General Hospital Spoilers: Mason Learns His Lesson, Carly Comes Through For Olivia AND Ava?

Carly takes care of Mason for Olivia… and Ava?! …Often times people become intimidated in the presence of a confident, strong person. Undoubtedly, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) exhibits those qualities. She’s not afraid to speak out, stand up, and step in. And if you’re lucky enough to be her friend, she’ll always have your back. In fact, Carly will even smash a bottle over someone else’s back if they try to mess with anyone she cares about.

Needless to say, Carly is one tough cookie. She’s loyal and stands by her friends. And that’s exactly what she did for Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). GH recaps recall Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) all over Olivia, inside that dive bar. One thing led to another, and Carly stepped in when she was needed. Then, she hit Mason over the back of the neck and his, causing him to fall to the floor. Seemingly unconscious, Mason was subdued. Thanks to Carly (and Eddie), he won’t be bothering Olivia anymore!

It’s obvious, Ava and Austin’s relationship is complex. What started out as friendship turned into partners in crime. Eventually, the two became intimate, and now all the lines are blurred. According to General Hospital news and spoilers, Maura West spills the tea on Austin and Ava! In a recent interview, Maura shares her inside take on what’s happening between the doctor and the lady mobster. Reportedly, Maura tells Soaps In Depth some critical hints about how Ava is handling Austin. “When somebody knows a dark secret, in her words, you either have to kill them or you’re sort of at their mercy,” she explained of her character. “I mean, those are her options. And she’s sort of at his mercy. And at the cousin’s, too — she’s at Mason’s mercy.” So, does that mean that Ava either remains the puppet, or she kills for the upper hand?

Additionally, GH spoilers reveal that Ava isn’t ready for a relationship with Austin. Tjay doesn’t necessarily mean she isn’t ready for any relationship. However, when reflecting on Ava and Austin’s adult playdate, Maura disclosed how Ava felt about the whole thing,. “Yeah, she was not expecting that,” Maura shared. “She’s not ready for that relationship. She’s not sure she wants that relationship! But, you know, there’s something irresistible about that Roger Howarth that comes through into Austin!”

Currently, he and Ava do what they can to protect their daughter Avery. Despite their rocky dynamic, Carly and Ava are equally involved when it comes to their children. They’re able to work together most of the time for the sake of Donna and Avery.

Not to mention, the only reason she’s with this man is because she took advantage of his tragic accident. She used his amnesia to her benefit, kept him from his family, and built their romance on lies. Somehow, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has pulled off the impossible. She managed to hold onto the man she betrayed, and is still bffs with Ava after kidnapping their daughter.

General Hospital previews indicate a sizzling hot last half of Summer. As mob drama becomes increasingly prevalent, Nina feels more out of place in Sonny’s life than ever before. As it becomes more dangerous for Ava and Avery, Sonny takes charge and assures Ava that he’s got this covered. Despite her newfound connection to Austin, Ava’s number one priority is her daughter, Avery Corinthos. Understandably, that makes Sonny a priority. However, this is soap opera world and anything is possible. While GH recaps remind us that Ava is actually helping to it against Sonny, we can’t help but miss how that makes sense. He could say he was at the wrong place at the wrong time but according to Ava, he was right on time. Austin helped her move Nicholas’s body and hide away in a locked room in the castle. From then on, Austin and Ava begin to develop a deeper stranger bond. Admitting lean for Ava, their relationship is partners in crime who slept together once. However, it seems like more for Austin. Meanwhile, as Austin and Ava do or don’t catch feelings, Mason (Nathanyael Grey) and a mystery boss controlling their every move.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Mason’s next order displays Ava’s loyalties.
