Kim Delaney is widely known for her role as Diane Russell on NYPD Blue. But in 2020, a whole new fan base got to know her. That’s when she joined the General Hospital fast as Jackie Templeton. GH news confirmed that Delaney took over the 1980’s role from actress Demi Moore. GH recaps recall that Jackie Templeton was married to Gregory Finn (Gregory Chase). For years, family drama tore them apart until she returned to Port Charles in 2020. Since then Kim Delaney and Jackie left in 2021.

According to General Hospital news reports, Kim Delaney faces hit and run charges in connection with an incident that happened over a year ago. Reportedly, her erratic driving caused Delaney to hit a motorcycle. That’s when the victim called the police and Delaney made a phone call.

According to the motorcyclist, Dzhamal Badalov, Delaney crashed into his motorcycle while he was stopped at a red light. Allegedly, Delaney was disoriented and tried to flee. Also, made a phone call, and it’s believed that she was told to leave the scene. Moreover, the victim claims that he was asked to take payment instead of calling the police.

GH rumors claim that witnesses say Delaney struggles with alcohol. As a result, the NYPD and General Hospital star faces two lawsuits. Additionally, criminal charges have been brought against her for allegedly leaving the scene prior to police arrival.

Reportedly, Sonya’s friend and producing partner Tyler Ford accepted the award on her behalf. According to news outlet TMZ, Sonya’s brother Robbie Eddy spoke out regarding his sister’s posthumous Emmy win. He mentioned that the family wasn’t notified that she’d be receiving the honor. Now allegedly, Tyler Ford has denied Eddy’s family upon their request for the award.

The show’s cast and GH family suffered much loss, and celebrating the lives of their dear friends. In December, General Hospital’s success shined at the Daytime Emmy Awards. With record breaking wins, General Hospital went home with the glory. Take a look below at the details surrounding General Hospital’s big night!

General Hospital Execs Announce Major Changes

According to the latest General Hospital spoilers, things are going to be different behind-the-scenes. While many times change is feared, it’s also viewed as a time to grow. Today, GH news reports confirm that General Hospital has name two new Head Writers! It’s been revealed that Chris Van Etten and Dan O’Connor never longer hold the position. Upon their departure, Patrick Mulcahey and Elizabeth Korte take over as Head Writers.

Reportedly, Korte and Mulcahey are no strangers to the longest running television drama. In fact, Korte has written for GH since 1995, and held co-head writing position in 2001. Additionally, she co-created GH spinoff, Night Shift, with Robert Guza. As for Patrick Mulcahey, credits include, Search For Tomorrow, Texas Loving, Santa Barbara, Guiding Light, and The Bold And The Beautiful. Moreover, his credits include his role as script writer and associate head writer from 1983-1999.

I don’t know about you all, but it seems to me that great potential lies ahead with the recent changes. These “new” writers share GH history, which could make for some solid writing for the future of Port Charles.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is going through some difficult times in various areas of her life. She’s been dealing with other people’s problems on top of her own. Sadly, Joss just lost her grandmother. She and her family grieve over their loss while taking swings at other forces coming for them. For Josslyn, that includes the drama that’s going on with Adam at school, the fallout from Nina’s lies, while helping her mom pick up the pieces.

On December 18th, a recast took over for Eden McCoy as it was announced that she’d be on temporary leave. McCoy took some time after her mother’s passing, and Courtney Fulk stepped in as Josslyn. Fulk did a fantastic job stepping in as Josslyn, particularly during some of the challenging moments.

Although the role of Jason Morgan was once recast, it was quickly learned that having anyone play Jason was not going to work as they’d hoped. Instead, Burton’s recast, the late Billy Miller, was written as Drew Cain. This left room for Steve Burton to return.
