Audrey Hardy (Rachel Ames) is one of the most iconic names in daytime television, specifically among the popular soap opera genre. Daytime dramas became a huge part of our culture. Additionally, advertisers intentionally utilized this specific target market and placed commercials for everyday household products during these time slots. Thus targeting housewives and stay at home moms.
General Hospital debuted in 1963 and just celebrated 60 years on the air. That said, 60 years is a long time and and few original cast members remain in the show, and sadly, many have passed away. But, Elizabeth Webber is one lucky girl to still have her good-hearted Gram around. Actress Rachel Ames debuted as Audrey Hardy, RN, in 1964. But fans couldn’t help but wonder how old Gram must be by now, as it seems like she’s been part of GH forever. Well, fans were right about that because Audrey, portrayed by Ames, was introduced to the canvas just after the show’s start in 1963. However, some fans were wrong about something. Some assumed the actress had passed away. Thankfully, that’s not the case. In fact, actress Rachel Ames is an impressive 93 years old, and turns 94 on November 2, 2023. Have no fear, Rachel Ames is still here, and her birthday is just around the corner!
Daytime television star, Roger Howarth is best know for his iconic role on ABC’s One Life To Live. Sadly, the soap opera came to an end after over 43 years. Even after OLTL’s final episode in 2012, Roger Howarth’s portrayal of Todd Manning continued. That was went Howarth joined OLTL’s sister soap, the wildly popular General Hospital.
However, due to legal issues, the character names were prohibited for use at GH. Therefore, the story shifted, Todd Manning was no more, and Roger Howard with now James Franco’s replacement as Franco Baldwin. He won over fans despite the nature of the role, and circumstances lead to a personality revamp for Franco. Another twist and turn killed off Franco, which riffled a lot of fan’s feather. Alas, Howarth returns as the odd ball doctor, Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt, son of Jimmy Lee Holt.
According to General Hospital news reports, Howarth deals with another exit. Currently, Austin is in the thick of things. He’s involved with Sonny Corinthos’s enemy, which usually doesn’t turn out so well for the other side. Furthermore, he and Ava Jerome (Maura West) recently sparked a little something, but now she’s not so sure. Needless to say, Austin as a lot going on in Port Charles. So, why has he been missing from the canvas?

Nina and Valentin Get Back Together

According to General Hospital spoilers, Sonny’s kids prepare to leave the country for their father’s wedding. Although Michael and Willow were hesitant, they ultimately decide to attend. and Sonny’s wedding drama is inevitable. As previously mentioned, Dante thinks it’s that going to the island is a smart move on the business front. That’s because he knows all too well what could happen if they were to gone through with the Metro Court setting in Port Charles. Surely, Sonny’s enemies would eat the opportunity to make a move.
Despite Dante’s sentiments, GH rumors tease that Nina is exposed! Finally, the truth comes out about the SEC tip-off, and soon everyone will know what she’s done. Will their trip to paradise end in disaster? Something tells me that Nina won’t return to PC as a new bride. Instead, GH rumors tease that Nina’s world gets flipped upside down when her lies come to bite her. Sadly, it’s possible that Nina loses Sonny forever.
Meanwhile, Charlotte works on getting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) out of the way. Her uncle Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) stern warnings make Charlotte as fast to save her Papa. Ultimately, GH rumors tease that Charlotte gets Nina and Valentin back together! On the Island, Sonny and Nina’s wedding and relationship falls apart. But that doesn’t mean that Nina won’t have a shoulder to cry on when she gets back.
Take a look at what Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has done! After all, she is the reason for Sasha having to endure this perpetual torture. Greedy Gladys has crossed the line and she will be dealt with. Previously, Sonny Corinthos showed up at her door to confront his cousin. Now, we wait. Meanwhile, her accomplice roams free.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny handles Gladys, mobster style. It’s about time that someone puts a stop to Sasha’s monster-in-law. Her involvement with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) lead her to lie, steal, cheat her son’s widow. Additionally, Sasha’s life is at risk because Gladys turned to Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) to help in the betrayal against Sasha.
According to GH previews and spoilers, Dr. Montague takes Sasha hostage inside her Ferncliff cell. There he threatens her life and says, “I’m walking out of here, and I’m taking her with me.” It’s unclear who is in the doorway when Montague makes his claim. Is whoever it is strong enough to stop him? Is this person even on Sasha’s side!?
