Cyrus thought he had Jason where he wanted him when he told Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) about to deal to turn over Florence, in exchange for having Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) retract her statement. Jason wasn’t about to lose leverage over Cyrus so he told Carly to get in contact with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
