It is so exciting knowing that Jason Morgan will be coming home to Port Charles! Billy Miller has taken on the role of Jason and will be arriving in Port Charles soon enough. Jason is married to his soul mate, Samantha. However, he has had deep connections and love with a few other women in town. Robin and Jason have been there for each other from the beginning. Robin has saved Jason’s life and Jason has done the same for her. Carly and Jason are best friends. Before Sam came along, Carly was always his number one girl. Even after Jason established a relationship with Sam, he and Carly remained best buddies, just not at Carly’s every beck and call. Elizabeth have a strong past and were once deeply in love. They shared a child together, who passed away in an unfortunate accident.
When Jason returns, will he still be in love with his wife, Sam, or will his heart belong to someone else?
Sam told Patrick how important he is to her- how important he has been to her since Danny got sick. She said she couldn’t have gotten through it without him. He was there for her yesterday and all the time in between. Yesterday, he held her close and let her talk about how much she misses Jason and how up until now, she has felt like he is out there somewhere.
Sam has been there for Patrick throughout the years as well. He has her to lean on when it comes to Robin, Sam has given him advice about Sabrina, and she is helping him investigate everything that happened the night that he and Sabrina were ran off the road. Patrick called Sam his “adventure buddy” but it looks like there may be something more between these two besties.
Patrick has known for some time that there is a possibility Jason is alive. For unselfish reasons, Patrick has not told Sam. Now that he thinks Jason is dead, per Robin’s lie to protect her loved ones, will Patrick go after Sam romantically?
How far do you think Patrick and Sam will take their relationship before Jason comes home to Port Charles?
We have been watching Jason Thompson play the role of Dr. Patrick Drake for 7 years now. Since 2007 we have been able to recognize and appreciate his abilities as an actor. It’s always great to hear what General Hospital co-workers and TPTB think of our favorite stars.
In a recent article from Michael Fairman, he explains that in an interview on the red carpet for the 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards, Frank Valentini let him in on what Patrick Drake will be up to throughout this Summer. He gives kudos to Jason Thompson for his amazing portrayal of the talented, good looking, father of the year, Dr. Patrick Drake. Frank Valentini revealed, “A lot will happen with Patrick over the summer and into the Fall, and we also have Sabrina’s return. Jason Thompson is a tremendous actor who is constantly refining and reworking his craft. He’s always in class, and he is such a wonderful guy and amazing.”
Valentini also gave major props to other actors on General Hospital. He explain that when casting new actors, they do it very carefully in order to keep up with the incredible talent that already exists in Port Charles. He mentioned Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos Jacks), and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis). In response to a question asking about the casting of Maura West (Ava Jerome), Donna Mills (Madeline Reeves), and Michelle Stafford (Nina Clay), he stated, “We have a tremendous cast, and we choose everyone very carefully, because of the caliber of actors such as Maurice Benard (Sonny), Laura Wright (Carly,) and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) … you’ve got to bring in some pretty big guns to compete with them. You will see Donna Mills (Madeline) again this summer.”
Yesterday, General Hospital’s Kimberly McCullough (Robin Scorpio Drake) posted a little hint on Instagram. It looks as if Robin will be having a lot of upcoming scenes with her cousin Maxie Jones and some with Spinelli. How will these scenes tie into the custody battle between Maxie and Lulu for baby Connie? Lulu is accusing Maxie of murdering her cousin Robin when she accidentally had her purse latched to what ultimately caused the explosion Robin was in . (Or so they thought). Lulu went there. She was cold and calculating enough to drag Maxie’s ‘dead’ cousin into the courtroom to use against Maxie. Once they all learn Robin is alive, will it all blow up in Lulu’s face?

Wow, after that Anna/Dr. Obrecht shocker, whose to say what we are in for next! These recent story lines have been so intense and the actors have been doing such an amazing job conveying every single feeling and emotion into their stories. I don’t know about you, but I cried the entire time I saw Patrick, Emma, Elizabeth, and Robin on my screen. The whole time “Anna” was talking to Faison, I didn’t for one second think that it wasn’t really Anna. I loved the scene, and felt for Anna when she heard straight from the horses mouth that her daughter Robin was actually alive. Little did I know, it wasn’t Anna at all, but Dr. Obrecht in a mask. Faison has betrayed Obrecht and now she knows it. Faison was willing to tell Anna their entire plot and plan because he loves HER, not Dr. Obrecht. Disguised as Anna, Dr. O learned the harsh truth that Faison will always love Anna and will never return her feelings.
What will happen now that Dr. Obrecht knows Faison would have outed her and Jerry about Robin? I can only imagine she would be out for some intense revenge.
Now that Dr. Obrecht knows Faison will never love her and will always love Anna, will she reveal a secret? Who is Britt’s Father?
Will Robin make it home in time before her birthday is over?
“Luke Spencer Lives” is what Luke himself shouted out to Helena after she came to him in a near death experience. Luke is determined to live and we have every reason to believe he will do so. Not only because he is Luke Spencer and, but also because Robin is the one supposedly working on the cure. Luke is a legend and Robin is a brilliant doctor. His chances of survival are very high in my opinion.
In Olivia’s vision, she saw Luke lying in a casket but then awaken and say he needs Spanks. Will Tracy get to Luke? Will they find the cure, or the person working on the cure in time?
These two stories have been the most anticipated by fans in a very long time. Fans have been at the edge of their seats waiting for Dante and Lulu to discover the truth about baby Connie. The truth is finally out and Dante and Lulu will now know that Maxie is indeed the baby’s Mother!
Also, the return of Robin Scorpio Drake has been a long time coming. General Hospital fans have hoped and begged for the day Kimberly McCullough decided to come back to the show. The wait is over! Robin returns to General Hospital!
Kimberly McCullough will be returning to General Hospital this October to reprise her role as Robin Scorpio Drake, Mother of Emma Drake (Brooklyn Silzer), wife to Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson), and daughter to Anna DeVane (Finola Hughes) and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). McCullough has signed a contract with General Hospital.
In an interview with On-Air On-Soaps, Michael Fairman, McCullough explains that she was ready to come back to General Hospital for a few reasons. She mentioned that she is in her second year of directing school so her schedule is no as busy as it was when she had to leave GH. She also said that Frank and Ron have been building a story and laying the foundation for Robin’s return, and that time is now. Kimberly also made it known that she is very excited to work with all the vets she hasn’t had a chance to work with in a long time. Including, Ian Buchanan (Duke Lavery), Finola Hughes (Anna DeVane), Kin Shriner (Scotty Baldwin), and Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe), to name a few.
In the interview, Kimberly divulges information on what could happen with the story involving Robin, Patrick, Sabrina, Britt, etc. She also mentions the possibility of amnesia. For the full interview with Kimberly McCullough, please visit www.michaelfairmansoaps.com
This may be the answer to the fan’s questions regarding what will happen with Patrick’s love life when Robin returns. Here’s the scoop, Soap Opera Digest just revealed that General Hospital has hired a new actor to portray a man from Sabrina’s past that will drive a wedge between her and Patrick. Word out on the street is he is a trouble maker.
Assuming that this newcomer, Carlos, played by Jeffrey Vincent Parise, will want to be romantically involved with Sabrina, this could be the solution to the Robin, Patrick, Sabrina triangle. Fans have been waiting and waiting for the return of Robin Scorpio Drake, all the while some fans have grown to love Patrick with Sabrina. If Carlos (from Sabrina’s past) is out to win her heart, Patrick and Robin will have an open opportunity to pick up where they left off as husband and wife and parents to Emma.
