Carly Spencer [Corinthos] (Laura Wright) has lost so much in recent years. First, she (thought ) that she lost her husband Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), due to a mob-related supposed death. Then, she received a miracle only to have him ripped away again. But this time, it wasn’t the mob who took him away from her and their family. Instead, it was a woman they all knew in Port Charles.

On top of that, Nina also friend Carly and her boyfriend Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC for insider trading. She’s torn down Carly for over two years now but Carly stands strong.

According to the latest General Hospital preview promo, Carly and her family suffer a devastating loss. Back in May, GH Blog heavy-heartedly shared the startling news of GH icon Jacklyn Zeman’s passing. Evidently, co-stars and other colleagues along the way were just as stunned as GH fans when they heard the news. Now, Jackie’s death was written into the script as Bobbie Spencer’s death storyline. GH spoilers indicate that Bobbie’s daughter Carly receives a phone call that no one ever wants. Sadly, she learns that her mother Bobbie has died.
Jackie was last seen in her role as Luke Spencer’s (Tony Geary) sister Bobbie (and so much more) on April 27th, 2023. Bobbie Spencer’s tragic storyline begins as General Hospital remembers the incredibly talented, kind, and brightly spirited Jackie Zeman. Jackie and her character Barbara Jean Spencer will be forever remembered and missed.
