General Hospital News: Maurice Benard Reveals Backstory To Sonny Repeatedly Poking Cyrus Renault’s Goon

Monday’s episode of General Hospital was nothing short of amazing. The emotions ran high- from humor and suspense, sadness and comfort, tradition, and new revelations… this episode had it all.

One element of this episode fans can’t get enough of is Sonny’s incessant poking of the man (working for Renault (Jeff Kober)) who made the call to Julian Jerome (William deVry).

General Hospital news reports reveal, in a series of tweets, GH star, Maurice Benard, went back and forth with fans regarding this memorable scene, explaining how it all came about. Basically, Maurice was being Maurice, having fun with his character, Sonny Corinthos, and decided to poke the man repeatedly, as a torture tactic. Well, Frank Valentini like it, and it was kept in the scene! That’s definitely one way to get the answers Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) were looking for! Ha!

Is this how it all ends for Julian Jerome (William deVry)? General Hospital actor, William deVry has been interacting with fans on Twitter, entertaining ways for Julian Jerome to be killed.

Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) along with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are the obvious choices if having to guess who will be the one to kill Julian. However, new General Hospital previews show a different angle.

Ava Jerome (Maura West) has always been there for her brother, Julian. She’s covered for him and lied, she’s hidden his unthinkable crimes as she has also committed a fair share of her own. But General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ava has had enough. Things are going well with her husband, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), and Julian planted a bomb which has severely injured, maybe even killed her sister in law, Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan).

In the brand new GH previews, a disheveled Julian is at the receiving end of Ava’s gun. Will Ava kill Julian to finally be rid of the burden of constantly covering up his messes?

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) are on high alert now that they were just blindsided by Cyrus Renault. their main goal is to protect their families. Jason figured this explosion was Renault’s way of putting a hit out on him, acknowledging that he himself is the target.

If it weren’t for Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) may have not been so luck. It was only a matter of time before her life decisions caught up with her. Sasha found herself getting involved with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), and it didn’t take long for things to go south.

She was at his apartment at the time, while Brando, who is working under cover for Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard) guarded the door. Since we know Julian is leaving the show, we know that his character is done for. But who will get to him first?
