The wait is over! General Hospital fans are rejoicing after learning that it has been confirmed GH cast and crew have gone back to work as of Wednesday, July 22nd.
In a previous article, General Hospital Blog featured a video post by GH actor, Joe Flanigan. Flanigan plays Dr. Neil Byrne on the popular daytime drama. How Flanigan posted an Insta story showing himself driving, talking about being pumped that he was headed back to work.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal a list of new General Hospital spoilers for the week of August 3rd.
From Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and the entire Corinthos family, to Sam (Kelly Monaco), Jason (Steve Burton), Nelle (Chloe Lanier), Curtis and Jordan Ashford (Donnell Turner and Briana Nicole Henry), and the rest of the residents of Port Charles, get ready for the excitement to begin again as we prepare to keep GH fans in the loop with the latest spoilers for the first time in four months!
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) is a newly single young woman with a promising career ahead. Sasha is a model and works for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) as the newest ‘Face of Deception’ to represent this classic company established in the 1990s.
Sasha is headed down a dark path after seeing the pressure of the demanding life of a model and the stress of ending her relationship with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). She and Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) made a tough decision to fake an affair in order to push along Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael in their quest to gain custody of Wiley.
General Hospital spoilers reveal things will get a Hell of a lot worse for Sasha before they ever begin to get better. She was offered drugs as a way to get her through her modeling shoots for Deception. Michael is preoccupied with challenging Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and her new husband, Julian Jerome (William DeVry), in the courtroom as they go about their custody battle. Although Sasha’s selfless act is for the greater good, her decision will ultimately serve as a form of self destruction for the young model. She is going to need someone in her corner as this downward spiral progresses.
General Hospital rumors claim she will deny needing help before hitting rock bottom. But who will notice her struggles?
There are many people around Sasha that will care about her well being- possibly even a co-worker. Perhaps Lucy will take Sasha under her wing and guide her out of the darkness a drug habit will create. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has been a loyal and caring friend to Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) as well as Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco), displaying her caring heart. Maxie May notice something is off with Sasha and try to figure out how to help. Chase has always been a loyal friend and since he and Sasha made the decision to fake the affair, it’s likely he could be the one to take notice and come to Sasha’s rescue.
According to General Hospital spoilers, it looks like there will be a long road ahead for Sash’s character as she struggles through the trials of love lost and her demanding career.
Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) has become much more than a pest to those who live in Port Charles. Over the course of the time this young woman has been living in town, the residents have been able to see Nelle’s true colors after being fooled for so long.
Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman) saw through Nelle almost immediately as Nelle was pulling the wool over Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) eyes. Carly was blinded by Nelle saving her daughter, Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) life with her kidney. Nelle has managed to infiltrate her way into the Corinthos family first through Joss and Carly, then Carly’s son Michael (Chad Duell), and husband, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She has reeked havoc on all their lives, becoming a psychopathic villain.
Other than Carly’s stepfather, Frank Benson, Nelle’s true lineage remains unknown. General Hospital spoilers indicate we will be finding more and more about Nelle’s biological makeup, which would include close relatives like biological parents and possible siblings.
Recent General Hospital rumors bring up two villains that could be potential biological parents of Nelle. Sonny’s current threat, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is cut throat and shows no mercy. He is willing to go to great lengths to ruin Sonny which seems very familiar to what Nelle is capable of.
Nelle exhibits similar behavior to a prominent female mobster from Port Charles history. Faith Rosco (Cynthia Preston) was a dangerous psychopath who went after Sonny Corinthos and his family. Very similar to Nelle, these two women seem to have a lot in common. Like Faith, Nelle isn’t afraid of Sonny and his family. She didn’t hesitate to manipulate Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) by using her daughter Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) as leverage. Nelle is Joss’s kidney donor, and with that, Nelle was able to gain Carly’s trust from the get go, however, Bobbie Spencer (Jackie Zeman) saw right through Nelle from the beginning. Nelle then worked her way into Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) good graces, manipulating bane seducing him. She then somehow managed to intertwine herself into Sonny’s life, driving a wedge between him and Carly.
General Hospital rumors hint that Nelle’s background will be explored more deeply, revealing connections to Port Charles history. General Hospital rumors and spoilers suggest that Nelle could be the daughter of Cyrus Renault and Faith Rosco, which would explain her hated for the Corinthos family and her similar ways to her potential mom, Faith. These three would make a nice little family unit, and a huge threat to Sonny and his family.
Is it possible that Nelle is their daughter? Will Cynthia Preston return to reprise her role as the female mobster, Faith Rosco?
General Hospital spoilers revealed there will be an upcoming surprise pregnancy. The obvious ladies include Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos), due to her sticky situation with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow). Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) and Nelle Benson are also suspect it’s having an unplanned pregnancy now that they are both abruptly married. General Hospital spoilers indicate there is yet another young woman that could be pregnant. Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) has been in a serious relationship for a good length of time with Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Maxie still remains blind to who Peter really is. Maxie is feeling nauseated and light headed, which are surefire soap opera signs of pregnancy- and nobody saw this coming. A baby for Peter and Maxie would be detrimental. Poor Maxie, she would be having a baby with Peter just to eventually find out he is a fraud, a criminal, a huge disappointment, and actually dangerous. So much for hoping that Maxie and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will soon see the light about Peter and Maxie being able to make a clean break from him. A baby for Maxie and Peter isn’t only something no one saw coming. For the most part, this is something no one wants. As a GH fan, are you happy with Maxie having a baby with Peter?
Julian Jerome (William DeVry) has been forced against his will to marry the town psychopath, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Nelle blackmailed Julian into marrying her, because somehow in her warped mind, she believes being married to Julian will boost her chances of winning custody of Wiley over her ex, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and his new wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). However, that psychopath just so happens to be trying to take away the grandchild of mobster, a personal enemy to Julian, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard). General Hospital spoilers reveal Julian struck a nerve with Sonny by marrying Nelle, and Sonny won’t just let this slide. In General Hospital previews for the upcoming episode, Sonny is shown talking to Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Julian in the courtroom. Sonny says, “You need to do what needs to be done.” This definitely sounds like an order. But to whom? Is Sonny warning Jason to take care of the problem (Julian), or is Sonny ordering Julian to put a stop to this madness with Nelle?
Nelle Benson, played by the very talented, Chloe Lanier, is one of those characters we either love or hate. Nelle isn’t a rake it or leave it kind of personality. Do you find yourself loving Nelle as a characterr we? Do you root for her like one would an underdog? Some can’t even stand the second this character enters a scene, and others love the way this character makes some fans love to hate her. Which do you fall under? Please take a second to VOTE in the latest GH Blog Poll.
Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was being a selfish and noble human being when she sacrificed her relationship with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) so that he had a better chance of winning custody if his son, Wiley. Sasha’s ex-boyfriend, Michael and his new wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) have a vested interest in Wiley’s well being and will do and have done anything and everything to make sure Wiley is safe from his biological mother, Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier). Sasha is having a difficult time dealing with the ramifications of her and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) plan to push Michael and Willow closer, to marry, for the sake of Wiley. Sasha is trying to juggle her career while going through such heartache. She’s vulnerable and gave in to that when she was offered drugs from an assistant at Deception. General Hospital spoilers reveal that Sasha’s drug use wasn’t just a one time thing. General Hospital news and spoilers hint Sasha will fall into a downward spiral. General Hospital rumors claim Sasha will get tangled up in drugs which ultimately means getting involved with known drug trafficker, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Does Renault traffic more than drugs? Exactly what type of danger lies ahead for Sasha?
Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) put on quite a show when she stumbled into the courtroom, late for her own custody hearing, in a wedding dress, flashing her ring.
Nelle overheard that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) were tying the knot before the big court appearance. Nelle’s psycho instincts kicked in and she knew right then and there that she had to do something, and it had to be BIG.
General Hospital spoilers previously revealed that Nelle has been trying to work Julian Jerome (William DeVry) into helping her by testifying on her behalf. Of course, like most everyone else in Port Charles, he turned her down flat. Rejection doesn’t stop Nelle. The universe seems to place things she can use for her advantage right in her path. GH spoilers revealed Nelle would overhear a private conversation regarding Julian’s involvement in Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) and Lucas Jones’ (Ryan Carnes) crash which left Lucas in a coma for months.
General Hospital rumors hint that Julian is the poor soul who got blackmailed into marrying Nelle for her little performance in court. It makes total sense that Julian would want to keep his deep dark secret buried, thus agreeing to Nelle’s terms for her silence.
However, other GH rumors have been swirling that claim Julian is not Nelle’s groom. Brad Cooper is serving time in Pentonville for the kidnapping of Wiley. Nelle has been trying to convince anyone who will listen that she was coerced by Brad and he orchestrated the entire thing. Since Brad was Wiley’s sole father figure during the first year, and then some, GH rumors claim Nelle got Brad to marry her by offering him a place in his life has his father figure just as before. Nelle shouldn’t be underestimated, there are no bounds to what she is capable of.
Other General Hospital rumors claim Nelle will pull a shocking stunt and reveal she is married to Port Charles villain, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Since Nelle doesn’t think dithered than the here and now, she could see Renault as a source of power and leverage. Perhaps she became Mrs. Renault so she and her new hubby can take over the entire city?!
Nelle definitely has something big to reveal this week on General Hospital. Of these men or any others, who do you think Nelle married?
Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is a lying, scamming, criminal, crazy person who is somehow able to get her way one way or another. Nelle has a way with manipulating people. Whether she lies and gains their trust, or flat out blackmails the other party, either way, Nelle gets her way. Why would it be different this time? Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) are doing everything in their power to try and secure a win for Michael, in the fight for his son, Wiley. No matter what Michael and his family do to prepare and have one up on Nelle, she always seems to catch on and outdo what has been done. She’s really done it this time- or so she thinks she has. Nelle has gone and gotten herself a husband. Married Nelle feels more secure in her place to fight for her son. But who did Nelle marry? General Hospital spoilers reveal Nelle married someone after learning of Michael and Willow’s plans. Is Julian Jerome (William DeVry) the new Mr. Nelle Benson?! Despite the Corinthos family’s efforts, General Hospital rumors claim that Nelle Benson will prevail in court. Nelle has manipulated practically the entire city of Port Charles at this point and it doesn’t look like she has any intention of quitting. Nelle works for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), allowing much time to get into Nina’s, convince Nina that her lies are the truth, makes her think she is a loving and deserving mother, all to weaken Nina so that she testifies on Nelle’s behalf. General Hospital rumors hint Nina will see Nelle struggling in court and this will pull at Ninas heart strings, making Nina feel compelled to step in. Nelle also has a fantastic lawyer, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight). Don’t underestimate Nelle Benson when she is positioned to fight for what she wants. Nelle has a personal mission to destroy her son’s grandmother, Carly Corinthos. She knows all about Carly’s past, her weaknesses, her mistakes, and what makes her vulnerable. GH spoilers suggest Nelle will use all of this, along with being Wiley’s biological mother, to her advantage in the courtroom. Is the likelihood of Michael winning custody greater because he married Willow? Is Nelle a shoe in because she’s a mother? Or will the courts see right through Nelle’s scheme?
Carly Corinthos’ main mission in life is keeping her children safe and happy. She will do anything for her kids and right now her son Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is hurting. Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) is the woman this time who has hurt her son, and it’s beyond any normal heartache. Nelle is a dangerous psychopath who should not be wandering around free let alone have custody of a child. Nelle is fighting Michael for custody of their son, Wiley.
Michael may be up for a challenging fight for Wiley but he isn’t doing it alone. General Hospital previews for this week show Michael surrounded by close family and friends in support of his case against Nelle. Nelle has turned everyone in town against her simply by being herself. The only person that could possibly have her back would be one who is being blackmailed or forced in some way. Michael on the other hand has the support of many, including his good friend, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
General Hospital spoilers reveal Mama Bear Carly approves of Willow Tait and admires her courage to marry a man she isn’t in love with in order to help him and the child they love. Carly sees Willow’s immense support as admirable, which is hard to achieve from Carly.
Could Michael have finally found the right women for him even though he doesn’t know it yet?
