This is all a game where Jagger arrests Kristina and traps Sonny.

GH recaps recall how Agent John Jagger Cates ambushed Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) daughter as she was leaving the hospital. Conveniently, the arrest came after Cates and Ava Jerome (Maura West) conspired against her. Agent Cates even admitted that those photos can tell any story they want. Unfortunately for Kristina, Ava and Agent Jagger Cates spun the story to make her look like the perpetrator. Now it comes down to a he said- she said situation. It’s Kristina’s word over Ava’s and the photos give an illusion that validates both theories.

According to the latest General Hospital spoilers and previews, Jagger’s plan puts Sonny right where he wants him. Agent Cates has set up the perfect crime so that when Kristina goes down, Sonny goes down with her- or instead of her! GH rumors claim that Sonny either goes after Jagger and trips up- landing himself in Pentonville, or, gives himself up to the FBI to free Kristina from Cates’s trap. As a result, Sonny himself lands in Jagger’s trap.

General Hospital recaps highlight the nature of Sonny and Kristina’s relationship. Over the years the Port Charles mobster has revealed his softer side. He’s a family man by nature, but his work brings out the cunning business man in him. Together, Sonny’s good heart and fearsome business tactics make for an ominous atmosphere. The ones closest to him are those who are the most in danger. That’s because anyone that gets too close to Sonny runs a higher risk of becoming collateral damage- or a straight up victim.

Ultimately, being kidnapped, assaulted, or worse is not out of the norm if you mean something to Sonny. That’s why he’s always stressed about not wanting his children near the business. Michael came the closest to joining the mob, and still displays mob-like behavior when necessary.

Later, Molly, TJ, and Kristina learned that the baby girl she was carrying didn’t make it.

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is in hot water. Currently, the ex-mobster sits in Pentonville awaiting her fate. Ava is the prime suspect in the death of an unborn baby after Kristina’s body was launched out of a Metro Court hotel room window. Thankfully, Sonny’s daughter survived. Finally, not until later on did Sonny confide in Ava while pushing Carly and Jason away.

As Taylor Swift says, “I wounded the good and I trusted the wicked.” That’s exactly what happened when Sonny told Ava that she’s the only person he can trust, while tearing down Carly and Jason. Mistakenly, Sonny leaned on and confided in a former mobster. But you know what they say, once a mobster, always a mobster. Just kidding, I don’t know if anyone really says that. But seriously, GH has taught me that it’s pretty hard to leave the business.

GH recaps recall a brief overview of the Jerome family in relation to organized crime. First, Olivia Jerome died in 1990 at the hand of her own brother. And in true soap opera form she resurfaced nearly thirty years later in 2017. That’s when Olivia ordered the car bomb that ended Morgan Corinthos’s life. Ava had a hand in Morgan’s death as well, becoming another enemy of Sonny’s.

Moreover, Ava and Sonny have come along way since what she did to Sonny’s son. She and Sonny are on the best terms they’ve ever been since Morgan, and the birth of their daughter, Avery.

General Hospital rumors speculate that Ava and Sonny’s newfound closeness is all a ruse for her plan. Right now Sonny is wary of people he once called his most people. He’s turned his back on Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) because of the lack of transparency about the FBI. As for Carly, Sonny has tossed her to the wind once again.
