It’s a good thing that Roger Howarth’s versatility is evident through in his performances. The roles he plays tend to change up like the wanderer trying to find themselves. Over the years Howard has played many different roles in daytime television. But his iconically known role is one soap fans will never forget. Undoubtedly, Roger’s portrayal of Todd Manning is one of the most recognized roles in the genre.
Furthermore, Howarth was brought on to play the iconic Franco after James Franco stepped away from the infamous role. Then, Roger’s portrayal of Franco’s unexpected demise shook the fans. Then lastly, Howarth returned yet again, this time as a mysterious a doctor from Pautuck, Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt. As it turns out, Austin is also a Quartermaine.

My how time flies! It’s coming up on 4 years since Amanda Setton joined General Hospital. She made her GH debut as Brook Lynn Quartermaine on November 18th, 2019. Setton has since built a large fan base as the new Brook Lynn.
Now, four years later and GH fans are rooting for this young woman. Amanda has undeniably made this role her own after taking over from Adrianne Leon. Many years are between Leon’s GH exit and Setton’s debut. Reportedly, Adrianne Leon told Soaps Opera Digest in August of 2019 that she’d be happy to reprise her role as Brook Lynn Quartermaine. However, GH cast Setton in the role just a few months later.

Amanda Setton Spills The Tea, Reveals New Brook Lynn Quartermaine
It’s an exciting time for Setton’s character, Brook Lynn, aka BLQ! The Quartermaine family dysfunction is at a high point, but it’s nothing unfamiliar. Instead, the Q’s embrace the chaos and dysfunction. It’s almost like they need it to survive. General Hospital spoilers indicate that Lois’s return plays a major role in BLQ’s life. Consequently, the effects extend to other family members as well. Changes are ahead, starting with Brook Lynn. Setton reflects on BLQ’s storyline when she and Maxie did whatever it took to protect baby Bailey Lou from Maxie’s crazy baby daddy, Peter August (Wes Ramsey). She admitted, “I think that whole maternal scheme transformed Brook Lynn and softened her and showed us a completely different side of her,”
It was BLQ and Maxie’s bond, along with the song and dance she’s doing with Chase that contributed to the start of something new. “She has that trust with Chase and doesn’t really have it with anyone else,” Setton said. “She can’t trust her grandmother. Her father is not who he says he is [Ned’s slip and fall accident conveniently turned him into Eddie Maine]. She’s been fired from her job.
“She’s sort of in this transition time,” she clarified, “but, you know, she’s still got her grandmother’s streak in her! She’s reformed, but she’s still Brook Lynn Quartermaine.”

What really happened after Elizabeth and Dr. Finn last saw him?
Meanwhile, Anna’s mystery terrorizer is on the loose and that raises concern. What ever happened to Peter when he was no longer in that freezer? How in the H E ???????? did he escape? Odds are, Peter didn’t climb out of the alone. Liz and Finn were positive that he was dead. But from the looks of things that’s probably not the case.
GH spoilers reveal that Anna’s on the right track. There’s no doubt that something going on with Charlotte Cassadine, but it’s hard to tell. She seems extra attached to Valentin lately. Furthermore, she’s behaving strangely with those tarot cards. Ultimately, Anna comes to terms with accepting that this is both personal and professional. There’s no doubt that what’s happening to Anna is on a personal level while carried out like a professional.
While it may look as though Charlotte is behind this, that could be what someone wants everyone to believe. Who better fits that narrative than Peter August!? What better way to get back at both Anna and Valentin? And using his daughter is the icing on the cake. Surely Peter fits the bill with his personal vendetta against Anna, and his experience working with professional criminals like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Oh, and the fact that his not-so-dead body just disappeared.
Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) blackmailing says are over. Well, at least where her granddaughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is concerned. Undoubtedly, BLQ is sick of being pushed around by Granny. Furthermore, she’s so over letting Tracy dictate her life. From her personal affairs (Chase), to her professional life, Tracy has controlled every aspect and Brook Lynn is done.
According to recent GH spoilers, she and Chase talk things over. After their conversation, both Chase and Maxie’s words resonate with BLQ. Before, she made ever excuse in the book for herself as she trampled over others to get what she wanted. Lies and schemes became her, and she lost Chase (Josh Swickard) more than once.

General Hospital recaps recall when Sam reached out to Maxie. She noticed her friend’s struggles and offered a solution. At first, Maxie wasn’t too sure that moving into Lulu’s old house would be the best idea. But then, Sam pointed out some important facts. She reassured Maxie that if anyone was going to occupy Dante and Lulu’s family home, Maxie is favored option. The fact that Maxie and Lulu are besties makes it more comforting than uncomfortable.
According to GH spoilers and rumors, Maxie settles into Lulu’s home with her kids. So far, things are going well despite the dark cloud hanging over Deception. And by dark cloud we mean Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot). Because of her bogus lawsuit, Maxie’s professional future hangs in the balance. Understandably, all this talk about Lulu has GH fans questioning what’s in store. Based on the latest GH rumors, Lulu wakes up! It doesn’t seem like Lulu would have an issue with her bestie and her children moving into the home that was once hers. However, there’s no telling what state she’ll be in upon awakening. Over at the courthouse, Lucy, Maxie, and even Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) stand by in disbelief while Tracy remains irritatingly confident. Poor Brook Lynn feels the weight of the guilt on her shoulders after Tracy blackmailed her into stealing evidence. As a result, everything Lucy has worked for could be gone. Not to mention, Maxie may not be CEO, but she has executive status. Therefore, the fate of this company will greatly impact its employees if it indeed goes bankrupt.
Erica Kane Saves Deception With Fusion-Deception Merger
The judge ruled that it’ll be 6 months before they even go to trial. In that time, Lucy fears she’ll lose her previous company. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and Deception’s fate is out of Lucy’s hands. According to GH rumors, Pine Valley entrepreneur and founder of Enchantment follows Jackson (Walt Willey) to Port Charles. Both having Boss Babe experience in the Erica and Lucy have a lot in common, as well as a lot to offer each other in the business world.
Erica’s past experiences with Enchantment spark an idea to save Deception. Back in the day, Erica’s company merged with her daughter Kendall’s start up, Fusion. In Lucy’s darkest hours, will she agree to a buyout? GH rumors hint that Erica Kane buys Deception in a merger with Fusion.
