General Hospital: Daniel Goddard’s GH Exit Confirmed
Somtimes a little birdie tells us far in advance when a character is going to die. Likewise, that also goes for when an actor leaves the show. Then, there are other times when he audience has no indication of if and who is next to meet their daytime demise. Finally, sometimes GH fans have a hunch. We begin to speculate and suddenly General Hospital rumors run wild. This time, GH fans kind of saw Daniel Goddards’s GH exit coming in the past days. And sure enough, Professor Dalton is shot dead.

His time on GH was short lived, but his character’s death is a gateway to revealing more about Sidwell’s research, and how Britt is fomented toBe sure to check out Daniel’s project, dysko.ai, bringing like minded people together.
General Hospital: Cameron Mathison reacts after comments upset his daughter Laila
From Hallmark to Great American Family, General Hospital’s Cameron Mathison is known for his multitude of good-guy roles. Even the current character he plays started off as one of the good guys. Drew went from Nobleman Navy Seal to Cutthroat Congressman Cain. And don’t forget wife-stealing, home-wrecking Unc.
According to the latest General Hospital news, daytime tv actor and television host Cameron Mathison reacts after GH “fan” comments upset his daughter. The issue is that the here are some so-called General Hospital fans who struggle with the ability to differentiate between reality and fiction; actor vs. character. Mathison’s 19 year old daughter Laila stumbled upon some comments about her father, GH’s Drew Cain, and really didn’t appreciate some of the things that were being posted. The attacks on not only Drew, but Cameron as well struck a nerve with Laila. That’s when she FaceTimed her dad to discuss the disturbing things being said about her father on social media.
Sadly, some people can’t separate fiction from reality, and take out their feelings about a character onto the actors who plays them. As the age old explanation explains, if you hate the character, then the actor is doing their job! Drew Cain’s actions are out of Mathison’s control. So why become so disgruntled about a fictional character to the point of spreading nasty comments about the actor online?
GH Fans Insult Cameron Mathison Over Drew
While Drew Cain might be a vindictive and spiteful narcissist, the actor who plays him is not. In fact, GH cast-mates have chimed into the comments section to show their support for Mathison. Rory Gibson, GH’s Michael Corinthos commented, “The most kind, chill, generous guy on set,” about co-star Cameron Mathison. Additionally, Maurice Benard jumped to Mathison’s defense with his comment, “If you mess with Cameron, you’re gonna have to mess with me and I don’t think you wanna do that.”
The internet’s social media platforms have become today’s version of hate mail. Back in the day disgruntled fans would write into the show to express their dislike for certain characters, storylines, etc. Today, it’s much easier to hide behind the keyboard and spout whatever insults without thinking twice about how the comments affect others.
Mathison’s recent Instagram post reminds fans that their words impact real people. And not just the actors themselves, but family and loved ones as well.
General Hospital: Jordan Comes Between Portia and Curtis
Do you see it coming? Curtis Betrays Portia With Jordan?! …Mr. Honesty is an understatement if we are referring to the way Curtis Ashford perceived himself. He thinks he’s the creator of the word- and all else fall beneath him as Chairman of the Trust Club. Honestly, (no pun intended), Mr. High and Mighty is more like it.
This week on General Hospital, things heat up between Curtis and his ex-wife Jordan. As we all know, (because he makes it a point to tell the world over and over again), Curtis left Jordan because he couldn’t get passed the fact that she kept a work related secret from him. Despite knowing the nature of her job, Curtis still chose to take her omissions personally. Ultimately, he ended their marriage over trust issues.
General Hospital Recaps: Recently, Curtis admitted that he thinks he may have made the wrong decision; that he gave up in his marriage to Jordan prematurely. Uh, oh! Curtis is having regrets about leaving Jordan- while married to Portia! Their poolside conversation down memory lane sucked them into their own little world. Sadly, Portia was there to see it all go down right before her eyes.
Can they deny the obvious and inevitable? It seems as though Curtis and Jordan never really got over their feelings for each other. According to recent General Hospital spoilers, Curtis betrays Portia with Jordan.
What would Mr. Honesty have to say for himself if he ever cheated on Portia with Jordan? Hypocrisy at its finest.
General Hospital: Kelly Thiebaud Returns To General Hospital
Reportedly, Frank Valentini has confirmed that Kelly Thiebaud returns to General Hospital! Kelly’s character Dr. Westbourne died in her mother Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) arms after her very own birthday bash at The Savoy. In the land of soap operas, it’s perfectly normal to come back from the dead however, the way Bri died makes it a difficult death to resurrect.
Immediately following Jonathan Jackson’s GH exit news another General Hospital casting change was confirmed. According to recent General Hospital news reports the 62-year-old daytime drama is bringing Kelly Thiebaud back to the canvas. Executive Producer Frank Valentini confirmed the actress’s return and shared his enthusiasm for what’s ahead. “I am thrilled to have Kelly back on our show,” Frank Valentini revealed. “We have some great twists and turns planned for her character.”
according to General Hospital spoilers and rumors Kelly Thiebaud return may not equal Dr. Britt Westbourne’s return. Although the actress told Deadline, “It’s good to be home,” that doesn’t mean she will play the same role. If you really take a look at Frank’s statement, he does not mention Britt’s return. However, he does state that there will be a lot of twist and turns for her character- never specifying the character’s identity.
Upon leaving the latest GH news about Thiebaud’s return, fans wonder if The Britch is back or if Kelly will portray someone new. Keep checking in with General Hospital Blog for updates. Kelly is set to return to the screen this July.
General Hospital: Chad Duell Post General Hospital
What’s life like for Chad Duell Post General Hospital?General Hospital fans were caught off guard when Chad Duell and Frank Valentini announced and confirmed Duell’s GH exit. To say the news came as a shock is an understatement, and to many fans Chad is Michael Corinthos. After all Duell played Sonny Corinthos’s son for 15 years.
Well, the earth rotates and time ticks on. Not everyone stays in one place, and that’s where we’re at with the latest General Hospital casting news. Michael Corinthos was recast, and Rory Gibson debuted in the role on May 23rd, 2025. While GH fans seem to be warming up to Gibson quite nicely, many miss Chad and keep up with what he’s up to post General Hospital. Reportedly, Duell is stepping into the modeling profession and has shared some photos from a recent shoot.
According to the latest GH news, Chad keeps busy with Luana and their son Dawson. In addition to family life, the father and Emmy winner has added modeling to his schedule. Take a peek at the photos below. Duell shared these via Instagram and has credited John A. Sutton, and also mentions @wrangler and @stetsonusa.

General Hospital Spoilers: Will Jason agree to help Tracy?
Tracy Needs Jason’s Help! Tracy, Tracy, Tracy. What are we going to do with you? Recent months have shown a softer side to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). She’s always been known abrasive or even crude. Mostly, she’s downright offensive. But lately Tracy has even spent some time on self reflection. However, what’s ahead displays evident regression in Tracy Q’s recent soul searching. Now, the Quartermaine shrew needs a favor.
First, why is she so dead set on removing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) from Port Charles? After all, they are practically family. That wouldn’t be the case of Tracy could help it. She wants Sonny out of the way so badly that she’s willing to team up with Drew Cain and Jenz Sidwell! For starters Drew Kane just tried to exhume her dead parents. Secondly, Tempestuous Tracy is about to betray her granddaughter.
This Week On General Hospital- Tracy Needs Jason’s Help
Second, according to General Hospital previews and spoilers, Tracy needs Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). This situation is so convoluted that it makes my head spin. Ok, my first beef is that Tracy has the nerve to need Jason now that he’s convenient at her reach yet still, she tears him down and every chance that she gets. On top of that she’s working hard against Jason’s best friend and business partner and still expects him to help. We all know that it’s safe to say that Jason helps even if it’s Tracy who’s asking. Next, Tracy betrays Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) when she tells her secret to Jason.
General Hospital: Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Gio (Gio Mazza)
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Tracy asks Jason to find Brook Lynn’s son! She betrays her granddaughter‘s confidence, and tells another member of the family Brook Lynn’s secret. She needs a favor and asks Jason to go on a manhunt to find Brooklyn’s child. Unbeknownst to all, Brooklyn’s son is right under their noses.
Marco Brings Danger For Lucas! Carly Spencer has an army of people looking out for her best interest. When it comes to dating and relationships, it’s one adventure after another with Carly. Danger lurks at every corner and her white picket fences always come with thorns.
Lucas warned Carly that Jack’s lifestyle is too dangerous, and that he poses a major threat to her life. Carly’s romantic involvements always seem to come with a dark side. Just as Sonny’s mob business endanger Carly and his entire family, the WSM imperils Carly’s life.
Marco Brings Danger For Lucas
General Hospital recaps recall Lucas tried to talk some sense into his sister but Carly pushed back. She won’t listen to reason even after she almost died from polonium poisoning. Things are easier said than done for those in the outside of a relationship. It’s not that simple for Carly because feelings are involved.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Lucas’s advice hits home. Apparently, Lucas eats his words when he discovers that mysterious Marco isn’t the picture of safety. GH rumors hint that Marco leads a dangerous lifestyle, but Lucas can’t pull away. He won’t be able to resist the new relationship, and he knows exactly how Carly feels.
General Hospital: Marco (Andrian Anchondo) and Lucas (Van Hansis)
General Hospital: Tabyana Ali On Soap Opera Acting
Tabyana Ali as Trina Robinson. Ali passes along a message to fans and actors. Fast paced and “not for the faint of heart,” I’ve heard that Soap Opera acting is quite a challenge. Daytime dramas bring a special type of entertainment to its audience. While many television dramas captivate audiences, we can’t say that there are many shows that air Monday through Friday. General Hospital fans are lucky enough to be able to get their fix almost every day. But it’s that cliffhanger Friday that we really look forward to!
Reportedly, behind the scenes of a daytime soap opera is on another level. Actors such as Laura Wright, Steve Burton, Bradford Anderson, and others have described their work as very fast-paced, with long hours, and early and late call times. Despite the challenging nature of the work, some people buy into the stereotype.
The BeautifulTabyana Ali as Trina Robinson on General Hospital
General Hospital news and spoilers report that GH’s Trina Robinson, played by Tabyana Ali, is here to tell fans the truth about what it’s like on the set of a soap opera. The 23 year old actress shares her insight on the many wonders of working on a daytime drama as a full time actor.
Cyrus is a serial killer! Well, Cyrus’s crimes lead to Jeff Kober’s GH exit? Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has been wreaking havoc on Port Charles and its people since February of 2020. Five years later and he’s more dangerous than ever. It’s no secret that Cyrus Renault is on a killing spree. Sadly, Cyrus uses the Lord’s word as his excuse to commit heinous acts againsth good people.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that the PCPD and some vigilante civilians are determined to nail Cyrus for the recent murders at General Hospital. Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), Lucky (Jonathan Jackson), and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) made it their mission to prove Cyrus killed Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). So far, what they found out was that he’s killed many more people than a mother of two and a PCPD Officer.
According to General Hospital news and spoilers, Cyrus is definitely the killer. And not just THE killer, he’s a serial killer! Just ask the family members of his Turning Woods victims. GH recaps reveal that Sam deck were not Cyrus‘s only victims. Sooner than later he will be caught and thrown in prison so what’s left for Cyrus after it’s revealed? Most likely not much.
General Hospital: Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober)
Moreover, General Hospital news reports reveal that Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson have addressed Cyrus the serial killer and what that means for the actor. The phenomenal Jeff Kober plays a fantastic creep. Cyrus Renault has victimize his fair share of Port Charles residence, but his time could be coming to an end.
Burton and Bradford Discuss Jeff Kober’s GH Exit
In a recent discussion on the Daily Drama, Steve and Bradford explain their thoughts on what’s next for Cyrus and his portrayer Jeff Kober. The clip below shows GH co-started they dissect Cyrus’s storyline. As it turns out, both actors were unaware that a killer was on the loose- and that it’s none other than Cyrus Renault! Anderson and Burton also discuss the longevity of Kober’s time on the iconic daytime drama. Let’s just say being a serial killer “doesn’t bode well for the longevity of the character,” *laughter* as stated by Bradford.
*Rolls eyes* “No. I don’t know how you’d come back from that one.” Button added.
Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright)
It’s almost been a year since Carly Spencer and Jack (formerly John) Brennan (Charles Mesure) first met. Carly instantly caught the mysterious man’s attention, and it seems like something’s been brewing ever since. Slowly, Carly and Jack become closer.
New to daytime tv, actor Charles Mesure joined General Hospital’s cast in December of 2023.
According to GH recaps, Carly looked to WSB Agent Jack Brennan to help with some pressing issues. And just like that, Brennan came through and saved the day. So far Brennan has shown Carly that he’s trustworthy and useful. Despite Jason’s apprehension, Carly believes that Brennan checks out just fine.
General Hospital spoilers reveal an upcoming story involving Carly and WSP agent Jack Brennan. Recently, GH’s Laura Wright joined costars Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson on their podcast called The Daily Drama. Bradford, Steve, and Laura had a lot to discuss about the current storyline. Particularly, the hot-button topic of Carly’s love life.
Of course, the way things are going GH favs can’t help but wonder where Jack and Carly are headed- if anywhere. According to General Hospital news and spoilers, Laura Wright revealed Carly‘s take on Jack. She tells Steve and Brandford, “. I wouldn’t say that there’s any kind of hot desire or anything like that.” So, for now that’s where Carly is with how she feels about Brennan. Although Carly and Brennan aren’t ready to hit the sheets just yet, there’s definitely something there.
Meanwhile, Brennan and Carly continue to get along with ease. That is until a situation arises and they don’t see eye to eye. GH news reports confirm that Laura’s inside scoop reveals and upcoming disagreement between Jack Brennan and Carly.
Hint: Could the disagreement have something to do with Josslyn? Let us know what you think! Cast your vote below.
