Lois knows about Gio and Brooke Lynn?! Last week,Brook Lynn Quartermaine dropped a bombshell when she referenced her first pregnancy. Her mom Lois was there for her in her time of need. As a teenager, Brook Lynn got pregnant and gave up her baby after giving birth. Now, she worries that her past is the reason she and Chase are struggling to get pregnant.

According to General Hospital rumors, the look on Lois Cerullo’s (Rena Sofer) face says it all. Recently, GH fans learned that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) has been pregnant before (for real this time). All of the talk with Chase about having their first child has BLQ reflecting on her Bensonhurst days. She was young and unprepared at the time she became pregnant, but thankfully she had her mother’s full support when she gave her baby up for adoption. But how much does Lois actually know about her daughter’s pregnancy and the birth of her grandchild?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that there’s another element to Brook Lynn’s secret. Adorable Gio Palmieri (Gio Mazza) dazzled his cousin’s wedding guests with his exquisite violin playing. Gio seemed to know a decent amount about the Bensonhurst and Port Charles friends and family connections. And when he came to Port Charles, he fit like a perfect puzzle piece when he moved into the Quartermaine mansion. It was almost like he was the missing piece that no one knew was absent. GH rumors tease that Lois has known that her grandson has been right under their noses for his entire life. Sadly, Gio’s parents were said to have died. His father Francis Palmieri passed away before he was born, then, he lost his mother Camilla when he was just ten years old. Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Chase continue their journey to parenthood. Typically, telling Brook Lynn how to live her life is her grandmother’s M.O., not Lois’s.

Recently, two things changed in Brook Lynn’s life which have made for an overall positive adjustment. First, her mother came to town from Bensonhurst. Then, Brook Lynn’s granny took a hike. These two events seem to have positive effects on Ned and Lois’s daughter.

Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) just had to be with her Brookie after learning about her recent professional drama. See, Lois only had bits and pieces of the story that she learned from news outlets. But she quickly learned where the root of her daughter’s troubles. As GH recaps recall, it’s BLQ’s granny Tracy that had Lois’s daughter all upset.

Thankfully Lois arrive just in time before things between Tracy and Brookie got even worse. In addition, Lois’s miracle work extends past putting her ex mother-in-law in her place. Finally, Brook Lynn’s world started to calm down once Ned dropped the whole Eddie Maine shtick. She has her best friend and Ma to thank for that as well.

However, it looks like BLQ’s state of contentment is short lived as something rocks her boat. According to General Hospital spoilers, Granny Gloria addressed marriage with Brook Lynn and Chase. My how time flies! It’s coming up on 4 years since Amanda Setton joined General Hospital. She made her GH debut as Brook Lynn Quartermaine on November 18th, 2019. Setton has since built a large fan base as the new Brook Lynn.

Now, four years later and GH fans are rooting for this young woman. Amanda has undeniably made this role her own after taking over from Adrianne Leon. Many years are between Leon’s GH exit and Setton’s debut. Reportedly, Adrianne Leon told Soaps Opera Digest in August of 2019 that she’d be happy to reprise her role as Brook Lynn Quartermaine. However, GH cast Setton in the role just a few months later.

BLQ has come a long way since her life as Ned (Wally Kurth) and Lois’s (Rena Sofer) daughter began. It’s an exciting time for Setton’s character, Brook Lynn, aka BLQ! The Quartermaine family dysfunction is at a high point, but it’s nothing unfamiliar. Instead, the Q’s embrace the chaos and dysfunction. It’s almost like they need it to survive. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Lois’s return plays a major role in BLQ’s life. Consequently, the effects extend to other family members as well. Changes are ahead, starting with Brook Lynn. Setton reflects on BLQ’s storyline when she and Maxie did whatever it took to protect baby Bailey Lou from Maxie’s crazy baby daddy, Peter August (Wes Ramsey). She admitted, “I think that whole maternal scheme transformed Brook Lynn and softened her and showed us a completely different side of her,”

It was BLQ and Maxie’s bond, along with the song and dance she’s doing with Chase that contributed to the start of something new. “She has that trust with Chase and doesn’t really have it with anyone else,” Setton said. “She can’t trust her grandmother. “She’s sort of in this transition time,” she clarified, “but, you know, she’s still got her grandmother’s streak in her! She’s reformed, but she’s still Brook Lynn Quartermaine.”

Then, in 1993 Rena Sofer landed the role of Lois Cerullo from Bensonhurst, on General Hospital. The role became wildly popular as Lois Cerullo brought strength and sass, and a “don’t mess with me,” vibe.

Previously, GH spoilers and rumors speculated about Sofer’s (potential) return after news reports confirmed her Bold and the Beautiful exit.
