Robin Scorpio Drake (Kimberly McCullough) and Jason Morgan (Billy Miller) manage to escape the blaze of glory that became of Crichton-Clark Clinic. Robin told Jason that they were able to escape because of him… they are alive and well and safely on the doorsteps of the ones they love. Robin instructed Jason to drive straight to Sonny’s house after she drove herself to the Metro Court to get in contact with her mother, Anna (Finola Hughes). She feared that if she and Jason went to their homes, they would be putting Patrick (Jason Thompson) and Emma (Brooklyn Silzer), and Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Danny (Corbin and Caden Rothwither) in danger. Just in case Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers) and her cronies were on their tales, Robin wanted to make sure that she didn’t put them in that type of situation.
At the end of Monday’s episode, we saw Robin banging on her Mother’s door at The Metro Court, and Jason approaching Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) doorstep, with his wife Sam inside. What happens next? Will it be this easy for Jason to reunite with the love of his life, Sam Morgan, and his best friend, Sonny Corinthos? Jason and Robin are so close to home that WE the fans can taste it. Could it be that we are able to see the reunion everyone has been longing for? …Or will something unexpected happen before Jason gets to present himself to Sonny and Sam?
It is so exciting knowing that Jason Morgan will be coming home to Port Charles! Billy Miller has taken on the role of Jason and will be arriving in Port Charles soon enough. Jason is married to his soul mate, Samantha. However, he has had deep connections and love with a few other women in town. Robin and Jason have been there for each other from the beginning. Robin has saved Jason’s life and Jason has done the same for her. Carly and Jason are best friends. Before Sam came along, Carly was always his number one girl. Even after Jason established a relationship with Sam, he and Carly remained best buddies, just not at Carly’s every beck and call. Elizabeth have a strong past and were once deeply in love. They shared a child together, who passed away in an unfortunate accident.
When Jason returns, will he still be in love with his wife, Sam, or will his heart belong to someone else?
General Hospital fans and actors are all abuzz about the brand new news regarding GH’s Jason Morgan. After months of speculation and drama, it has been confirmed that the role of Jason Morgan will be played by ex- Y&R star, Billy Miller. After Steve Burton left the role of Jason Morgan in 2012, fans have long awaited his homecoming to wife Sam and son Danny. Long time buddy Maura West (GH-Ava, ex-Diane Jenkins) tweeted a photo of her self with GH newcomer Billy Miller as General Hospital’s new Jason Morgan. These friends have been reunited! I doubt they will be friends in Port Charles. Ava Jerome isn’t too fond of her niece, Samantha Morgan, Jason’s wife.
After all the gossip, drama, and back and forth, the moment we all have been waiting for has finally arrived. It has been officially confirmed by ABC General Hospital’s own Executive Producer, Frank Valentini that the role of Jason Morgan has been recast, and that Jason Morgan will be returning home to Port Charles!
Frank Valentini confirmed via his verified twitter account that Billy Miller, (ex-Billy Abbott Y&R), will be joining the cast of General Hospital as legendary Jason Morgan.
Fans, we feel your pain. We are just as sick to death of the back and forth as you all are. Is Jason coming or is he staying dead? Is Steve Burton returning to play Jason, or will the role be taken on by Billy Miller from Y&R?
In his announcement regarding the new Fall ABC lineup, and the time change for General Hospital, General Hospital’s Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, has confirmed in an interview that Billy Miller (ex-Billy Abbott Y&R) WILL in fact be joining the cast of GH as the new Jason Morgan. He will be replacing the role that Steve Burton (Dylan McAvoy Y&R) played for 21 years. Valentini also explains that Jason Morgan will be heavily involved in the upcoming Fall story lines with the return of some iconic GH villains!
Wow! There is just no end to this vicious cycle of General Hospital spoilers, news, and rumors! Fans have been long awaiting the arrival of Daytime star, Billy Miller, ex-Billy Abbott on The Young and the Restless. The pull of the back and forth is like entertainment torture and just as dramatic as the fictional daytime drama.
A few months ago, TV Guide’s Michael Logan reported that Billy Miller signing with ABC’s General Hospital was a ‘done deal.’ Nelson Branco, writer for Soap Opera UNCENSORED revealed that Billy Miller has NOT signed a contract with ABC’s General Hospital, and he will NOT be joining the cast as fan favorite, the legendary, Jason Morgan.
It seems as if there is a General Hospital spoiler war going on between two reporters. Who is most likely to be correct? Do you stand by TV Guide’s Michael Logan and his statement claiming that Billy Miller has signed with GH and is joining as Jason Morgan? Or, do you feel that was all said to create hype, and that Nelson Branco is correct in stating that Billy Miller has not signed on with General Hospital to replace Steve Burton as Jason (Quartermaine) Morgan?
Since we do know that Jason Morgan is definitely alive and awake after seeing his arm emerge from the cryogenic chamber, who do you think will be playing Jason Morgan? He IS coming back, but sadly, we are still doing this dance of who is going to play the role.
The wise words of the lethal Victor Cassadine will forever reign true. Since the beginning of their existence on General Hospital, the entire family with the exception of Alexis and Nikolas have been pure evil. The apples don’t fall far from the trees in that family. The have been reeking havoc on the residents of Port Charles since August of 1981. From the Ice Princess to Helena’s infatuation with Luke, kidnapping Lucky and making it look like he died in a fire, to the current cryogenic drama we are seeing today, the Cassadines are limitless when it comes to evil and getting what they want. Victor has managed to con Robin into helping him “defrost” Stavros and Helena Cassadine with the incentive of saving her best friend Jason Morgan. Robin was under the impression that after Jason woke up, she would be able to take him to Sam and Danny. Victor has much different plans. He has sent Robin away and is planning on using Jason’s strength to brain wash him into being beneficial to him.
If Victor is successful into making Jason his own, it may be a while before Sam knows he is alive. Will Robin let Victor get away with this? Do you think Jason will be a different man with a new life or will he find his way back to his true love and family?
Other than the fact that we all know Sam is Alexis’ daughter, the writers rarely touch on the fact that Sam is indeed a Cassadine. Alexis Davis, born, Natasha Alexandra Cassadine, is the daughter of Mikkos Cassadine. Helena was married to Mikkos and she murdered Mikkos’ mistress Kristen Bergmen (Alexis’ Mother) right in front of her. Alexis was traumatized by what she witnessed and experienced severe amnesia. She was raised under the assumption that she was poor and was given the name Alexis Davidovich. This story, similar to a Cinderella/evil step mother saga is what made Alexis who she is today. She is a Cassadine, but like her nephew Nikolas, she is severely lacking when it comes to being an evil sociopath like the rest of them.
Now that we have had a bit of a history lessen, let’s discuss where Sam and Helena fit into all of this. Sam is on the case trying to find out what exactly happened the night of Patrick and Sabrina’s accident. Molly told Silas that Rafe revealed to her that someone put him up to running Patrick’s car off the road. Victor Cassadine admitted to Robin that he was the one who get a hold of Rafe and convinced him to cause the accident in order to keep Robin in line. While Robin is working diligently on bringing Jason back to life, she is also there under strict order from Victor to bring Helena and Stavros Cassadine out of their cryogenic state.
What if…
If General Hospital rumors play out, and Helena is actually awakened by the brilliant Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake, we know that Helena will be out for blood. Sam and Helena have had little to no interaction with one another in the past, even though they are both Cassadines. Since Victor has Jason, and Sam is his wife, will Helena want something from Sam before she can see her husband? It would be an interesting twist to finally see these two pinned against one another. Sam is a strong, capable woman but Helena is pure evil. Do you think Sam would stand a chance against the legendary villain?
If you think Helena and Sam would make a great rivalry, share your ideas and thoughts on how such a story should play out. We look forward to reading your opinions!
Whether you are a die hard Steve Burton fan and cannot even fathom the idea of a Jason Morgan recast, or you are just a super fan of the character Jason Morgan and are ecstatic for the role to be taken over by a new actor, now is the time for all those emotions to come to the surface and well, explode with excitement. General Hospital fans just cannot put this one down! The buzz has never been greater than it is right now circling the news and rumors regarding our beloved Jason Morgan. As we know, Steve Burton will not be reprising his role of Jason (Quartermaine) Morgan on General Hospital. However, we do know that Victor Cassadine has Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake working to being Helena, Stavros, and Jason Morgan back from their froze, cryogenic state. Despite what Robin told Patrick, that she failed and Jason is dead, we know that she lied just to protect him, Sam, and her family. Jason is very much alive according to the evil Victor Cassadine. Soon Jason will be saved by his best friend.
