Robert Gossett joined the cast of General Hospital on October 18th, 2021. He took on the role of Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) father, Marshall Ashford, as the two men work through their troubled relationship.
Marshall as been hiding the truth about his past and the reason he abandoned Curtis and the rest of his family all those years ago. Curtis is having a hard time trusting his father, which lead Curtis to deceive his dad with the help of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Recent General Hospital comings and goings reports confirmed that Gossett landed a contract role on the daytime drama, as his current character, Marshall Ashford. However, General Hospital previews indicate that Ashford has announced he will be leaving Port Charles.
General Hospital spoilers reveal fans need not worry, Gossett is still on contract with GH. Marshall is fed up with trying to prove himself and didn’t appreciate being ambushed with a fake interview by Drew and Curtis. Most likely Marshall will either take a quick breather from Port Charles, or he won’t even leave at all. Rest assured, Marshall isn’t really going anywhere!
