Sonny’s most memorable enemy REVEALED! …I’m not sure how I would take it if I was given that title. Actually, never mind. Being named Sonny Corinthos’s most memorable enemy is nothing short of an honor. Especially if that’s what you were going for all along.

Undoubtedly, Sonny has had the cream of the crop when it comes to top tier villains. Over the years, all of Sonny’s enemies gave him a run for his money. From Frank Smith to Faith Rosco (Cynthia Preston), Manny Ruiz to Anthony Zacchara, Sonny’s had his mob work cut out for him. And of all the men and woman who’ve ever had it out for Sonny have tried and failed. But there is only one “the boss” has named his most memorable enemy.

As you know, Maurice Benard is currently on tour. Maurice Benard: The Milestone Tour, is hitting the east coast and mid-west areas. In the past GH fans have expressed their interest in seeing Maurice at fan events outside of his own region. However, it became widely known that Maurice was never a big fan of flying. Understandably, this issue served as an obstacle for Maurice and fans to connect.

Maurice Shares Most Memorable Enemy

Well, fast forward to present day, and Maurice has overcome so much! In 2023 his determination overpowered his fears and he hopped on that place in March. It was the first time flying without his wife, Paula. Naturally, with every experience brings one more at ease with the situation. Maurice is bigger than his fears and it shows. I for one am particularly grateful for this milestone as he finally paid a visit to good ole Detroit (technically, Royal Oak).

That being said, we have some GH spoilers to share- straight from the mobster’s mouth. Thursday night’s event drew General Hospital fans together for an evening with the iconic Maurice Benard. There he spoke to fans about his passions, vulnerabilities, told jokes, laughed and even teared up. During his show, fans were able to ask questions. That’s when someone asked Maurice who he considered to be Sonny’s most memorable enemy.

It didn’t take the family man with a gangster’s alter ego long to spill the tea. The last three decades provide ample opportunities to choose the his biggest villain since each and every one has left a mark. Ultimately, General Hospital Blog reveals that Benard hands Ted King aka Alcazar (Luis and Lorenzo) the honorable title. The early 2000s was wild with mob drama in Port Charles. From 2003-2007, Alcazar was Sonny’s biggest threat… and apparently he left a mark!

General Hospital Spoilers: Maurice Ad Libs As Alcazar Inquires About Sonny And Mike

If you follow General Hospital’s, Maurice Benard on social media, you’re well aware of his humor and desire to keep smiles on the faces of his fans.

In a recent but expired Instagram story, Maurice Benard’s humor shone through as he as libbed a scene from the syndicated CW series, Charmed. The scene starring Shannen Doherty and General Hospital’s Ted King (Lorenzo/Luis Alcazar) fit perfectly with Benard’s hilarious fictional story using a voice over convey his message to GH fans.

General Hospital news and spoilers revealed Maurice Benard’s thoughts on playing Mike currently as opposed to the iconic mob boss, Sonny Corinthos. He mentioned how he enjoyed the change of pace as Mike, but assured fans that Sonny would be back soon.

In the video below of the expired IG sorry, Benard uses his voice to Ted King’s scene, asking the women (Doherty) all about Sonny and Mike.

General Hospital spoilers and previews disclose Sonny will make his way home to his wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), and family very soon as things with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) gets complicate over in Nixon Falls.

Here’s to hoping Sonny will soon leave his Mike persona behind and return to his roots. He’s much needed in Port Charles as Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is making life dangerous for the entire town.

Ted King Ready to Return to General Hospital

Lorenzo Alcazar helped Carly deliver baby Morgan when she went into labor. But he wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows. He was bad. Very bad. His twin brother, Luis was even worse. In 2002 Luis Alcazar came to Port Charles with one main goal, to be responsible for the demise of Sonny Corinthos.

Luis Alcazar has a laundry list of criminal offenses which include but aren’t limited to the following: Keeping the beautiful Brenda Barrett captive for about 4 years, convincing her that she was mentally ill. All the while he was drugging her. He caused the death of Alexis’ sister Kristina by blowing up Sonny’s house. Alcazar also tried to kill Zander Smith when he threw him overboard… There are many more heinous crimes where those came from which ultimately led to his death. Alexis killed Luis in self defense by pushing him off a balcony.

In 2003, Ted King returned to GH as Luis’ brother, Lorenzo Alcazar. He played this role until 2007 and left quite a mark throughout his time in Port Charles. Lorenzo was a lot like his brother when it came to his reason to be in Port Charles. He wanted to take Sonny down and would stop at nothing until that happened. Lorenzo was responsible for kidnapping Sonny, sleeping with Carly, kidnapped Spinelli and Lulu and ordered a hit on them, kidnapped Sonny’s sister, Courtney, and the list goes on…

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Ted King tells sources that he is ready to return to General Hospital. After accepting a role on One Life to Live as Tea Delgado’s brother, Tomas, the show was prematurely canceled and Ted King was out of a job. On coming back to GH as Alcazar, King tells a source, “There’s a lot to work out logistically. They teased the audience about a year ago with bringing him on, but that’s up to Head Writer, Ron Carlivati and Executive Producer, Frank Valentini. I certainly know that those guys are creative enough to figure it out.”

Could Lorenzo come back to Port Charles after being shot and killed by Sonny’s hit-man Jason Morgan in 2007? Stranger things have happened in this town.
