Laura smells a rat! Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) has been running the show in Port Charles while Mayor Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) was away. Now she’s back and ready to do what it takes to stop him. Laura plays Victor for a fool with her new strategy. 

When the cat’s away the mice will play, as they say. Victor had been taking full advantage of the Mayor’s absence. Things are about to change now that Laura has returned to Port Charles. General Hospital spoilers reveal Laura is on to Victor’s scheme.

Laura left Port Charles to tend to her mother Leslie Webber (Denise Alexander) in her time of need. She helped her mom get settled after losing her home to a suspicious fire. Laura suspects Victor had a hand in that to distract her from the current state of affairs.

Victor isn’t the only one Laura suspects. General Hospital spoilers indicate the Mayor is well aware of the fact that her assistant, Eileen Ashby is working undercover for Victor. She’s been feeding him information and Laura is about to turn the tables.

GH rumors and spoilers tease Laura sniffs out a rat as she pegs Eileen Ashby as Victor’s spy. Laura gets clever and feeds Eileen false information that will lead straight to Victor.

General Hospital Spoilers: Lesley Webber In Danger As Cyrus Plans Kidnapping

What do you say, elderly mom for elderly mom? Carly found Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) weak spot, and it was basically handed to her in a silver platter by Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis).

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) took action against Renault as a way to protect her family while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is missing. Carly needed leverage to ensure her family’s safety, but Renault is taking his mama drama out on his sister, Laura.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Cyrus will stop at nothing when it comes to protecting and caring for his mother, Florence. Although Laura had nothing to do with her disappearance, and she is indeed Cyrus’ sister, those facts don’t matter to Cyrus. General Hospital spoilers indicate Laura’s mom, Lesley Webber (Denise Alexander) is in great danger. He already threatened Laura and told her flat out that their sibling connection won’t help her if she doesn’t materialize Florence ASAP.

General Hospital rumors claim that Lesley is in danger and possibly at risk for being kidnapped by Cyrus as sort of a mom for a mom type revenge. Carly has no plans on returning Florence, and until she does, Lesley is a target.

Carly is grieving as she continues to believe Sonny is gone. It’s likely Carly won’t think rationally, and refuse Laura’s request to return Florence. GH rumors claim things could escalate from there. Even after Sonny is found, his amnesia will add to the drama.

General Hospital News: Denise Alexander Returns To GH As Lesley Webber

A lot of drama is going on in Laura Spencer’s (Genie Francis) life. Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is at the root of all Laura’s recent troubles, especially since learning Cyrus is the reason Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan) was caught in a mob war and ended up in a coma. As if that wasn’t enough, Laura soon after found out that Renault is actually her half brother, along with Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight).

General Hospital news reports the return of Denise Alexander, reprising her role as Lesley Webber, mother of Laura Spencer.

General Hospital spoilers reveal Lesley’s return will add to the drama of an already escalating situation between Laura and her newfound brother, Cyrus. Cyrus made it clear that if Laura doesn’t materialize his mother from wherever she’s being hidden, despite being siblings, he will show no mercy.
