-wife to come back to her family. Lulu (Emme Rylan) has been heavily on her daughter’s mind lately, as she prays for her mother to awaken. General Hospital recaps recall Dante and his stepdaughter Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlet Fernandez) recent visit to Lulu’s bedside. In addition, Lulu’s been on her mother Laura Spencer Collins’s (Genie Francis) mind a lot lately.
According to GH news and spoilers, in soap world, name dropping is a suspicious act that has a tendency to allude toward that certain character’s return. Luckily, it’s very rare that a character’s death or departure has an iron clad lock on the door. Sadly, we do end up losing some of our favorites from time to time. However, that’s not the case with Lulu.
After over three years of wondering if any thing and bring Lulu back, and the latest GH spoilers indicate the time is near. Reportedly, brand new, not-so-distant future GH spoilers indicate that Charlotte’s prayers are answered and Lulu wakes up. There’s no doubt that everyone will be so grateful for the miracle. However, Dante and Sam (Kelly Monaco) may feel that Lulu’a return to comes at an inopportune time. They’ve moved in together and living together with their children. At this point, Lulu’s recovery could mean the end for Dante and Sam. Moreover, will Maxie (Kirsten Storms) even get to move in before Lulu comes home? Or will this pose an issue for Maxie and her kids, or maybe even for Lulu?
…Oh the games people play. Lucy plays a game of her own to ruffle Martin’s feathers. Will it work? Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) hasn’t been completely honest with Lucy Co (Lynn Herring). That’s not saying that she’s been completely honest with him either. But we all know the saying, “two wrongs don’t make a right.” Quite frankly, I sense that these two are headed for disaster.
General Hospital recaps for Monday, August 29th recall Lucy and Martin’s argument. The fashion icon and cosmetics industry wants some answers. Right now she can’t wrap her head around why the man she loves wouldn’t give up money to marry her. Previously, GH spoilers revealed that Martin receives 50,000 from his third ex-wife. understandably bad news sent Lucy into a tailspin. So she can fronted Martin and things got a little heated.
According to General Hospital previews and spoilers, things become even rockier between Martin and Lucy when Jackson Montgomery unexpectedly arrives in Port Charles. Evidently, the Pine Valley attorney is no friend of Martin’s. Martin made that clear when Lucy mentioned his name. That’s when Martin muttered Montgomery’s (Walt Willey) name in sort of a breathy yet antagonistic tone. After that reaction, it sure seems like Martin doesn’t care too much for Mr. Montgomery.
That being said, GH spoilers tease that Lucy uses her feminine power to spark a reaction out of Martin. Martin sees Lucy and Jackson getting along a little too well, especially considering that he represents the plaintiff who is suing Lucy and Deception.
Maurice is done with Sonny having kids. Along with the infamous Corinthos moss bowl, Sonny Corinthos’s baby mama drama and child count are ongoing hot topics among GH fans. Truthfully, it’s become more like a joke at this point.
Presumably, with every lost and lonely soul that arrives in Port Charles, there’s about 500 General Hospital fans who assume the new character is another of Sonny’s long lost children. Ok, we aren’t totally serious. And to be honest, the number 500 just popped up out of nowhere. However, in all seriousness, GH news reports confirm that Maurice Benard has put to bed some ongoing GH rumors. Of course, those rumors surround his iconic character, Sonny Corinthos. Back in his earlier days as a mobster, money, power, respect, coffee, and women were what defined Sonny. Today, several of those women became mother’s to his many children.
Previously, GH spoilers and rumors made claims that Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is either Sonny’s or Jason Morgan’s son. His undivulged past and family life leaves open opportunity for a major story. Furthermore, More recently, GH rumors claim that first, Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) is Sonny’s daughter, and two, that she could be Dex’s twin. If true, Betty and Dex work together to get revenge on the sad they never know. Ok, maybe.
According to GH news and spoilers, Maurice gives fans something to ponder when he opens up about his role as Sonny. The latest GH spoilers reveal that Maurice admits that he’s done with Sonny having kids. In a statement to SOD, Benard expressed how he really feels about it. He explained, “That’s the cool thing; whoever thought of Sonny having so many kids- even though I’m done with Sonny having kids!… it’s been the smartest thing because that’s the reason he has to help her.”
Now, what we don’t know is if this statement reflects a certain before and after. Meaning, are his thoughts Sonny’s current number of kids, or does he take into account the rumored additions that may be written for the near future? Regardless, Maurice is so over it. Maurice is done with Sonny having kids. Period.
Martin stole The Deceptor?! …How will the Pine Valley turned Port Charles Attorney get himself out of this predicament?! There’s no way that Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) will be able to escape this mess. Sadly for him, not even the fact that he is a lawyer could convince Lucy to be okay with this. And to think that she kept gushing about his contribution to the birth of the Deceptor! Oh, the nerve!
General Hospital Recaps: Do you need to catch up on Lucy’s latest drama? Here’s a little refresher on what’s happening with Lucy, her man Martin, his ex-wife, and Deception Cosmetics. Evidently, she should have adhered to the age old saying, “never mix business with pleasure,” because now she learns her lesson. First, she let lines cross when she discussed her business with her boyfriend. That’s when Lucy took interest in Martin’s idea. Ultimately, she created The Deceptor based off of hers and Martin’s conversation. Apparently, Lucy’s latest pride and joy turns out to be one of her biggest mistakes. As it turns out, running with Martin’s idea lands Lucy and her 30 year old company in front of a Judge.
According to the latest GH spoilers, Lucy and Martin’s upcoming chat apparently gets so heated that a little splash of something is needed to cool it down. Talk about DECEPTION, but Martin Gray needs a round of applause for what he’s pulled off his far. Unfortunately, Lucy learns more about Martin’s secrets and the devastating truth she faces.
GH spoilers and previews tease that the plaintiff’s identity is revealed! Once Lucy learns that it’s Martin’s ex-wife that’s doing the suing, let’s just say that Ms. Coe might need one of her gummies.
Pikeman is two people! Mason and Austin have two bosses?! …Port Charles is on high alert as The Corinthos Organization prepares for the Pikeman shipment. For months, Pikeman’s identity has been kept secret, but now it’s the the truth is it. Did GH just hint at one half of Pikeman?
…Confusion cleared! Or so we think. Previously, attentive General Hospital fans picked up on a little clue. They noticed that Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) and Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) referred to their boss as a female. Then, when referred to another time, they said, “he.” The discrepancy left fans curious.
According to GH spoilers and rumors the answer is simple. Pikeman isn’t one person but in fact, two. A team, if you will. While GH rumors tease that Austin went straight to their boss which looks to be that it’s Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)! Now that explains when they referred to the boss as “he,” but what about before when they said that their boss was a female? Because of this puzzling piece of the story, GH fans had to think outside the box. Additionally, Mason went to a meeting as well. G$ rumors tease that Mason went to see Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot).
Maybe it’s truce because from the looks of things, Pikeman is two people! Maybe Tracy and Cyrus are really working together?
Gladys begs Dr. Montague to stop! …You can’t get something for nothing in this life. Apparently, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has to learn that the hard way because it seems she hasn’t gotten the memo. Additionally, she seems to think she can fall back on others to bail her out. This time, she’s in too deep!
General Hospital spoilers and previews reveal that Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) wants payment! How else did Gladys think she could get a doctor to carry out her unscrupulous plan? Now that Gladys sees the utter torture she’s inflicted on her daughter in law, she finally wants it to end. I guess Gladys has some shred of decency that was thought to be lost.
According to the latest GH spoilers, Gladys begs Dr. Montague to stop torturing her daughter in law. Evidently, she didn’t really how far Dr. Montague would go, or how much if a psychopath he really is! GH previews show that Gladys tries to stop him, but she must give him what he wants first. Now the question arises why is Dr. Montague doing this and what’s he get out of it? And will Gladys deliver, or will Sasha suffer further because of Gladys?
Sonny’s on Valentin’s tail! …The Port Charles mobster (Maurice Benard) is no dummy. He can sniff out a phony and reveal it as the snake that it is. Sonny has past experience with betrayal and dishonesty with others. This time, it’s Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) who should be looking over his shoulder!
General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny’s onto Valentin! (And so is Anna!). The fact that Valentin approached Sonny about the Pikeman situation is strange to begin with. Then, he admits to Anna his entanglements and freaks out when Sonny says he wants out of the deal?! Let’s just say that Valentin definitely seemed like he was in panic mode when he was talking to Sonny.
According to recent GH spoilers and rumors, Valentin’s connection to Pikeman is much deeper than he’s letting on. Sonny’s on Valentin’s tail and it’s only a matter of time before the Cassadine is exposed. Valentin is hiding something, and it’s bigger than Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) or Sonny could have ever anticipated. Luckily, Anna has her good friends Sonny and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) for support. She’s really going to need people in her corner when the sh!t hits the fan about Valentin.
