Earlier this year Cameron Webber (William Lipton) for his heart broke when his childhood crush turned into his first real relationship. He and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) seemed perfect for each other. But sadly, appearances fade in time, and the true nature of the relationship is exposed.

GH Recaps: Although Joss and Cam’s relationship developed over time and through their friendship, they ended up growing apart romantically. Cameron went off to college on a soccer scholarship after Josslyn broke up with him for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer).

According to General Hospital news reports, William Lipton continues to make music in his band called The Runarounds. His project with Lighthouse Films has him starring in a series called, The Untitled Band Project. Webber’s status with the daytime drama is in question due to his successes outside of General Hospital. Reportedly, Lipton’s last appearance as Cameron Webber was on March 30th, 2023. Although he exited the role, GH news and spoilers clearly alluded to a future return. This Summer, General hospital spoilers and rumors teased that Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) son would return for the Summer. Now the Summer has came and went, and there was no sign of Lipton.

Fast forward a few more months and GH rumors claim that Cameron returns to Port Charles for the holidays. And the twist, he’s not the one who is broken-hearted. According to recent GH fan theories, Cam returns home with a new girlfriend, and Joss can’t handle it.

Drawn together and forced apart? Will Joss and Dex be together? It’s no secret the chemistry between Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is something of a magnetic force.

Just because two people are drawn to one another by undeniable forces doesn’t mean it’s meant to be. General Hospital spoilers reveal Josslyn and Dex can’t resist their attraction any longer. Although she is with Cameron Webber (William Lipton) the chemistry she has with Dex has consumed her thoughts. Joss finds herself doing exactly what she said Cam had done to her- but far worse. He kept secrets that were not his to tell, with the end goal focused on the well-being of a friend. Josslyn too is keeping secrets, however, hers are self-serving.

General Hospital rumors hint Josslyn and Dex keep testing the waters until they’re in too deep. She hasn’t yet broken up with Cameron, so every single encounter with Dex becomes a lie.

Cam isn’t the only thing standing in their way of pursuing a public relationship. Joshua Benard, son of GH star Maurice Benard, played the role of Adam. Adam was a fellow college student at PCU. At first Adam had made some inappropriate comments to Joss, then later apologized. Adam was last seen around Port Charles in early June.

General Hospital spoilers indicate Josslyn and Cameron are headed for a breakup. These two started out as friends and have gone from high school sweethearts to college lovers. They tested the waters with their other friends but found themselves to have a stronger attraction to one another.

At one point Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Cam has feelings for each other, but that changed when Cam began to have feelings for Joss. Trina has had a thing for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) ever since he arrived in Port Charles under a false identity.

“A lot of stuff has happened with her and Cam that has affected the relationship,” McCoy explained. She reflects on the trust issues that developed between them. “I don’t think things ever bounced back between them after the sex tape,” she continued. “You go through a trauma like that and dynamics change. They haven’t shared that same intimacy because I think Josslyn, and maybe Cam, still feels so scared and so violated and she associates being intimate with him with a scary thing now. Which is really hard to deal with when you’re 19-year-olds in a relationship and there are so many unspoken wounds.”

When it comes to the new guy in town, Josslyn’s attraction to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is undeniable. Josslyn is torn between guilt and justifying the situation. “I think she does feel guilty about it,” Eden confessed, “but I think she’s also a bit put out by Cam’s behavior. She’s constantly like, ‘Cam did this, so it’s fine that I’m doing that.’ I think it’s her natural tendency, because of her guilt, to try to justify her own behavior.”
