Oddly enough, Sonny thinks he’s fallen for his captor. And now they plan to ride off into the sunset.

Sonny Buys Nina’s Pity Party, But It’ll Cost Her In The End

Nina’s little sob fest was a manipulation tactic to get Sonny on her side. Once again, she played victim as she cried wolf. Then, Sonny’s random marriage proposal took the audience, as well as Nina, by surprise. Although she’s yet to answer him, we should probably just assume that she goes forward with the engagement with her secret hanging over like a dark cloud.

Neither party should have to jump through hoops in hope for peace. In relationships, family dynamics play a major role in the health of the couple’s relationship. Gracefully, Drew suggested that Carly testify against him because he sees no way they both can get out of this. And of course, Carly feelings are reciprocal to Drew’s sentiments. Thanks to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Michael and Sonny have began to repair their broken bond. Her wish for peace could only be granted by her husband. So, he fulfilled he request and offered Sonny a truce. Moreover, Willow’s wish for peace extended to her own mother, Nina, and her new mother-in-law, Carly. If Michael and Sonny can find away to put aside their differences, there shouldn’t be a reason why Nina and Carly can’t do the same. Or, as one would thing. But it’s obvious that Nina struggles with how she handles herself in certain situations.

The 50th annual Daytime Emmy Awards Postponed! As ABC’s General Hospital reaches its 60th anniversary, the daytime television as a whole meets it’s own major milestone. According to the latest daytime tv news, this year marks the 50th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

Originally, General Hospital news and spoilers indicated that the Daytime Emmy Awards was scheduled to air on June 16th on CBS. But GH spoilers reveal that due to the writer’s strike, everything is put on hold. The celebration requires professional writers to write the witty one liners and the host’s overall dialogue. With the WGA on strike, supporters and picketers complicate matters. More importantly, attendance might be very slim due to the support shown to the writers.

Daytime Emmy Awards Postponed

June 16th is right around the corner and we already bought our popcorn for the IG night. Sadly, General Hospital news reports confirm that the Awards show has not been cancelled. However, a new air date has yet to be determined, and is dependent upon a resolution for the WGA strike.
