At this point it’s pretty obvious that Sonny has moved on from Nina (Cynthia Watros). Lately, she hasn’t even crossed his mind. On the other hand, Sonny’s living rent free in Nina’s mind. Meanwhile, Sonny spends most of his time with Ava Jerome (Maura West). So much so that Michael (Chad Duell) and Carly (Laura Wright) are suspicious of her motives.

According to GH spoilers and rumors, Sonny’s next leading lady isn’t who most of us expect. Many fans have hoped for a CarSon reunion since Nina swept in and stole him from Carly. Eventually, I think that Sonny and Carly will find their way back to each other. GH rumors hint that it’s not going to be that simple. Now that Sonny and Carly are both on the market, it’s unlikely they’ll limit themselves to each other. True, Things may not have worked out between Sonny and Nina, and Carly and Drew, but that doesn’t mean Sonny and Carly will get back together so soon.

Lois and Sonny go way back, Ava and Sonny are two peas in a mobster pod. Then there’s Natalia. The new woman in town whose daughter is dating Kristina. Despite her snarky comments, Sonny and Natalia seem to be hitting it off. And of course there’s Carly. She and Sonny are the IT couple of Port Charles, and many GH fans have shipped them for decades.

GH news confirmed that Mesure joined the General Hospital cast on December 1st, 2023. At the time he was Port Charles’s newest mystery man. His frequent stops into Bobbie’s led GH fans to jump on a potential pairing for the new guy. Almost immediately, l Hopelessly, romantic, General Hospital fan, saw the natural chemistry between Brennan and Carly Spencer. He became smitten with Carly and proceeded to charm her. Despite having been with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) at the time, she seemed to want to reciprocate.

Eventually, he revealed himself as Mr. John Brennan. But before fans could rally get to know the new guy, his name changed from John to Jack. The change caught fans by surprise so they turned to the social media platform X for answers.

The change as has a devastating impact on Drew’s relationships, especially his own relationship with Carly. Sadly, his no nonsense approach at life left him unavailable to deal with Carly’s infatuation with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). In his mind he knows that no one will ever compare to Jason in Carly’s heart, so he bolted before he was the one left standing alone.

General Hospital star Laura Wright joined the legendary cast in 2005. She had big shoes to fill, and sometimes GH fans tend to express their opinions with vehemence. It’s not easy for recasts as they have to live up to a certain standard. According to past GH comings and goings news, Wright was the fourth actress to take on the role of Carly Corinthos.

First, Sarah Joy Brown originated the role and it was unimaginable to think of anyone else playing Carly. Then, Tamara Braun came along and GH fans were captivated by her raw emotions while portraying Carly. Sadly, Braun left General Hospital as well. Finally, Jennifer Bransford briefly stepped into the role before Wright took over in ‘05.

Reportedly, Laura has played Carly for nearly 19 of her 30 plus years in daytime television. Furthermore, shes worked alongside Mathison for about two years, according to recent GH news reports, Laura Wright reveals that Carly and Drew’s breakup scenes are her favorite scenes between herself and Mathison. Wright tells Soap Opera Digest, “I think they are the best scenes I’ve ever had with Cameron, ” Laura Wright confessed. “It’s some of the best work I’ve ever seen him do. According to General Hospital news, Laura Wright’s recent interview with Soaps In Depth gives a deeper glimpse into Jason’s return. “It takes her breath away,” Wright admitted. “She’s walking up the stairs and she hears him say, ‘Carly’ and then she just turns and sees him and it’s like, ‘Oh, my God, Jason. Is it you? Is it really you?’ And he says yes and she runs into his arms — and then she realizes he’s been shot.” Carly immediately goes into panic mode. “She’s like, ‘Oh, my God, oh, my God, you’re hurt,’ ” recounts Wright. “And there’s this great moment where she says, ‘I have a First Aid kit,’ and she goes to leave and she stops and she’s like, ‘I don’t want to leave you.’ She’s afraid he won’t still be there, like, ‘Is this real?’ She’s like, ‘Promise me you won’t go anywhere.’ And he’s like, ‘1 promise.”

When Carly returns, “She’s trying to fix the wound and she says, I wish I could call my mom’ And he goes, ‘No, don’t call Bobbie. And she looks at him and she’s like, ‘I can’t. She died. And he’s like, What?! It is so, so good. That’s a heartbreak for Jason, to know he wasn’t there for Carly when it happened. I’m crying, he’s got tears in his eyes – and then the doorbell rings and it’s the police. ‘Open up the door!'”
