Well my friends, today is March 5th, 2024. The last two months have felt like forever since we found out about Steve. On January 4th, 2024, ABC’s General Hospital surprised fans with the best post-Christmas gift. Steve Burton appeared unexpectedly alongside Kelly Monaco and Laura Wright. For the first time in over three years, Sam, Jason, and Carly were all together on screen. Right then and there we all knew that meant that Jason Morgan was set to return!
Fast forward and the day has come and gone. March 4th has been the most anticipated daytime television event in recent times, and now it’s over. General Hospital recaps highlight the best Monday in GH history. Steve Burton returned on screen as Jason Morgan. Fans have hoped and prayed for his return since his 2021 GH exit. Thankfully, our prayers were answered.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal Steve Burton’s emotional first day back on General Hospital’s set. Reportedly, the cast and crew of General Hospital are like family. So much so that they even refer to their cast-mates as “General Hospital family.”
It was emotional day for Steve, his GH family, and the dedicated General Hospital fans. Overall, the audience is beyond pleased with how Jason’s storyline began. Take a behind the scenes look as Steve reveals his emotional first day.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was betrayed by the three most trusted people in his life. Please take notice that I didn’t say “four” of his most trusted loved ones. That’s because his new wife, Nina (Cynthia Watros) was never on that level. Besides, she already cut Sonny deeply with her SEC antics.
This time, the mob boss was betrayed by his tried and true, the one who he betrayed after Nixon Falls. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), their son Michael (Chad Duell), and Sonny’s closest employee Dex went behind his back when it comes to his organization. However, their secret from Sonny was hardly a betrayal.
General Hospital recaps highlight the overly harsh and cruel punishment given to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Recent mob danger turns up the heat among the people of Port Charles as no one can be trusted. As a result, Dex Heller left Port Charles with no sign of ever returning. Josslyn Jacks was left distraught over losing Dex to Sonny’s selfishness.
Jason’s Returns and Brings Dex Home
Meanwhile, a mob war is underway and Sonny must deal with the true enemy without Dex’s insight. But what if GH rumors claimed that although Sonny banished Dex from PC and left himself to fight alone, the mob boss could eventually have double the protection.
Reportedly, General Hospital comings and goings confirm that Steve Burton has already been in the studio filming for a couple of weeks. Now it’s just a short waiting game until the big day. According to General Hospital news reports, Jason Morgan resurfaces on March 4th. Currently, there so much hype surrounding this storyline, Jason’s return, Josslyn, Dex, Michael, Sonny, and Carly.
The latest GH spoilers and rumors hint that Josslyn’s broken heart and spirit has a chance at revival. With heavy rumors swirling about Dex’s paternity, GH rumors tease that Port Charles is shocked when they lead that Jason is Dex’s father. If those rumors turn out to be true, Jason could have a hand in bringing Dex back home.
General Hospital Spoilers: BREAKING! Steve Burton returns to General Hospital as Jason Morgan
Confirmed! Big things lie ahead for the people of Port Charles. ABC’s 60 years of General Hospital brings drama, entertainment, fun, and family into our homes. Here’s to 60 more and beyond.
General Hospital news reports confirm Thursday night’s special television event showcased many memorable moments. From extreme spy adventures to soap opera style weddings, to love and loss, Port Charles has it all. Additionally, General Hospital and Port Charles has been home of the most iconic daytime television characters and their actor counterparts for 6 decades. Over the years, actors and roles comes and go but few are absolutely irreplaceable. Although the role of Jason Morgan was once recast, it was quickly learned that having anyone play Jason was not going to work as they’d hoped. Instead, Burton’s recast, the late Billy Miller, was written as Drew Cain. This left room for Steve Burton to return.
Steve Burton Returns to General Hospital as Jason Morgan
General Hospital news and spoilers reports that with Laura Wright and Kelly Monaco’s help, co-star and friend to these ladies, Steve Burton surprised fans with an announcement. GH recaps of the January 4th GH special event reveal that Steve Burton appeared at the end of the special. GH fans at home were in pleasant shock when Steve Burton announced that big things are coming to Port Charles. Reportedly, Steve confirmed that he’s filmed his last scenes over at Days Of Our Lives, hanging up the Harris Michaels role in Salem.
Can Josslyn trust Dex? There’s no question that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) are meant to become the next hot, super couple. Their chemistry is undeniable which sets the stage for the future success of the couple’s popularity.
It’s not every day the fans feel a certain way about a new couple in Port Charles. Some General Hospital fans compare Josslyn and Dex to iconic couples of the past. Obvious similarities have been found in couples such as Jason and Sam (Kelly Monaco), and even Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and her best friend Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Carly and Jason started out, hot and heavy, and ultimately became the best of friends. It’s uncertain what’s in store for Joss and Dex. However, what is certain is that GH Fan’s hope to see a passionate romance as opposed to friendship.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Josslyn’s vulnerability is heightened due to the fact that she feels completely comfortable around Dex. After all, he has saved her life over and over, making her feel safe in his presence. But just because she feels physically, safe, doesn’t mean her heart is safe.
General Hospital rumors claim Dex’s ulterior motives with Michael (Chad Duell) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will be the dark cloud hanging over his relationship with Joss. Recent GH previews reveal Dex makes a call as Josslyn hurries out to give Sonny a piece of her mind.
Previous General Hospital rumors claim that he’s not only in PC working undercover for Michael, Dex is in Port Charles for reasons that have yet to be revealed. Technically, Joss is deceived by her own brother and the man she’s fallen for. Although she shares her brother’s sentiments about Sonny, Josslyn won’t be happy to have been lied to.
Are Dex’s feelings for Josslyn real? Or is it all part of a grander plan?
Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) have been cleverly intertwined. Their undeniable chemistry and instant attraction mirrors that of something from the past.
General Hospital recaps recall how Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) understands her daughter’s reasons for helping Dex, and in turn, she was willing to help Joss help him.
General Hospital spoilers tease Joss and Dex have crossed paths to mirror the similarities between Joss and Carly. In addition, Dex and Jason are eerily similar. Fans have been calling Dex things like, “Sonny’s new Jason,” and “Jason 2.0.” Joss herself even called him, “no neck, and, “Sonny’s muscle.” That being said, we can’t help but think of a certain someone. Does Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) ring a bell? Of course! Joss and Dex are a lot like Carly and Jason. If history is going to repeat itself in its own new way, Josslyn follows in Carly’s footsteps. Joss reflecting a young Carly as Dex does Jason makes for a smart way to develop Dex’s story.
General Hospital rumors hint Dex is working for both Michael and Sonny for a reason. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) wants to take down his father Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) after he betrayed Carly with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). He secretly hired Dex to pose as Sonny’s trusted enforcer. GH rumors speculate Dex is ready and willing because he thinks Michael and Sonny both owe him something. He wants the father and family he never had and he blames Sonny for that. Dex thinks Michael is ungrateful to turn his back on his father when Dex himself never got to know his own.
Is Jason Really Dex’s Father?
General Hospital rumors and spoilers claim Dex is Jason Morgan’s son and he wants restitution for being robbed of the past. Given that Jason worked for Sonny for the majority of his life, his line of work took him away from family life. As a result, even his love life with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and their kids was severed. Ultimately, Jason chose working for Sonny over being a father.
GH rumors hint that Dex is Jason’s long lost son. Of course, with news like that comes many questions. Such as who is Dex’s mother. That’s yet to be determined, but anything is possible on soaps. He envies Michael for having a loving father to have cared for him into adulthood. Therefore, Dex resents Sonny having a family while Jason could not. Now that Jason is presumed dead, Dex will never her the chance to know his father.
As Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman) assessed her daughter Carly Cortinthos’ (Laura Wright) relationship with both Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and his brother Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), pointing how that no one will have Carly’s back the way Jason did.
General Hospital recaps recall Carly thinking over her current status with Jason’s brother, Drew, debating whether or not she should proceed with her feelings in the sense of a romantic relationship. Her mom was there to help out things in perspective, and when comparing Drew to Jason, Bobbie pointed out that Jason was Carly’s safety net, and that Jason would never turn his back on Carly and her impulsive choices. That doesn’t reign true for Drew.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Carly’s memories of being told Harmony’ Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) secret and being sworn to secrecy, she realized that Drew knows the truth as well. Carly has confirmation that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) biological mother, and Drew knows it.
General Hospital rumors suggest that Willow’s health crisis will bring the topic of her biological mother to the surface, promoting Drew to nudge Carly to tell the truth.
What happens if Carly doesn’t take Drew’s advice?
Carly has a mind of her own, makes her own decisions, and using her own logic. GH rumors suggest Drew will try to convince Carly to tell Willow and Nina what she knows. If things don’t go his way, Drew could possibly take it ipon himself to blow the lid off of Carly’s secret involving Nina and Willow.
Clearly Bobbie’s mention of Jason’s loyalty and how Drew wouldn’t be as accepting of Carly’s ways, is a way to pave a path toward the exposure of the big news.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) has been contemplating on whether or not she and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) should come clean about their sudden, rekindled feelings for one another.
Carly and Jason realized that their marriage would be much more than convenient, and admitted they love each other.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny has a strange feeling about the night he came home and found Carly and Jason in the bedroom. They told him it was their wedding night, which will now raise a big question.
General Hospital previews indicate that Sonny will ask Jason what was about to happen between him and his wife. Hell put the pieces together, knowing it was their wedding night, while standing face to face, alone in the room.
Although Carly and Jason are keeping a secret from Sonny, Sonny has a secret of his own. Are Carly and Sonny strong enough to get through the messes that were made while he was away?
As they say, no one ever stays happy on a soap opera, especially when it comes to love. Even the most iconic couples tend to come to tragic endings.
Laura Wright has worked alongside General Hospital’s leading man for over two decades. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his great love, Carly Corinthos, have become an iconic TV couple, ranking as one of the most loved, memorable, and popular couples in the genre.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal GH’s leading lady, Laura Wright has weighed in on her current story like situation surrounding Sonny’s return, and her rekindled feelings for her. Eat friend, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).
In a recent Fantasy Events Zoom event, Laura Wright and TV daughter, Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks), took time to speak to GH fans who joined the Zoom, engaging in discussions.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Laura weighed in on what’s to come for Carly and Jason. When asked by a fan if Jason and Carly would ever get back together, Wright replied, “You can always cross your fingers — and your toes,” Wright responded. “Yes, of course you can.” Whether or not Jason and Carly are ever romantic, their relationship is rock solid. “They have (Jason and Carly) a built-in relationship that’s always going to be there and I’m sure [on some level] will always be teased.”
Hi According to Soaphub, Laura also acknowledges the wide range of fan reactions regarding Carly and Jason rekindling their feelings. She mentions knowing that die hard CarSon fans are dead set against a Jarly pairing.
General Hospital rumors hint there will be a struggle with feelings as Carly is torn between her love for Sonny as well as her love for Jason.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Laura has strong feelings regarding the possibility of Carly and Jason becoming an item, as explains Steve’s involvement as Jason. She reveals, “Steve was amazing,” Wright says. “In my mind, Jason finally came over and was going to commit to one person. It was probably the person he should have committed to anyway because he always puts her first!”
Are you a die hard CarSon fan, or are you looking forward to Jason and Carly finally becoming more than best friends forever?
The sisterhood bond between Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was formed so that each woman knows that no matter what, these ladies have for each other’s backs. The female loyalty code is supposed to protect one another from themselves as well as any outside forces.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Nina confided in Maxie about her secret relationship with Carly’s (Laura Wright) husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She finally let her in on the story behind “Mike” and that she kept Sonny away from Carly and his family for nine months.
General Hospital previews indicate that Maxie’s sisterhood bond with Nina is compromised, but in Maxie’s eyes, it’s for Nina’s own good. General Hospital spoilers reveal Maxie is about to let Carly in on what she knows about Nina’s secret. Sonny hasn’t told Carly what kept him in Nixon Falls and away from her and their children for so long, but she’s about to find out.
General Hospital rumors expect Carly’s reaction to be of up epic measures when she learns about Nina’s revenge against her. Nina justifies her lies by blaming Carly, which set things in motion that never would have happened of Sonny was brought back to Port Charles when she found him. Nina’s about to face the backlash of betraying Carly Corinthos.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is alive and well and back in Port Charles, ready to reclaim what’s rightfully his.
General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny wants first things first, and the importance of removing his headstone, crystal clear.
General Hospital previews show Sonny passiona expressing to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) he’s no fan of seeing his own stone at the cemetery and asks to her is to get rid it, first things first.
General Hospital rumors claim that Sonny will go hard on making his comeback. He will want to make sure the money families are aware of his presence and maintains the position of power he was in before his disappearance.
GH spoilers and rumors suggest that Sonny could go dark in his quest to prove his power, and while dealing with all the feelings and memories left by Nina (Cynthia Watros), and struggles with knowing Jason married Carly (Laura Wright). Sonny’s motive to telecoms his power could cause an uproar in the mob world when he takes things too far.
