General Hospital Spoilers: Why Did Cyrus Kill Sam?
First, Kelly Monaco’s sudden exit left fans asking questions. Then, GH fans learned that Kelly Monaco’s role as Aam McCall was not only set to exit, but the character was to be killed. and then it gets worse because then Sam actually died. She died in such a way that not even a Phoenix can rise of from the ashes. So there goes the hope that Sam will someday have a Soap Opera revival. We all know why GH killed off Sam, but if you don’t then check out Kelly Monaco’s messages in the articles below!
Now that we know who killed Sam, many GH question Cyrus’s motive. Why did Cyrus Kill Sam? I think it’s pretty much obvious at this point. Although Cyrus killing Sam is completely out of left field (as many of the other whack storylines and out-of-character behaviors), it does make sense in a far fetched way. According to GH recaps, Cyrus prides himself on being a member of Laura Spencer Collins’ family. She’s shown signs of obsession when it comes to his sister Laura and her family. Remember, Cyrus tried to get close to Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) to no avail. Besides, everything he says to Laura about her family is downright creepy. Cyrus sat over Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) bedside and vowed to to whatever it takes to help her. Whatever it takes.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Cyrus took matters into his own hands. Since Lulu’s condition became hopeful, she had a second chance at life. Uncle Cyrus just wants to make sure that his never Lulu is happy. Even if that means clearing the way for her to get back with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). Like I said, far fetched. But hey, GH seems to be going that way lately. What do you think?
GH Spoilers and Rumors: Cyrus Renault dies a hero?
It’s only been a couldn’t years since Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) was surprised with two brothers she never knew existed. Cyrus Renault and Martin Gray come to Port Charles with a family secret. Today, Laura and Martin are far closer than Laura is with her other brother, Cyrus. The troubled man has caused his sister tremendous pain in such a short time, but he finally might be on the right track.
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Cyrus continues on with than thou persona. He insists that his newfound belief in the Lord has set him on a new path. As we all know, Laura wasn’t having it. At first, she didn’t believe him for a second, but now she’s not so sure. As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’s the one who got him to help law enforcement with a crucial investigation.
General Hospital spoilers indicate that the threat to Port Charles intensifies as law enforcement gets closer to finding the mystery boss. Things have become so dire that Anna has even looked to Cyrus for answers. According to General Hospital recaps, that’s when the former WSB Agent delivered a compelling argument. She then convinced Cyrus to use his spiritual reckoning for the greater good.
Has Cyrus Really Found God?
Every one is so quick to assume that Cyrus is full of sh!t when it comes to his self proclaimed redemption. But did anyone consider that he is actually telling the truth? GH recaps highlight how Cyrus helped Anna for the greater good. He agreed to help law enforcement get and were and he came through. Surely, it seems like he’s turned a new leaf. Recent GH rumors tease that Cyrus continues to do the right thing as his conscious is lead by God’s word.
No good deed goes unpunished as they say. So will Cyrus come face to face with his fate when he helps fight the enemy? According to recent GH rumors, the new Cyrus is out to help not hurt those he cares about. This is especially true when it comes to Laura. All he’s wanted is to make his sister proud. If Cyrus Renault dies a hero, then will Laura see him in a different light?
I’m gonna start off first by saying that I’m so disappointed in Spencer. I reviewed the situation in my head from every angle and I still believe that Spencer is completely in the wrong. Despite Esme’s checkered past and her memories floating to the surface, Spencer crossed the line. In fact, he committed a very serious crime.
Over the years the Cassadine family developed a Reputation🐍 for themselves. They’re known for their erratic behaviors at various degrees. That’s because not all Cassadine family members were created equal. Instead, they all have different levels of and forms of crazy. And over time, some sink deeper into the Cassadine darkness while others are lucky enough to find the light (i.e. Alexis Davis (Natasha)).
General Hospital recaps highlight Spencer Cassadine’s defining moment when he immersed himself into pure Cassadine culture. To be fair, Spencer has never really kept his side of the street all that clean. He has lied, schemed, and even committed crimes. But Spence and his loved ones put that in the past after he served his time. Eventually, things started to look up for Spencer. He started to become more comfortable with watching Esme raise his baby brother Ace (Jay and Joey Clay). Additionally, Spencer and Trina are still madly in love, and they plan to spend Trina’s semester abroad together in France.
Nikolas and Spencer Sentenced To Pentonville
According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, it’s quite possible that Trina and Spencer won’t get the chance to go to Paris together. Spencer lets Trina down yet again when his impulsive decision exhibits his inability to put others needs before his own wants. Let’s face it, Spencer didn’t need to do this. Aiding and abetting a kidnapping isn’t what anyone needs.
GH spoilers tease that Spencer feels the consequences surrounding all sides. First, he’s without the same little brother that he couldn’t bear to spend a moment without. Next, his grandmother Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) is fraught with the shocking news over Spencer’s actions. Finally, someone has to break the news to Trina. She and Spencer plan to indulge themselves in the wonders and romance of France, but GH rumors hint that this situation changes the course of their plans. Furthermore, GH spoilers tease that Spencer’s actions don’t just derail their France plans, but also his and Trina’s relationship.
GH recaps recall Laura’s reaction and the course of action taken to find Ace. Spencer’s grandmother implicates her own son when she calls the PCPD. She took the first step in finding Ace when she notified Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). At this post Laura hasn’t named names, but the Mayor of Port Charles is expected to play by the book. That means, if she implicates Nikolas, she’ll most like have to do the same with Spencer. It’s true that Spencer isn’t the one who kidnapped Ace. However, the involvement he has in this is ground for an arrest for aiding and abetting a kidnapping. I know this is poor Charles and all but it sounds to me like these two are headed for Pentonville.
Well, that was unexpected! In all honestly I was a bit thrown for a loop when Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) showed up at Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) bedside. She didn’t go to check up on him. Instead, Esme’s reason to visit Spencer’s hospitalized uncle has everything to do with her, not the recovering assault victim.
So, what made Esme turn to uncle Cyrus? First, Spencer’s ex-girlfriend and Ace’s mother doesn’t know where to turn. She doesn’t have a friend around and trust is a two way street with major roadblocks. GH recaps highlight how no one trusts Esme, and she doesn’t fully trust anyone. Despite Laura’s consistency, Esme questions her authenticity.
Moreover, logically Esme knows that it’s not Laura’s fault that she’s in this mess. Still, she’s viscerally fueled by her son having been kidnapped. That seems pretty normal, right? Yes! But is it normal to decide against police assistance when your child is missing?! No. That right there tells me that Esme is leaning more and more toward her evil bloodline. Esme 2.0 never would have put herself first while crying “Nik stole my baby, and Spencer helped!” She would have done absolutely anything, even if that meant self sacrifice. In fact, Esme’s already proven she’d put her freedom at risk when she agreed to Laura plan to confess.
On the other hand, the old (pre-pregnant parapet freefall into frigid waters) Esme wasn’t so selfless. Actually, she lied, schemed, and committed crimes as petty revenge. Prior to her amnesia, Esme was almost as cold and calculating as her father.
GH spoilers and rumors tease that the current Esme exhibits qualities (or not) from both versions of herself. Similarly, she and Cyrus have that in common. Two people who in their sudden rebirths practice exculpation as their most dependable life skill have come together. They’ve gone from downright bad, to exhibiting righteous preaching while simultaneously keeping that criminal mind. The only difference is that they know have reason to justify their terrible behavior.
GH rumors hint Esme and Cyrus become an ultimate force. Their mutual, evil-do-gooder mantra serves them well with their investigation into finding baby Ace and his father, Nikolas Cassadine.
General Hospital Blog has had our fair share of favorite villains over the years. As times change and villains come and go, we like to adapt with the current storyline. Although valid, it’s still important to give credit to our all-time favorite villains. Actually, a certain villain falls into GH Blog’s top 3 favorites of all time and is also currently a bad guy turned, well, he’s still bad.
General Hospital spoilers reveal our top 3 favorite GH villains. One of them is celebrating a very important milestone. James Franco as Franco is GH Blog’s #1 favorite troubled soul. Then, we have Manny Ruiz (Robert LaSardo). I don’t know but there is just something about him that makes the perfect villain you love to hate. Finally, we have the birthday boy, Jeff Kober! Today, our favorite villain turns 70 years old!
I did not know so I had to Google it but apparently a 70th birthday is called a platinum Jubilee! we want to wish Jeff Kober, aka General Hospital’s wannabe-vigilante, Cyrus Renault a very happy 70th birthday!
If you think Cyrus Renualt (Jeff Kober) found God, please think again. Most GH fans believe that he is lying through his teeth. Maybe at first, but now it’s safe to say that practically no one believes his newfound spirit. Surely, Cyrus has gotten about as close to finding God as I have to finding my keys when I’m late for an appointment.
Who would have thought that Cyrus and Nikolas Cassadine would work so closely together? It’s true, things aren’t always as they seem. According to General Hospital spoilers and rumors, Nikolas and Cyrus have more of a relationship than anyone imagine. However, not all relationships are good. Even those among family. Cyrus may very well be Nikolas’s uncle, but that doesn’t mean they have a good relationship. In fact, Nik’s long lost uncle is one of the last people he’d want to be in cahoots with.
GH recaps recall the tragic event that changed the Spencer family in an instant. That’s when Cyrus ordered a bomb to the Floating Rib and Julian Jerome (William deVry) carried out the attack. Then, in an instant, the incident landed Nikolas’s sister Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) in a coma.
Back in 2021, Nikolas threatened his big bad uncle after what happened to Lulu. Since then, Cyrus has had it out for Laura’s son. GH spoilers tease that Nikolas is working with Cyrus. To clarify, GH rumors tease that he’s working with him out of obligation, not by choice. This could be Renault’s way of getting back at Nikolas for threatening him back in 2021.
Cyrus most definitely has something up his sleeve. We know that Nikolas is connected to Mason (Nathanyael Grey) and Austin (Roger Howarth), while those two goons report to Nik’s uncle Cyrus. That leads fans to believe that Cyrus is in charge of his nephew too. Remember when Cyrus had Martin give all of his l key away? Well, maybe since jikolas has money, Cyrus figured he can bank on that. That said, GH fans want to know who wants to buy Wyndemere. GH rumors tease that it’s Cyrus, but he uses Nikolas’s Cassadine fortune. But what will Nik get out of it? Nothing, or did he and Cyrus somehow form an alliance and put their differences aside?
Cyrus sends Austin a message! Initially, Laura didn’t believe Cyrus when he told her that turned a new leaf and found God. Surely her brother didn’t have some sudden epiphany after the things he’s done. Or, did he?
Like Laura Spencer (Genie Francis), fans are getting whiplash, thinking about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Is he or isn’t he? A bad guy. A good guy. A good guy who does bad things. Repeat. Honestly, he’s been pretty convincing with how he’s always reciting Bible verses. Even Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) found sincerity in the new and improved Cyrus. However, GH recaps recall one particular scene where Cyrus flipped the script again. Now that he’s in the hospital instead of Pentonville, Cyrus has more outreach. His conversation with Dr. Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) left fans questioning Cyrus’s intentions.
According to GH spoilers and rumors, Cyrus knows more about Austin and his family than Austin ever wants exposed. In yesterday’s scenes, it’s apparent that Cyrus sends Austin a message, no, more like a threat. “May the Lord Bless you and protect you. And your family,” is what Cyrus said as Austin walked out of his hospital room. Evidently, that comment rattled Austin to the point that he couldn’t hide it. What all does Cyrus know about Austin (and his family ????)?
Would a changed man seemingly threaten another? Was that Cyrus said to Austin a true threat?
Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) got more than she bargained for after finding out she had two half brothers who have been living very different lives.
Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) has had the misfortune of growing up with their brother, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), while missing out on getting to know his sister, Laura. It was too much to expect that these three siblings would have a happy little family when one of them lives a life of crime and violence.
General Hospital news and spoilers confirm that Cyrus Renault’s return to Port Charles will play a role in many aspects of Laura’s life, starting with her grandson, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez).
General Hospital recaps recall Cyrus confessing to a Laura that he has found a new path in life and is now a follower of God. He goes around reciting bible quotes and preaching to all who are near to listen. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Cyrus may not be bluffing when he says he’s a changed man. Cyrus has stepped up for his sister’s grandson, Spencer as he was about to face what life in Pentonville has to offer. But just because Cyrus is no longer preying on the innocent, but it doesn’t mean that his life of violence is behind him.
General Hospital rumors and spoilers suggest that Cyrus is putting a new label on his behavior, attempting to seek justice through making the bad guys pay the price.
Laura Spencer has dismissed her brother’s new way of life as just another game Cyrus is playing. When Laura learns how Cyrus helped Spencer out of a sticky situation, will she be able to trust that he had Spencer’s best interest? GH rumors and previews suggest Spencer isn’t out of the woods just yet, while more threats come his way as prisoner in Pentonville. Spencer needs protection. Will Laura appoint her brother Cyrus as the man for the job?
