Maxie went into labor but it hasn’t been the smoothest ride. The doctor informed Maxie that the umbilical cord is wrapped around the baby’s neck causing a drop in her heart rate.
If the baby’s heart continues to decelerate, they will have to seek other options in order to successfully deliver the baby. What does this mean for Maxie?

Luke is on the hunt for Jerry Jacks with the help of Laura and Holly. Dr. Obrecht may have pulled the wool over Holly’s eyes, but Laura knows that Jerry is very much alive. Luke needs a cure and they will stop at nothing to get their hands on it. Laura is onto Jerry. She knows he was hiding someone in that room and they are piecing together that Dr. Obrecht is in on it.
Luke and Laura have been called away from their quest to be there for what they think will be the birth of their grandchild. As Maxie went into labor today, Lulu called her Mother to let her know she would appreciate her support by being there. Luke and Laura made the decision to put Jerry on hold.
Holly is off on her own as of right now, looking for Dr. Obrecht and trying to save Robert Scorpio. Through her mission to save Robert, will she come across another one of Obretcht’s captives?
Anna is getting closer and closer to putting the pieces of the puzzle together. As she questions Britt, she cannot help but express that there is much more than weird coincidences going on here. Anna knows Dr. Obrecht, Cesar Faison, and even Britt have everything to do with what is happening to her family. Just wait until she finds out Faison is Britt’s Father!

In an etonline.com interview, Kirsten Storms and Jason Thompson talk about all the GH drama involving Maxie’s baby dilemma and the return of Robin Scorpio Drake.
Jason Thompson talks about Kimberly McCullough’s possible return and his hopes for being able to reconnect with the actress on screen.
Kirsten feels that this story will “play out terrible” for her character Maxie in regards to how the her loved ones will view her actions.

News was just released that the actress Kirsten Storms (Maxie Jones) has signed a contract with General Hospital for a few more years. General Hospital Blog is very excited to see Maxie stick around Port Charles. She has been a fan favorite for many years and the actress is a beautiful, talented, and definitely an essential part of the show. Port Charles would be a darker and gloomier place without the light hearted spunk and beauty of Maxie Jones. Congratulations Kirsten!
