This newcomer has quite the bloodline! Did you all notice how Blaze and Kristina made a point to mention the singer’s family background? Specifically that the pop star has zero ties to Port Charles? Automatically I find that suspicious. Aside from Kristina, Blaze’s only PC connections are her newly developed friendships and business relationships with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Detective Chase (Josh Swickard).
Like many other pop stars and other celebrities, Kristina’s new friend uses a stage name. We don’t know much of her backstory or family life, but little by little Blaze gets know more people around Port Charles. In turn, more people learn a little more about the famous artist. What we do know is that she goes by the name of Blaze when on stage. But before the world knew her as the one-word, bold statement piece, she was given the name Alison Rogers.
According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, Blaze contemplates Maxie and Lucy’s offer to become the new Face of Deception. Meanwhile, Tracy Quartermaine already pumped the brakes on that. Doesn’t it seem odd that Tracy would auddebtly care so much about having a heart? Especially for someone she barely knows. Tracy isn’t obligated to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) but she has a strong opinion about the young woman and her status with the cosmetic company. Surely it’s natural and normal to care about someone’s best interest even when business is at stake, but not for Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). GH rumors claim that Blaze could be one of two stage names.
Despite her Hispanic heritage, Blaze’s name doesn’t have too much of a cultural ring to it. Alison Rogers doesn’t exactly scream, “I’m Hispanic.” Instead, it seems like another fake persona. While this doesn’t necessarily mean anything since people are free to legally change their name to almost anything they want. However, it does raise suspicions.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Tracy was adamant that Blaze doesn’t become the new Face of Deception for a reasons having nothing to do with Sasha. Reportedly, GH rumors about Blaze’s identity dance around Tracy Quartermaine. As it turns out, the more GH fans dive into the possibilities, the more it looks like Tracy has a personal vendetta against the pop star. Why? Well, because Tracy is just being Tracy. To clarify, GH rumors claim that Tracy knows exactly who Blaze is and wants her nowhere near any more Quartermaine money.
Again, we ask why? Well because it’s very rare that a Port Charles newcomer is actually a lone addition. Most times their family tree reveals itself over time. That’s why fans believe that Blaze has strong connections in PC. The name Alison Rogers doesn’t really fit for a proud Hispanic woman. Instead, it sounds like a cover story. That said, GH spoilers and rumors tease that Alison is actually Lila Rae, Skye Quartermaine’s daughter! Remember Skye? She’s the Quartermaine who really isn’t a Quartermaine. According to GH history, Skye scammed the family but was still accepted as one of their own even after the truth was revealed. Obviously this didn’t sit well worth Tracy. And since she’s out to settle decades old scores, why not stuck it to Blaze, the illegitimate Quartermaine heir?
If you think this revelation is big, wait until you heard what gh rumors claim about Blaze’s paternal side. If you didn’t watch GH firing this time then you might not know that Skye and Lorenzo Alcazar had a daughter, Lila Rae. Now, the GH rumor mill buzzes over Blaze. Is she Skye and Lorenzo’s daughter?
Martin Gray has hell to pay! He gave up Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) to save himself. As a result, the bumbling attorney broke the client/attorney confidentiality laws. Furthermore,
Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) pulled a fast one on Nina’s attorney, and was able to get a recording of Martin’s confession. Michael has all the proof he needs to have Nina in his control. According to GH spoilers and rumors, Martin warns Michael to think twice before exposing Nina. Currently, all that Michael can think about is confronting his step mom, ultimately exposing her secret. However, there is one little detail that Michael overlooked.
The latest General Hospital promo indicates that Michael is ready to make his move. Additionally, GH rumors tease that Martin warns Michael about Willow. Her miraculous recovery and fresh start to life should be handled with care. Willow recently started to build a relationship with her mother, and she’s happy.
Will Michael want to take that away from his new bride? GH rumors claim that he reconsiders his plan and gives Nina a choice. Michael wants the final say when it fines to Nina’s interactions with Willow, Wiley, and Amelia. Will Nina accept in exchange for Michael’s silence?
For an Attorney, one would think that he’d make more intelligent choices. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) doesn’t seem to have much common sense despite his extensive knowledge about the American Judicial System.
Obviously, Scotty Baldwin knows the law. His extensive knowledge and hands-on experience as an attorney makes him one of Port Charles’s best. Although he often practices unethically, Scott manages to work the system in his client’s favor. For example, his recent success in Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) early release from Pentonville showcases Baldwin’s law skills. Somehow he managed to get a judge to overturn a criminal sentence. As a result, a dangerous killer walks free around Port Charles.
Apparently, Scott’s common sense isn’t as sharp as his ability to work the system. He might make slick moves in the courtroom but falls short when it comes to the streets. General Hospital rumors hint that Scott makes himself a target.
General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny’s enemy list grows. Sonny is cracking down, and he’s on a mission to uncover any disloyal so-called allies. The last thing he has time for is unexpected enemies. Including those who remained indifferent for lack of association with involved parties. Consequently, Scotty becomes Sonny’s newest enemy as a result of his decision to represent Cyrus Renault.
There’s no doubt that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) has the goods! He is strapped with the proper ammunition to take Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) down for good. Finally, GH spoilers and previews indicate that Michael confronts Nina with what he knows. And now it’s all over for Nina. Or is it?
General Hospital fans are at the edge of their seats as this highly anticipated storyline begins its climax. We are at the height of the story involving Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), his new bride Nina, his ex-wife Carly (Laura Wright) and her boyfriend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), and of course, his son Michael. While other players have a role in this story, these people are mostly affected by Nina’s big secret.
Nina Reeves is now Mrs. Corinthos, and while she basks in the glory of landing Carly’s man, other people suffer from her selfish decisions. Nina doesn’t seem to care who she hurts as long as she gets what she wants in the end. To her, the means justify the end so long as she gets her revenge and her fantasy life. And that’s exactly that it is, a fantasy.
Michael Keeps Nina’s Secret
Meanwhile, Michael Corinthos couldn’t bear to wonder anymore. Petty jealously lead Nina to tip off the SEC, sending Drew to Pentonville. Additionally, Carly’s financial troubles and emotional distress have been the result of Nina’s actions. That’s why Michael couldn’t let his mom suffer the fallout from some snitch’s revenge tactics.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Michael drops the bomb on Nina and tells her that he knows that she snitched on Carly and Drew. So, it’ll all over over soon, right? Wrong. While GH previews indicate that Michael finally tells Nina that he knows her secret. but it won’t be the end of this. Instead, Michael makes a decision to protect Willow’s heart. He sees how she and Nina are starting to bond, and he doesn’t want to take that away from her. So, he actually blackmails his new stepmom.
According to the latest General Hospital rumors and spoilers, Michael keeps Nina’s secret for a price. Martin’s warning weighs on Michael’s mind, and his fear of Nina’s wrath keeps him from spilling the tea. Since Michael can’t bear to watch Willow get crushed by Nina yet again, he decides to tell Nina that her secret is safe with him, just as long as she abides by his rules. Basically, Michael has Nina cornered, and she must comply or else she’ll lose everything- including her sanity.
My how time flies! It’s coming up on 4 years since Amanda Setton joined General Hospital. She made her GH debut as Brook Lynn Quartermaine on November 18th, 2019. Setton has since built a large fan base as the new Brook Lynn.
Now, four years later and GH fans are rooting for this young woman. Amanda has undeniably made this role her own after taking over from Adrianne Leon. Many years are between Leon’s GH exit and Setton’s debut. Reportedly, Adrianne Leon told Soaps Opera Digest in August of 2019 that she’d be happy to reprise her role as Brook Lynn Quartermaine. However, GH cast Setton in the role just a few months later.
BLQ has come a long way since her life as Ned (Wally Kurth) and Lois’s (Rena Sofer) daughter began. The new version of this Bensonhurst Beauty is just starting to bloom, and I think that we can thank Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Detective Chase (Josh Swickard) for that. According to recent General Hospital news and spoilers, GH’s Amanda Setton gives an inside scoop to Soaps In Depth
Amanda Setton Spills The Tea, Reveals New Brook Lynn Quartermaine
It’s an exciting time for Setton’s character, Brook Lynn, aka BLQ! The Quartermaine family dysfunction is at a high point, but it’s nothing unfamiliar. Instead, the Q’s embrace the chaos and dysfunction. It’s almost like they need it to survive. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Lois’s return plays a major role in BLQ’s life. Consequently, the effects extend to other family members as well. Changes are ahead, starting with Brook Lynn. Setton reflects on BLQ’s storyline when she and Maxie did whatever it took to protect baby Bailey Lou from Maxie’s crazy baby daddy, Peter August (Wes Ramsey). She admitted, “I think that whole maternal scheme transformed Brook Lynn and softened her and showed us a completely different side of her,”
It was BLQ and Maxie’s bond, along with the song and dance she’s doing with Chase that contributed to the start of something new. “She has that trust with Chase and doesn’t really have it with anyone else,” Setton said. “She can’t trust her grandmother. Her father is not who he says he is [Ned’s slip and fall accident conveniently turned him into Eddie Maine]. She’s been fired from her job.
“She’s sort of in this transition time,” she clarified, “but, you know, she’s still got her grandmother’s streak in her! She’s reformed, but she’s still Brook Lynn Quartermaine.”
Thankfully, General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that fans can rest assured that Setton is sticking around. The new Brook Lynn Quartermaine may have a few tweaks, but she’s still true to her own heart!
Despite everything they’ve been through, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) remain in each other’s side. As the other parent to their children, Sonny and Carly mutually respect one another and hold their positions in a place of honor.
Similarly, but not exactly, Sonny holds Ava Jerome (Maura West) in the same regard. It’s understandable as Sonny honors the mothers of his children, even if they’re no longer involved. However, he was never romantically involved with Ava. And furthermore, she had a hand in his and Carly’s son, Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) death.
The relationship between Sonny and Ava is nothing more than mutual respect, but some say that it’s much more than she deserves after her part in Morgan’s shocking death. She felt comfortable enough to turn to her child’s father in her time of need. Additionally, Ava trusted Sonny with her secret about Nikolas Cassadine.
According to GH recaps, Carly’s daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) lead the search for Ava. That’s when she realized that something was very wrong. Meanwhile in Puerto Rico, Sonny and Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) honeymoon was cut short when Carly called with the news she heard from Joss. Clearly, both Sonny and Carly have been there for Ava in her time of need. And according to GH spoilers, Ava tells Sonny and Carly Nina’s secret out of loyalty. She feels guilty that she’s been keeping this secret as they’ve gone to great lengths to find the truth. She’s watched Carly lose so much while all along she knew it was Nina who tipped off the SEC.
Will Sonny and Carly ever forgive Ava for keeping Nina’s secret?
Carly Spencer aka Corinthos (Laura Wright), and her ex-husband Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have been more than generous with their kindness toward Ava Jerome (Maura West). Despite Sonny and Ava sharing their daughter, Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola), Sonny despised Ava for her part in his son Morgan Corinthos’s (Bryan Craig) death.
General Hospital recaps recall a bizarre twist of fate that found Sonny and Ava going half on a baby in the crypt, at night. Weird, I know.
Regardless, that’s how Avery was conceived. They’ve all come such a long way since back then. Ava should count her lucky state that Sonny and Carly give her the Tim wife say let alone co-parent so smoothly. Over the years the three remain Avery’s main caregivers, but how Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is part of the equation. Another mystery in General Hospital history is how Sonny and Ava forgave Nina for kidnapping their daughter. Anyways, Carly and Ava have developed a mutual understanding as well as Carly, Sonny, and Ava as a whole. But General Hospital spoilers tease that things start to take a turn in the wrong direction.
GH spoilers indicate that Nina Reeves basks in the glory of being the new Mrs. Corinthos. Meanwhile, Ava recovery’s from her trauma after being abducted. Carly continues to extend kindness and welcomes Ava with open arms for Avery’s sake. Furthermore, Sonny doesn’t hesitate to run to Ava’s rescue when Carly passes along the news.
Ava’s No Longer Under Sonny’s Protection
According to GH rumors, all the extra hospitality ends for Ava when sonny and Carly learn the truth. See, eve is known Nina’s secret since the very beginning. Despite Sonny and Carly’s kindness towards Ava, she decided to keep them from the truth. Ava never told Sonny or Carly that Nina tipped off the SEC. Did Ava ruin the mutual respect that had grown among them?
Audrey Hardy (Rachel Ames) is one of the most iconic names in daytime television, specifically among the popular soap opera genre. Daytime dramas became a huge part of our culture. Additionally, advertisers intentionally utilized this specific target market and placed commercials for everyday household products during these time slots. Thus targeting housewives and stay at home moms.
General Hospital debuted in 1963 and just celebrated 60 years on the air. That said, 60 years is a long time and and few original cast members remain in the show, and sadly, many have passed away. But, Elizabeth Webber is one lucky girl to still have her good-hearted Gram around. Actress Rachel Ames debuted as Audrey Hardy, RN, in 1964. Fifty nine tears later, Audrey is still there hit her granddaughter, Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).
Apparently, a recent General Hospital scene got fans talking. Elizabeth was on the phone with her Gram, Audrey, as the two remain very close. But fans couldn’t help but wonder how old Gram must be by now, as it seems like she’s been part of GH forever. Well, fans were right about that because Audrey, portrayed by Ames, was introduced to the canvas just after the show’s start in 1963. However, some fans were wrong about something. Some assumed the actress had passed away. Thankfully, that’s not the case. In fact, actress Rachel Ames is an impressive 93 years old, and turns 94 on November 2, 2023. Have no fear, Rachel Ames is still here, and her birthday is just around the corner!
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) didn’t fall too far from the tree. She’s a lot like her Ma and Dad. Since both parents were in the music industry, Brook Lynn exhibits musical talent as well as a knack for the business side of things. But thanks to Nina’s daughter Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), BLQ won’t be making any albums of her own. Instead, she chose the managerial path.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Brook Lynn dives even deeper into music management after being fired from Deception. At least now she can put her energy toward her true career- her passion, music. It’s no secret that Brook Lynn comes from the business, so it’s no surprise that she’s chosen this path. According to GH rumors, Lois could become more involved in her daughter’s life. Including her career. Who better to show BLQ the ropes of the judiciary industry than the “L” in L&B Records.
Lois Brings Brenda Back To Port Charles To Revive L&B Records With BLQ
According to GH news and spoilers, Rena Sofer’s recent General Hospital return is a major hit. Fans have been extra vocal about their excitement for this character, and cannot wait to see what she brings to the table. GH rumors suggest that Lois is here to handle on Tracy. Additionally, GH fans speculate about the 90s vibe in Port Charles. So far we have Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth ) and Lois Cerullo who feel like a major blast from the past. Actress Vanessa Marcus is very active in social media and frequently reflects on her Brenda days. The 90s was the Goodeb Era for GH and many hope to see more familiarity. Including Brenda’s return.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) is a key player in this whole Nina/SEC storyline. But first, can anyone tell me when he changed his name from Ashton to Quartermaine? I know he’s been going by Q for a while, but I must’ve missed when he officially changed it over. And every time I write about Ned it trips me up LOL. But Quartermaine it is, I suppose.
Alright, back to the storyline suspense! General Hospital spoilers promise that Nina soon gets what’s coming to her. The secrets she keeps from Sonny will blow up in her face, and the fairytale ending that she thought she landed is soon over. Currently, Michael just learned some startling information about who turned in Carly and Drew to the SEC.
First, he received a text from someone whose contact information wasn’t saved in his phone. So, that tells us that whoever gave him this information isn’t someone close to him. Then, he spoke with this unknown businessman on the phone right after he congratulated Nina and kissed her cheek. Understandably, Michael’s vibe took a dive after that call. Now, the majorly of GH fans believe that Michael knows it was Nina, and that he’ll expose her for the lying, betraying, untrustworthy woman they always knew her to be.
Despite the hype about Michael outing Nina, General Hospital spoilers remind fans that someone already knows the truth. According to GH recaps, Ned Ashton, aka Eddie Maine, overheard exactly what Nina had done. At the time, he made it clear that her secret wasn’t safe with him and marched right over to tell Drew. And we all know what happened next. Suddenly, Ned’s injury worked in Nina’s favor since he now doesn’t remember himself as Ned, let alone what Ned overheard.
Nina is surrounded on all sides as more people know what she’s done. GH spoilers tease that Ned didn’t overhear Nina incriminate herself for no reason. And at some point, whatever Ned and Eddie have up “their” sleeve is going to come out and bite Nina.
