We might know him as Ned Ashton Quartermaine, but there’s another network that claims Kurth as well. Before there was Ned, Wally started as Justin Kiriakis on NBC’s Days Of Our Lives.

According to the latest General Hospital news, Wally Kurth shared some insight on today’s most talked about topic. As previously mentioned, Kurth currently works for ABC’s General Hospital, as well as Peacock’s Days Of Our Lives. Because of his experience, working on both soaps, he had a little something to add to a recent conversation.

In a podcast published to social media platforms, GH news and spoilers reports confirm that Kurth weighed in on the perpetual curiosity of Steve Burton’s aka Jason Morgan’s fans. Is he or isn’t he? Evidently, despite Burtons current contract status with DOOL, co-star Kurth said, “he’ll be back on the show (General Hospital) soon.”

Although Burton remains under contract, GH spoilers and news reports confirm that the iconic mob enforcer signed a one year contract which will be up in March of 2024. So far it’s six months down and six to go before his contract with Peacock’s Days.

Despite his 2021 exit, many argue that ABC’s General Hospital is Steve Burton‘s home. Compromising his beliefs wasn’t something he was about to do to keep his job. However, the mandate has been lifted. Therefore., that being said, along with thirty years as Jason Morgan under his belt, fans hold out hope he will return to GH.

Sonny’s most memorable enemy REVEALED! …I’m not sure how I would take it if I was given that title. Actually, never mind. Being named Sonny Corinthos’s most memorable enemy is nothing short of an honor. Especially if that’s what you were going for all along.

Undoubtedly, Sonny has had the cream of the crop when it comes to top tier villains. Over the years, all of Sonny’s enemies gave him a run for his money. From Frank Smith to Faith Rosco (Cynthia Preston), Manny Ruiz to Anthony Zacchara, Sonny’s had his mob work cut out for him. And of all the men and woman who’ve ever had it out for Sonny have tried and failed. But there is only one “the boss” has named his most memorable enemy.

As you know, Maurice Benard is currently on tour. Maurice Benard: The Milestone Tour, is hitting the east coast and mid-west areas. In the past GH fans have expressed their interest in seeing Maurice at fan events outside of his own region. However, it became widely known that Maurice was never a big fan of flying. Understandably, this issue served as an obstacle for Maurice and fans to connect.

Well, fast forward to present day, and Maurice has overcome so much! In 2023 his determination overpowered his fears and he hopped on that place in March. It was the first time flying without his wife, Paula. Naturally, with every experience brings one more at ease with the situation. Maurice is bigger than his fears and it shows. I for one am particularly grateful for this milestone as he finally paid a visit to good ole Detroit (technically, Royal Oak).

That being said, we have some GH spoilers to share- straight from the mobster’s mouth. Thursday night’s event drew General Hospital fans together for an evening with the iconic Maurice Benard. There he spoke to fans about his passions, vulnerabilities, told jokes, laughed and even teared up. During his show, fans were able to ask questions. That’s when someone asked Maurice who he considered to be Sonny’s most memorable enemy.

According to the latest General Hospital spoilers Josslyn confronts Dex about Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) yet again. Things have been intense and she’s ready for it to calm down. Unfortunately, the intensity is about to surge in Port Charles. Some argue that Josslyn knew exactly what she was getting into when she fell for Dex. …Have you ever asked yourself about how certain characters are still able to walk among the rest of even a fictional society? Television or not, we still empathize with others as we watch life throw them every curveball. And we are quick to anger at any character that puts our beloved favorites in harms way.

As we know, not everything is as it seems in Port Charles. Trust is hard to come by these days, while lies and betrayal hide within the hearts of even the softest souls. After all, isn’t that why some of us root for the bad guy? Because we see the soft side to them, i.e. Sonny Corinthos. Sometimes character villains are so sinister that the only direction the role is going is toward the exit, as in, written out of the script.

Over in Soap Opera lala land, both the fans and characters tend to love a good villain. It’s like falling in love with the bad boy. However, some characters just get under our skin or have committed such horrible acts that they are beyond redemption. Although, there isn’t much that a soap character can do that’ll close the door on starting anew.

As for Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), that greedy woman already had her second chance. According to GH recaps, Sonny and Gladys had a heart to heart with his cousin Gladys. That’s when Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) death put things into perspective and Sonny was able to open his heart to a grieving mother. One who is family nonetheless.

General Hospital spoilers tease the walls are closing in on Gladys. She’s in too deep with a sinister doctor and a ruthless woman who just heard the word no from a presumed ally. Not to mention what Sonny is going to do when he finds out. Honestly, Dr. Montague and Selina Wu will be the least of her worries because Gladys is toast when Sonny gets wind of this. But for now, the creepy doc and the ruthless mob Queen are Gladys’s biggest worries.

GH spoilers indicate that now Gladys is $50,000 richer odds are the money won’t go to save Sasha. In fact, brand new General Hospital previews show Selina giving Gladys a very important message. It’s a life and death situation for Sasha, while Nina Reeves and Selina may have made things worse. GH rumors tease that Selina’s demands turn lethal while Nina’s mistake could be deadly.

Of course, Gladys is to blame for Sasha’s current situation. However, Nina should never have trusted Gladys. All she has to do with to with her (and the money), to make sure the story is straight. And I’m sure Gladys has every intention of delivering the money to the doctor in order to free Sasha. Sadly , GH rumors that she has a change of heart. Apparently, Selina’s phone call comes just the precise time that she second guesses what she’ll do with Nina’s money. If Dr. Montague doesn’t get his money, Sasha dies. And if Selina doesn’t get her money, Gladys dies. What will Gladys choose?

…For the most part, Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have a common understanding and mutual respect for one another. That being said, neither party intend to make the other an enemy. Unfortunately, sometimes that a just happen.

General Hospital recaps recall Sonny and Selina’s latest conversation about The Savoy, specifically her back door poker room. Evidently, Selina figured that she could simply walk into Sonny’s office and present him with her personal dilemma. Furthermore, she expected him to agree and comply, but when he didn’t, the dismay was written all over her face.

Previous GH spoilers suggested that Selina is now a woman scorned. Sonny is someone who she thought considered her an ally. If that were true, then why is Sonny Corinthos protecting someone else? Selina second guesses where she ranks with Sonny. Now, she has some important decisions to make. If Sonny wants to protect Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Marshall during their family’s struggle, he may risk putting his own family in peril.

According to earlier GH news and spoilers, Ms. Wu’s portrayer gave insight on Selina and Sonny’s relationship. She revealed her true feelings on how she sees Selina and Sonny’s relationship. …Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) has some explaining to do. Now that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) confronted how about the alimony, she’s also come clean about snooping in Jackson Montgomery’s files. That’s when she admitted to snooping on Martin- but with good reason. Lucy wants answers, and if Martin won’t divulge, maybe ex-wife #3 will.

General Hospital news reports confirm that OLTL star Kassie DePaiva returns to GH this September. Meanwhile, another new yet familiar face has shown up recently. All My Children star and daytime tv icon, Walt Willey, joined General Hospital as his OG AMC role, Jackson Montgomery. The golden heartthrob gets all the boomer’s hearts ticking. In fact, Walt Willey (and Tom Jones) are my late mother’s absolute favorite celebrities. I remember her swooning over Walt every time Jackson popped up around 1 o’clock!

…Well, you know what they say, “timing is everything.” As if there could be an actual “bad” time for a loved one to wake up from a coma. Instead, let’s call it an inopportune time for this situation.

There’s no doubt that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) wants nothing more than for his ex-wife to come back to her family. Lulu (Emme Rylan) has been heavily on her daughter’s mind lately, as she prays for her mother to awaken. General Hospital recaps recall Dante and his stepdaughter Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlet Fernandez) recent visit to Lulu’s bedside. In addition, Lulu’s been on her mother Laura Spencer Collins’s (Genie Francis) mind a lot lately.

According to GH news and spoilers, in soap world, name dropping is a suspicious act that has a tendency to allude toward that certain character’s return. Luckily, it’s very rare that a character’s death or departure has an iron clad lock on the door. Sadly, we do end up losing some of our favorites from time to time. This time, it seems like it’s all about power and greed. Whereas in the past, many of Sonny’s even wits were our for revenge. Regardless, the threat is real and Sonny and Brick much work fast for answers.

According to the latest GH previews, Sonny’s enemy wants him out of the way for good. The monster knows he must strategize in order to outsmart the enemy. GH spoilers reveal that Brick sits down with Sonny to go over key points of the situation. That’s when he realizes that maybe someone just wants what’s Sonny’s. Nonetheless, Carly and Michael (Chad Duell) made the decision to keep Dex on payroll to now help protect Sonny.

According to GH spoilers, Brick believes that greed drives Sonny’s latest enemy. In recent GH previews, Brick suggest that someone wants the money for themselves and Sonny out and the way. Additionally, the same GH previews promo shows Carly giving a warning out of a dangerous situation. And from the looks of things she could be talking to Dex. Because then, Dex is shown in what looks like a life or death situation. Something doesn’t seem right about the way Dex is acting. Peculiarly, it almost looks like he’s running in the opposite direction of an exit or any type of safety. So, can Carly trust Dex to help protect Sonny from them enemy? Or, is Dex the enemy?

Major General Hospital rumors speculate that brick is 100% correct , and that someone wants the money for themselves. Watch out, Sonny! Is that someone Dex Heller (Evan Hofer)?
