Despite keeping him from his wife Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Nina managed to stay in Sonny’s good graces. Michael blames his father for splitting up their family, and Nina for being a home wrecker. This devastating shift in Michael’s family has lead to obsession with destroying his father.
