For us over at General Hospital Blog, this one is a no-brainer. However, there have been many General Hospital fans who have been arguing the opposing side. There have been countless debates in General Hospital Facebook groups such as Loyal General Hospital fans, arguing for and against each party. Here is what we think…
I’m just going to lay it out on the table, nice and bluntly. Dante was just diagnosed with foot in mouth disease. Seriously, I mean, how stupid should he feel right now? Jumping to the assumption that his wife, Lulu, would immediately jump into bed with her ex, Dillon Quartermaine just days after he arrived back in Port Charles, I mean, come on! Does he not know his wife at all? After all they have been through, dating, through marriage, and through trying to conceive little Rocco, does Dante think Lulu would throw that all away at the drop of a dime? Apparently, he does think that, and it’s actually what HE ended up doing. Yes Lulu lied to her husband, but lying to protect her brother’s life doesn’t even come close to justify being cheated on.
The opposing side, those who blame Lulu, claim that she is at fault for not trusting her own husband. When will Dante (and the fans) realize that this ISN’T about Dante? Certain situations have a great way of exposing people’s egotistical mind set. Dante just had to make this about HIMSELF. God forbid he put himself in Lulu’s shoes, and tried to understand that her own brother’s life was at stake, and that her parents made her swear not to tell a soul, especially a cop. The risk was just too great. If anything had happened to Lucky because Lulu felt the need to feed Dante’s ego and let him in on the secret, life threatening situation, that would be an awful burden for her to bare for the rest of her life.
Not only did Dante ASSUME his loving, devoted, wife, his partner in life, was screwing around with her ex-boyfriend from her teen years, he then tried justifying his continued anger with her due to the fact that “she lied.”
As stated before, this to GH Blog is a no-brainer. Dante should have waited to confront his wife before acting out on what he THOUGHT his wife had done to him. Was this just an excuse for him to get with Valerie? Deep down, did Dante want a reason to sleep with Lulu’s cousin?
We won’t go that far as of yet, but we do feel that Dante is reaching. Now Dante must justify his betrayal to himself and he is coming up with an excuse for his behavior. He is even throwing Luke into this argument. He is displaying feelings of jealousy toward his father-in-law, and his wife’s devotion to helping him. Dante has some serious insecurity issues that he needs to address STAT, in our honest opinion.
We want to know what the fans think! Are you #TeamDante or #TeamLulu?
Luke and Laura’s adventure has barely just begun… They have to rescue Luke’s sons, Ethan Lovett and Lucky Spencer, but that doesn’t look like it will be the end of their quest. General Hospital co-stars and fans of Tony Geary have been preparing for his big farewell from General Hospital, as he is retiring from the show. His character, Luke Spencer is involved in his last adventure with his great love, Laura (Genie Francis). Everyone is tangled up in this story line as Luke and Laura set out to save their son Lucky (Jonathan Jackson). Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) was contacted to lure Luke and Laura, and mke them aware that Lucky has been captured. We will soon be seeing Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons) involved. Lulu (Emme Rylan) is currently in Port Charles awaiting any information on her brother. Tracy (Jane Elliot) was left broken hearted, in order for Luke to get his son back before it’s too late.
This story will mark Tony Geary’s last air date on General Hospital. That date has now been revealed as July 27th, 2015.
We have less than one month left with the iconic character Luke, and legendary actor Tony Geary on our favorite soap. Geary is excited to begin a new chapter in his life, and we at General Hospital Blog will miss him and wish him all the best.

In the last few weeks, General Hospital Blog has been able to share exciting casting news with the fans due to recent General Hospital spoilers. This Summer will be one for the books, and it will involve an iconic General Hospital family. GH casting news and spoilers have revealed that there will be quite a few character returns for Luke Spencer’s big send off story.
ABC’s General Hospital teases fans with an intriguing, upcoming story. This Summer will lead to “An Epic Spencer Adventure,” according to those over at GH. As we say goodbye to a legend, Anthony Geary will be accompanied by Luke’s closest loved ones. Jonathan Jackson (Lucky Spencer), Nathan Parsons (Ethan Lovett), and Emma Samms (Holly Sutton), will be joining Genie and Anthony as Luke and Laura set out to save their son, Lucky.
If Jennifer Smith, Frank Smith’s daughter doesn’t really have Lucky, then who does? Jennifer told Luke and Laura that she received a phone call with instructions to go about the scheme she pulled on the Spencer’s. Who could it be? If you have any thoughts or theories, let us know in the comment section.
We can’t wait to see how this story will unfold and we are certainly looking forward to seeing Nathan, Jonathan, Emma, and more to bid farewell to Luke!
After the tragic ordeal that drove Luke away from so many loved ones, he is finally feeling like himself again. He is on the right track, trying to make things right with the ones he loves. His daughter Lulu, and his love, Tracy, are first on his list.
Luke is ready to spend the rest of his life with the woman who adores him, who has stood by him despite all the things he has put her through. She was there for him when others weren’t, she believed in him when others doubted him. But now, the woman who has his past, his adventures, and his children is back. Laura Spencer, the love that made television history, Luke and Laura has a chance to reinent itself. Who will Luke choose? Will Luke choose Tracy, the one he currently loves, who saw him through his hardest times? Or will he choose Laura? The one who stole his heart many years ago.
As Anthony Geary prepares for his exit from General Hospital, there will be many surprise guests coming back for the big farewell. Luke and Laura’s son Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) will return, as well as Holly (Emma Samms), and their son, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Parsons). Prepare yourself for many twists and turns, and definitely some tears.
Keep watching GH’s sizzling Summer to find out what will come of Luke Spencer and his two great loves.
This Summer is going to be BIG for the people of Port Charles. General Hospital is losing a legend, and the residents of Port Chuck are losing a father, grandfather, a husband (sort of), a friend, an enemy, and much, much more. Things will never be the same in this fictional small town once Anthony Geary retires and takes Luke Spencer far away from his family and friends. Geary has given General Hospital 37 wonderful years and he is deserves a send off to go down in history.
General Hospital executives have already started leaking the names of GH fan favorites that will be returning to Port Charles as part of Luke’s farewell story. General Hospital spoilers have confirmed that Genie Francis and Emma Samms will be arriving in PC as Laura Spencer and Holly Sutton this Summer. GH rumors have leaned toward the return of Luke’s two sons, Nathan Parsons as Ethan Lovett, and Jonathan Jackson as Lucky Spencer, yet there hasn’t been official word of this GH casting news.
Word is that there will be more GH fan favorites making their way back to General Hospital this Summer to say goodbye to Luke Spencer. Luke’s long time friend Robert Scorpio played by Tristan Rogers has been rumored to be on his way back. Although he is currently on Y&R, it has been known for Rogers to make cameo appearances on GH during his work on The Young and the Restless.
Who else should make a come back to General Hospital for this Summer’s big event? Let us know who is important and essential in saying goodbye to the legendary Luke Spencer.
Get ready for the Summer of General Hospital that you will never forget. As we all say goodbye to a legend, fans and cast members alike will come together to wish GH’s biggest star, Anthony Geary, farewell. A couple months ago, General Hospital Blog reported to you that Tony Geary had announced he will be retiring from General Hospital and leaving the show for good. Geary’s character Luke has been in and out of Port Charles for years, making his adventure story lines that much more intriguing and mysterious. As we learned the deep, dark, history of the Spencer family upbringing, Lucas Lorenzo Spencer’s entire character came full circle. Anthony Geary felt that at this time, it is the perfect time for him to hang up the many hats he wore while playing the funny, caring, free spirited, selfish, loving, cynical, (and much, much, more), man that was Luke.
This Summer we will say goodbye to Luke Spencer, and we will have many GH favorites to help with the sad time. General Hospital spoilers have revealed that, along with Genie Francis, Jonathan Jackson will return this Summer to reprise his role as Lucky Spencer, Luke’s son, along with Lucky’s half brother, Ethan Lovett, played by Nathan Parsons. The two young men are set to tape their scenes at the end of June.
For almost a year, General Hospital fans have been battling with their brains, (and the writing team over at GH), trying to wrap their heads around this entire ‘Fluke’ story line. For many months there have been General Hospital rumors and speculations in regard to who is impersonating Luke Spencer. We the audience know that Helena has him locked up, has had him kept away from his family and loved ones, and he has been continuously drugged.
GH rumors have pointed the finger at many past and present characters and villains. Bill Eckert, Cesar Faison (which we know now was only a decoy), Jerry Jacks, Anthony Zacchara, Larry Ashton, to name a few. Still, there are too many holes in those theories for the vast majority of the fans to settle on one.
When Faison was in the interrogation room with Anna, he brought up Helena and how the two of them kidnapped Lucky and tried to condition his mind. Why did he bring that up? There is reason to believe that it was more than just to torment Anna with the possibility of her being under his spell and fall in love with him. Anna knows better. He tried that with her in the past, and it didn’t work. Faison went on to question whether or not Helena has perfected the art of mind control. This entire back story about Lucky gives good reason to believe that Helena is up to some old tricks.
What if ‘Fluke’ doesn’t actually exist? In the physical sense that is. Perhaps Helena has in fact perfected her art of mind control. We have seen the result of her conditioning so far in Jason Morgan. She tells him what to do and he goes out and does it. He later forgets that a certain series of events ever took place, and he forgets that Helena was ever involved. Now, that being said, what if Fluke is all in Luke’s head? Earlier in the year, when Fake Luke was acting “off” in Port Charles, that could have been because Helena’s mind control still needed a little work. Now that Fluke is back, and acting more like Luke than before, it’s possible that Helena just needed some more time to perfect her hold on Luke Spencer’s mind.
It’s entirely probable that Luke Spencer takes orders from Helena, and doesn’t remember what he has done once his tasks are through. Could Luke have an alter personality due to Helena’s mind control? At this point in the story, anything is possible, even playing around with the idea that Fake Luke isn’t another person at all. Is Fluke just Luke under Helena’s mind control?
Weigh in and let General Hospital Blog know what you think about this theory.
