It’s seems like forever and a day that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has had his eye on Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Once enemies but he admired her from afar, the two have come along way in their friendship and beyond.
General Hospital spoilers reveal just as Valentin was close to getting the girl, they’ve hit another bump in the road, derailing their path to romance. Now that Anna is suspicious of Valentin and is digging for answers, Valentine’s father, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) wants Anna off his son’s case. And we all know that poses a threat to Anna.

General Hospital recaps recall Valentin and Anna’s lives have been twisted up since their days at the WSB, before any on screen contact took place. Valentin became obsessed with Anna, and thinking he slept with her but it was really her twin Alex, created a confusing scenario among them.
James Patrick Stuart dives deeper into his insight as the where things will lead and end up between Valentin and Anna, and ultimately, the future looks grim.
Patrick goes on to disclose, “I just love the notion that it’s a love that was bordering on obsession for Valentin.” And went on to confess, “He had no business thinking that he could ever have her in his life. And yet circumstances have come into play that they find themselves staring longingly at each other and kissing from time to time.”
Will they get their happily ever after?

He isn’t saying that Anna and Valentin won’t ever get together romantically, besides their sporadic makeouts, he’s saying that they will get together but it’s doomed to fall apart. Patrick expresses his take and explains, “It better happen fast because reality will come crashing down and they’ll realize that nothing beyond infatuation exists,” he pondered. “There’s no way they’re going to live happily ever after.”
