Will Brook Lynn sing again?! Over two years ago, Brook Lynn Quartermaine suffered from a brutal attack that left her speechless. The songstress received devastating news from doctors after her throat was slashed by the town crazy.

General Hospital recaps recall Carly (Laura Wright) and Michael Corinthos’s (Chad Duell) worst nightmare. The late Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) went on a tear, destroying anything and anyone in her way. Amidst the behind the scenes chaos of the Nurses Ball, Brook Lynn threatened to call the cops on Nelle. Consequently, that’s when Nelle used fabric shears to attack Brook Lynn. Her throat was slashed, causing permanent damage to the vocal cords. Although BLQ’s speaking voice returned with time, the damage was too great to go forward with her singing career.

Will Brook Lynn Sing Again?

General Hospital news reports confirm Wally Kurth and Amanda Setton discussed their musical attributes during a recent Coastal Entertainment zoom event. Amanda opened up about working with her tv dad, Wally Kurth, a Ios a musical duo. During the event, a fan asked Setton if she and Brook Lynn shared the ability to sing. Amanda was happy to admit she can sing, however, she doesn’t sing professionally. “Yeah, I do sing,” Setton confirmed. “But I don’t l professionally sing, and I’ve said to Wally [Kurth; Ned] and Josh [Swickard; Chase] and this other great girl who is on the show right now who plays the role of Blaze and has an amazing voice and stage presence, she is like a firecracker, she is amazing. You have to have a real confidence, and if it’s just us, or we’re in a studio, I could definitely sing.

“But I do think there’s a different level of command over the material and over the craft that one needs to have,” she continued, “and a comfort that I don’t know that I possess. Brook Lynn is such a badass and such a confident woman, I wouldn’t want to do her a disservice, so it just kind of worked out…the storyline, how it’s going. If there’s an opportunity where her vocal cords magically heal, which I’m sure in General Hospital-land, anything’s possible, then we’ll see what happens, but for right now, I am grateful in that sense that it’s not the end all, be all for Brook Lynn, is her voice. I can play badass pretty well. I don’t know that I could play badass singer so great.”

Wally Kurth aka Eddie Maine Weighs In

General Hospital’s Wally Kurth weighed in; “If I have anything to do with, it will be singing together at a Nurses Ball in the future,” Kurth happily told fans. Both parties seem to be on board while expecting a time when Brooklyn’s vocal cords are healed.

Brook Lynn  wanted to spend the most optimal time with Chase, while furthering his music career and stopping Linc. As it turns out, her scheme to get everything she wanted backfired. She lied to Chase about helping him get reinstated at the PCPD and that became her biggest regret. Ultimately, lost the love she’d been working toward over her fixation on having it all.

GH spoilers reveal Swickard made it out alive, despite his concerns, admitting, “I don’t think anything bad, bad is gonna happen, I just don’t think it’s gonna be a great time,” the actor admits.

As it turns out, General Hospital spoilers reveal the Malibu triathlon was an “amazing experience.” Josh shared photos of the event and his accomplishments as his wife, Lauren, and daughter Savannah were by his side.
