General Hospital News And Spoilers: Roger Howarth Explains GH Exit

Daytime television star, Roger Howarth is best know for his iconic role on ABC’s One Life To Live. Sadly, the soap opera came to an end after over 43 years. Even after OLTL’s final episode in 2012, Roger Howarth’s portrayal of Todd Manning continued. That was went Howarth joined OLTL’s sister soap, the wildly popular General Hospital.

However, due to legal issues, the character names were prohibited for use at GH. Therefore, the story shifted, Todd Manning was no more, and Roger Howard with now James Franco’s replacement as Franco Baldwin. He won over fans despite the nature of the role, and circumstances lead to a personality revamp for Franco. Another twist and turn killed off Franco, which riffled a lot of fan’s feather. Alas, Howarth returns as the odd ball doctor, Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt, son of Jimmy Lee Holt.

According to General Hospital news reports, Howarth deals with another exit. Currently, Austin is in the thick of things. He’s involved with Sonny Corinthos’s enemy, which usually doesn’t turn out so well for the other side. Furthermore, he and Ava Jerome (Maura West) recently sparked a little something, but now she’s not so sure. Needless to say, Austin as a lot going on in Port Charles. Thus far, Mr. Renault has had it made. It’s not a cake walk to carry out a prison sentence but Cyrus knows how to play the system. Additionally, he knows exactly how to manipulate and gaslight those around him. Apparently, when you preach what you don’t practice, it’s easy to fool others into believing that you’re something that you aren’t.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) wanted nothing more than to be Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) wife. She got her hooks into him back in Nixon Falls, when the poor man suffered from amnesia. While knowing who he was and that he had a family, she continues to keep a confused mobster all to herself. It doesn’t stop there because Nina and (“Mike”) Sonny even share a grandson! Even that wasn’t enough motivation for Nina to tell the truth.

Over the last few years Nina and Sonny have lived blissfully in their delusions. Sonny, he’s delusional about Nina’s true colors. And she’s oblivious to the fact that she’s not cut out for his life. Nina has lived in her delusion that Sonny will keep “Mike” at his core. But in reality, he’s Sonny through and through. They just aren’t a good fit, it’s as simple a that. General Hospital Spoilers: Harmony Knows Something They Don’t Know, Nina’s Secret Past Exposed!

Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) was no model citizen or even a good parent. Sure, she wasn’t a total monster of a mother. But her’s and Willow’s relationship was far from your typical mother-daughter bond. In fact, Willow didn’t even know that Harmony wasn’t her biological mother. Therefore, her home life was based on a lie. But Willow and Harmony loved each other in their own way.

Clearly, Harmony loves and cares deeply about the only daughter she’s ever known. Despite how things went down over the years, Harmony feels the need to protect Willow, even from beyond the grave. That’s when she came to her daughter in dream.

Despite all of Harmony’s shortcomings as a mother, she still finds it necessary to keep Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) from Willow. Is Harmony just the worst kind of hypocrite? Or does she know something about Nina that’s so dark it makes Harmony look like Mother-of-the-Year?

It must be so strange for Willow to bring herself to call either of these women her mother. The woman who “raised” jet was the only mother she’d ever known. It’s no secret that Willow and Harmony’s relationship with strained, and downright toxic at times. However, Harmony loved her “daughter” and despite her mom’s actions, Willow loved her too.

GH recaps recall Willow’s waiting room catnap. She dozed off at the hospital and was awakened by a disturbing dream. I’m the dream, her late mother Harmony came to Willow with a warning. Ever since General Hospital’s 9/29/23 episode, GH fans try to master lip reading as they try to decipher what Harmony mouthed to Willow.

GH Spoiler ???? Alert! After watching the clip over and over, I’ve come to believe that I figured out what Harmony said for the most part. “You can’t. You can’t. I’m warning you, Willow, you can’t trust.”

Harmony’s warning rattles Willow. She can’t seem to shake her mom’s warning regarding trust. Who or what can’t Willow trust? General Hospital spoilers indicate that’s when Willow confided in Nina regarding her dream of Harmony. Surprised, Nina is taken aback (in a good way) by the fact that Willow came to her to talk in the first place. However, soon enough the good vibes fade. Willow tells Nina what Harmony said in her dream and now Nina fears Harmony’s warning. From the looks of things, One of Willow’s mother’s is most likely warning her about her other mother, Nina.

See, Nina knows what she’s done and that’s why her secrets must stay buried. Because if Willow finds out then her chances at a relationship with her daughter are over.

There he threatens her life and says, “I’m walking out of here, and I’m taking her with me.” It’s unclear who is in the doorway when Montague makes his claim. Is whoever it is strong enough to stop him? Is this person even on Sasha’s side!?
