However, after General Hospital news and rumors started circulating, this date is now left up in the air. General Hospitals news and spoilers revealed the cast and crew would return to work on July 20th and new episodes would start airing nearing the end of August. Since it has been rumored that actress Kelly Monaco (Sam Morgan) may have been one of the two females who have allegedly tested positive for Covid-19. Kelly’s BFF, Shanna Moakler has confirmed to have the illness and it’s been rumored that the two women have been hanging out together.
Despite all the back and forth, ups and downs, and uncertainty, we keep faith in knowing that things will get back to normal, and General Hospital will soon begin again.

Julian Jerome (William DeVry) needs a love interest and fans out there think Julian and Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) would make a great fit. Apparently William DeVry, GH’s Julian Jerome, thinks so too. In a tweet directed at a fan, DeVry mentions that Julian and Liz have “the most epic ship name. But it’s R Rated.” DeVry doesn’t go on to elaborate- but a fan does.

Doesn’t DeVry know that couple “ship name” already has a history with General Hospital fans and dan wars? Here’s a little history lesson for those who may not know the back story… back in the day there used to be a much larger fan war between the Liz and Jason aka Liason fans, and Jason and Sam aka JaSam fans. The two fan bases battled it out over on the SoapNet Message Boards that night longer exist. The die hard Jason and Sam fans called the Liason fans, “Jizzers,” in a negative way to express their distaste for the couple.

Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has stirred the pot in Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) world yet again. His supposed mother has his back no matter what. Although Anna is a smart woman, she seems to be blinded by her “son” and refuses to believe he could do the despicable acts that many have brought to Anna’s attention.
Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Anna’s long time friend and partner, has tried to warn Anna that there is something off about Peter that he doesn’t trust. Anna and Robert discussed the possibility of Holly escaping death, but Anna warned Robert that she didn’t want to say anything until she had more solid information. The Covid-19 Pandemic has put our nation and it’s activity on hold. What was thought to be about a two week hiatus has turned into much more. The lock down and production hiatus was projected to last only about two weeks, which would have allowed episodes of General Hospital to air without any disruption. Lock down is still in place and the Executives at GH have incorporated flashbacks throughout scenes and Fridays are now repeat episodes in order to spread out the airing of new shows.

Molly and Brando had a one night stand just before she learned her TJ had been kidnapped by Cyrus Renault’s men as leverage over TJ’s mom. Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). When Sam (Kelly Monaco)came to Molly the next morning, Molly was in shock and she and Brando were still together. Molly hurried up and got ready to meet Sam downstairs, and that’s when she disclosed to Brando that she had a boyfriend and that they need to pretend what they did never happened.
