At first, Rory made an impression on Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) at the PCPD. Then, as an officer at the PCPD Rory acquired the nickname ”Rookie Rory.” The new guy on the force was loved and welcome by all of his fellow officers and colleagues. Finally, Rory impressed Trina with his kindness, support, and generosity.

General Hospital recaps recall Rory and Trina hit it off right away. Trina was seemingly in awe of Rory’s physical appearance when they met for the first time. Rory was into Trina from the start, although, working for the PCPD while Trina was on trial caused hesitation. Trina had her ongoing debate about which suitor she should choose. Trina had the pick of two young men who both adored and supported her. One had a squeaky clean rep and the other had been making a reputation for himself with the authorities. He wanted Trina to meet his family on Christmas Eve and confessed his love for her at three months together. In addition, Rory purposely sat in on a conversation between Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). He got the inside scoop about Jordan and Dante’s plans to stop the hook killer.

Something that doesn’t sit well with fans is why Rory took it upon himself to show up at the apartment without telling anyone or having backup? Then, Dante shows up to find Rory stabbed, but no one actually saw what happened. Just like in the 1996 movie Scream, it seems almost like this was all part of a sinister plan gone horribly wrong.

What if Rory was never one of PCPD’s own?

The hook killer storyline has thrown fans for loop after loop. As a result, prime suspects have changed over multiple times, starting with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). But when the next person fell victim to the hook, Nikolas had an air tight alibi. Elizabeth was also thought to be the killer at one point. Her whereabouts were unaccounted for when she blacked out the night of Ava’s attack. The story moved along, and by the time Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) was attacked by the hook, she was able to identify her attacker as a woman.
