Dan O’Connor shed some light on what Alexis was dealing with and how Harmony’s friendship served as a coping mechanism. O’Connor explains, “Alexis is realizing that perhaps the friendship with Harmony was a coping device that has now outlived its usefulness, and this friendship is more toxic than she realized. Alexis has been willing to believe that Harmony has redeemed herself from her past horrific actions, but she may be in for a surprise when she realizes Harmony’s character has not changed all that much over the last few years.”
