General Hospital’s Maurice Benard
Maurice Benard is a three-time Daytime winner for his role as Sonny Corinthos on ABC’s General Hospital. Benard joined the Soap Opera in August of 1993. Since then Port Charles has never been the same. Organized crime has become an ongoing problem on the local and even Federal level.
The Port Charles Police Department has their work cut out for them when it comes to PC’s most prominent mob boss. When he first arrive in 1993, Sonny was law enforcement’s number one priority. Today, the fact remains that Sonny gives the authorities a run for the money. He’s been arrested and detained, and even put on trial. But the PCPD and the Feds have yet to stick the landing.
Is Josslyn Jacks pregnant?! Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) feels the aftermath of her decisions. She handled her feelings and everything that happened in the best ways she could. Josslyn dealt with her feelings about Cameron Webber (William Lipton) too late and things got messy.
General Hospital recaps recall Josslyn was read the Riot Act by Cam after she confessed to sleeping with Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Cameron asked Joss if she slept with Dex prior to breaking things off with Cam. Reluctantly, Josslyn admitted to being unfaithful to the guy she called her best friend.
Dex was proactive in going to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about the night of Joss’s hook attack. However, he wasn’t exactly forthcoming with the whole truth. Consequently, General Hospital spoilers tease Sonny is bound to find out about Dex’s secret relationship with Josslyn.
Is Josslyn Jacks Pregnant?
GH rumors suggest that Joss’s choices create turbulence in the mob world. She and Dex have been sleeping together after giving into their undeniable chemistry. She managed to convince Cameron to keep her relations a secret, however, that becomes more difficult when Joss makes a shocking discovery. A pregnancy inevitably complicates a situation already full of secrets and uncertainties.
Nina is headed for a breakdown! General Hospital previews and spoilers reveal devastation hits the Corinthos and Quartermaine families. Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) newfound status as Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mother is a revelation she never expected. The news comes with a vast array of emotions, mostly negative.
Nina blames Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) for the breakdown of her relationship with her daughter, Willow. Her insufferable victim mentality may have Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) fooled, but many can see Nina’s true colors.
General Hospital recaps recall just weeks ago, Nina talked Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) off the kedge. Grief stricken by losing her daughter, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), Liesel was ready to do the unthinkable. She blames Esmé Prince for taking Britt’s life and was ready to obtain her pound of flesh.
General Hospital spoilers reveal the shoe was on the other foot when Nina’s anger toward Carly drove her to admit her dark desires. “I could kill her,” is what Nina said to Aunt Liesl, followed by her want to make Carly pay. Liesl tried to talk her down, however, more bad news is likely to ignite a fire within Nina. And all that rage is for her one true nemesis, Carly Corinthos.
Michael receives devastating news. …Devastation hits the Quartermaine/Corinthos families as Willow’s life becomes a ticking time bomb. Her only chance at survival is a bone marrow match- but will anyone come through?
Emotions run high as General Hospital spoilers indicate a family in crisis. The Quartermaine and Corinthos families are beside themselves over Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) condition. GH recaps recall a glimmer of bittersweet hope when Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) revealed that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is Willow’s biological mother. Despite all of the turmoil between them, the fact that Nina was a potential match gave them hope.
Unfortunately, Willow and her loved ones hit another major roadblock. Thankfully, Willow has a strong support system. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is right by her side through it all. General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael receives devastating news about his fiancé and future mother-in-law; they are not a bone marrow match. Nina won’t be the one to save Willow’s life, and they are back to the drawing board.
This week on General Hospital, Willow’s life hangs by a thread as doctors are running out of options. Is Willow running out of time? Do not miss a moment of this emotional week on General Hospital. Catch new episodes Monday-Friday at 2pm eastern on ABC!

Joss comes clean to Cam! Cameron Webber (William Lipton) never expected Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) to be unfaithful. Ever since they were children, they’ve cared for, been there for, and trusted each other. Never did he imagine she’d lie like this.
General Hospital spoilers reveal now that Cam came face to face with the truth about his breakup with Joss, she has some explaining to do. GH spoilers and previews indicate Joss comes clean to Cam. Standing in shock, Cameron comes right out and asks Josslyn if Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) is the real reason they broke up. Apparently, Josslyn admits to cheating on her childhood sweetheart and then proceeds to plead with him. She knows that if Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) finds out Dex is sleeping with Joss, there will be hell to pay.
General Hospital rumors hint Sonny isn’t the only one to fear when it comes to her secret relationship with Dex. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) put his trust in Dex and the last thing he wants is his employee sleeping with his sister. GH rumors tease Dex is hiding more than anyone suspects.
What is Dex hiding? He has quite the plan when it comes to thnewr future and his employment status with Sonny. GH recaps recall Dex telling Joss he’ll let her in on everything in 6 months at the time his employment with Sonny is over. But what exactly will he divulge?
GH fan threatens Cynthia Watros! The rivalry between Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is as real as a fictional rivalry between two CHARACTERS can get. However, one fan wants to take it to the streets with the actress who plays Nina.
The hatred between Carly and Nina is evident but the love between Laura and Cynthia is just as apparent. Amidst the on-screen drama between Sonny Corinthos’s leading ladies, General Hospital news reports confirm Laura and Cynthia’s real life relationship is nothing like that of their characters.
Nina and Carly are much different than Cynthia and Laura
Now more than ever, the storyline between Carly and Nina has fans hyped up. GH recaps recall Carly finally came clean about Nina and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) after learning that Willow’s life is at stake. The lies and revelations have fans pointing fingers; mainly at Nina. Recently, General Hospital stars step in to have her back when a GH fan threatens Cynthia Watros.
General Hospital spoilers reveal one fan’s tweet caused Laura Wright, Lydia Look, and Liz Vassey (ex- Emily Ann Sago, AMC), stepped in to defend Watros. The fan tweeted, “Listen… I’m afraid if I saw Cynthia Watros on the street, I would punch her in the face for messing with Carly!” The fact yhat the actresses name was used as opposed to using, “Nina,” is unsettling. Watros wrote, “Really,” while Laura Wright replied, “Not if I was there,” in her friend’s defense. Another GH co-star weighed in. Newcomer Lydia Look (Selina Wu) tweeted, “You are a magnificent actress, and it’s a shame one can’t separate the actress from her role,” she wrote. “You have my mad love, respect and support. In your corner always. Shine on, sister.”
Finally, Liz Vassey shared her personal experience with a fan who took things too far. She tweeted, “Man oh man. I got [a tweet like that] once from someone who hated me so much on CSI that he hoped horrible things happened to ‘everyone I loved,’” the AMC star recalled. “Who knew my portrayal of a fictitious DNA tech could hold so much power over someone?!
Please remember that, no matter how frustrated we are as a character or a storyline, these are actors doing their jobs. Taking things to the streets and lashing out at the actress who portrayed these roles is unacceptable. Sit back and enjoy the show.
Willow rejects Nina! It doesn’t matter to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) that she finally knows her birth mother. That fact doesn’t erase all the ways Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has displayed herself as someone who will climb over whoever it takes to get where they want to be.
General Hospital spoiler reveal time is running out and Willow must decide if she is going to accept Nina’s help. Family or not these two women have not been able to see eye to eye before knowing that she was Willow’s mother Nina didn’t hesitate to choose Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) memory over Willow. Conveniently, now that Nina knows Willow is her daughter too, she suddenly all about making amends. Nina claims she wants nothing in return for donating her bone marrow tomorrow. However, Willow is reluctant to trust her.
General Hospital rumors suggest that Willow’s beliefs are strong when it comes to what’s best for her son. If being saved by Nina means giving Nina access to Wiley, her answer is no.
GH previews indicate Willow rejects Nina and refuses the transplant. Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) pays Willow a visit at the hospital when their discussion dives deep into Willows thoughts on Nina’s bone marrow donation. Sasha fears Willow is giving up and Michael feels Willow is standing in the way of her on survival. Can her friends and family talk her into excepting what Nina has to offer?
Willow refuses Nina’s bone marrow? Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) fights for her life in the battle against leukemia. It’s coming down to the wire as Willow’s chemotherapy is failing. Moreover, the bone marrow donor they thought was a match fell through.
General Hospital recaps recall months Carly finally revealed the truth after months of anticipation. After learning Willow has leukemia, she was under pressure to reveal Harmony’s secret. Ultimately, she had to do what she had to do. Now, Carly finds herself in the same position with Nina as she did before. In retrospect, Carly kept Nelle a secret from Nina just as she held on to the secret about Willow.
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Nina is Willow’s last chance at survival. Willow is known for putting her own health on the back burner for the sake of her baby. The fact that she hit her illness from Michael and their entire family may be an indication that Willow is willing to put her health aside for her pride. In the past, Willow admitted one of the reasons she didn’t want to tell the family about her diagnosis was because she didn’t want them treating her differently. Will her pride get in the way of letting Nina become her donor?
GH previews suggest there’s a possibility Willow refuses Nina’s bone marrow. After everything Nina has done to drive a wedge between herself and her grandson, Wiley, the last thing Willow wants is to be saved by that woman.
