Franco’s Gift to Carly…

Franco wins hands down in the battle of deceit with his significant other, Carly Corinthos Jacks. Carly has tried to pull the wool over Franco’s eyes and make him believe her lies about what she’s been doing with Sonny. Franco on the other hand has successfully pulled off deceiving Carly. He has led her to believe that he has bought into her deception, and sees her as the doting bride to be she wants him to believe she is.

Franco gave Carly a necklace with a nanny-cam hidden inside so that he is able to track her every move, and spy on everything she does, especially with Sonny.

Did Carly create a monster, or just ruffle the feathers of an already unstable man? When something sets Franco off, will he turn to his old psychotic ways?

By the way…Is this not the ugliest necklace you have ever seen?

Who Does Jason Belong With?

It is so exciting knowing that Jason Morgan will be coming home to Port Charles! Billy Miller has taken on the role of Jason and will be arriving in Port Charles soon enough. Jason is married to his soul mate, Samantha. However, he has had deep connections and love with a few other women in town. Robin and Jason have been there for each other from the beginning. Robin has saved Jason’s life and Jason has done the same for her. Carly and Jason are best friends. Before Sam came along, Carly was always his number one girl. Even after Jason established a relationship with Sam, he and Carly remained best buddies, just not at Carly’s every beck and call. Elizabeth have a strong past and were once deeply in love. They shared a child together, who passed away in an unfortunate accident.

When Jason returns, will he still be in love with his wife, Sam, or will his heart belong to someone else?

Franco Helps Ava

It looks like Franco is up to some of his old tricks. He can blame the brain tumor all he wants for his actions in the past, but he won’t have an excuse for how he is about to betray Carly.

Ava and Franco have a past. The two were ex-lovers and recently, Ava led Franco to believe that Kiki was his daughter. Ava and Franco are far from being friends. She tried to kill im as a matter of fact, and ended up shooting Olivia Falconeri instead.

However, in this week’s turn of events, Franco will be assisting Ava in taking down Sonny. Ava asks him for his help and he obliges. Franco sneaks onto Carly’s laptop. Ava is hoping that he will be able to retrieve the recording that incriminates Sonny in the killing of AJ Quartermaine.

What will Carly do when she finds out Franco is sneaking behind her back to take Sonny down, with Ava nonetheless? Can she forgive Franco or will this lead her straight into Sonny’s arms (and/or bed)? Haha

Executive Producer Frank Valentini Tells What’s in Store for Patrick Drake

We have been watching Jason Thompson play the role of Dr. Patrick Drake for 7 years now. Since 2007 we have been able to recognize and appreciate his abilities as an actor. It’s always great to hear what General Hospital co-workers and TPTB think of our favorite stars.

In a recent article from Michael Fairman, he explains that in an interview on the red carpet for the 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards, Frank Valentini let him in on what Patrick Drake will be up to throughout this Summer. He gives kudos to Jason Thompson for his amazing portrayal of the talented, good looking, father of the year, Dr. Patrick Drake. Frank Valentini revealed, “A lot will happen with Patrick over the summer and into the Fall, and we also have Sabrina’s return.  Jason Thompson is a tremendous actor who is constantly refining and reworking his craft.  He’s always in class, and he is such a wonderful guy and amazing.”

Valentini also gave major props to other actors on General Hospital. He explain that when casting new actors, they do it very carefully in order to keep up with the incredible talent that already exists in Port Charles. He mentioned Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos Jacks), and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis). In response to a question asking about the casting of Maura West (Ava Jerome), Donna Mills (Madeline Reeves), and Michelle Stafford (Nina Clay), he stated, “We have a tremendous cast, and we choose everyone very carefully, because of the caliber of actors such as Maurice Benard (Sonny), Laura Wright (Carly,) and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) … you’ve got to bring in some pretty big guns to compete with them.  You will see Donna Mills (Madeline) again this summer.”

General Hospital’s 51st Anniversary Preview

You want to know what will be happening on this special day? Today marks General Hospital’s 51st anniversary and it will be loaded with General Hospital history. For starters, we will be able to take a stroll down Carly lane with the three actresses that have played the character over the years. Sarah Joy Brown originated the role in 1996,later to return to General Hospital in a much different role as Claudia, daughter of mobster Anthony Zacchara. Tamara Braun took over the role of Carly until the current actress, Laura Wright has become the Carly we know today. All three women are extremely talented and have made fans fall in love with Carly three times over. Executive Producer Frank Valentini weighs in on Carlypalooza by stating, “We like to try and take advantage of the history of the show, and in honoring the history of the show, we not only honor the characters, but the actors, We have come up with a fun way for the audience to get a chance to see Sarah and Tamara again.”

Valentini also talks about their strategy for celebrating the 51st anniversary as a whole.  He explains, “We’re trying to make sure we mine the entire field of rich history that is GENERAL HOSPITAL as opposed to repeating some of things we’ve done. Instead of competing with ourselves, we didn’t want to repeat ourselves. The anniversary episode is really, really special, and there are many, many fun surprises for the audience and many nostalgic moments for them to enjoy.”

The entire anniversary month of April will be packed with history and excitement. Look for Maxie’s return to Port Charles and her encounter with a new guy named Levi. Monica is visited by loved ones, someone gets shot, and Luke’s lies are catching up with him. Don’t miss GH’s 51st anniversary month.

We have all been warned that today’s episode of GH is not to be missed! Tune in today for the 51st anniversary at 2PM Eastern on ABC!

General Hospital: The Return of the THREE Carlys!

General Hospital is about to mark it’s 51st Anniversary! This year, on APril 1st, there will be an episode dedicated to all things Caroline Benson, or as we like to call her now, Carly Corinthos Jacks.

Sources are uncertain on whether these comebacks will be in the form of flashbacks, dreams, or if the actresses themselves will be gracing us with their presence as another character on the show. Either way, we will get a taste of each one in the Carly filled episode that is part of General Hospital’s 51st anniversary special.

Sarah Joy Brown, Tamara Braun, and the current Carly, Laura Wright, have all done an amazing job as Carly. General Hospital Blog looks forward to seeing what the producers at General Hospital have in store for the fans.

Head Writer Ron Carlivati Tweeted a picture of Maurice Benard and all his “Carlys” in anticipation for the big Carly episode on GH’s 51st anniversary, this Tuesday, April 1, 2014.
