Avery Pohl’s family recreates Esme’s Christmas Tree! Christmas time on ABC’s General Hospital is always a special event. Storylines tend to come together and the characters display their warm and fuzzy side.

Family togetherness is never overlooked around the holidays. In addition, even the naughty reveal their nice side. Kind gestures can overshadow wrongdoing, and those who despise each other can find common ground. As Taylor Swift says in her original song Christmas Tree Farm, “Sweet dreams of holly and ribbon, mistakes are forgiven…” mistakes may be forgiven or at least overlooked in Port Charles. Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is holding Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) as his prisoner at Wyndemere. He justified his actions when he believed Esme was the hook killer. However, we all know he was hiding her to avoid being questioned about the incident on the parapet. Esme’s pregnancy is another major reason Nik is keeping his baby mama captive. She claims the child is his therefore, he wants to make sure the baby is safe.

Regardless his reasons, keeping a pregnant woman captive will get anyone on the naughty list. Even if the young woman has destroyed the lives of those around her from the inside out.

Christmas brings Esme and Nikolas closer

General Hospital recaps recall Esme’s Christmas wish to Nikolas stemmed from her broken childhood. She tried convincing Nikolas to let her chop down a christmas tree so that she could relive that one special tome in her life when that became a reality. Although Nikolas wasn’t convinced to do exactly that, he did bring Esme a Christmas tree to decorate. Esme and Nikolas shared a warm moment as they decorated the tree he had given her.

General Hospital news and spoilers reveal that tree holds significance to Esme as well as her portrayer Avery. In a recent Instagram story, Avery Kristen Pohl shares a heartwarming gesture which carried over from her role on GH. Pohl reveals that her family recreated Esme’s Christmas tree this year. Avery stands proudly next to her real life tree in her IG story.

Avery has been an incredible addition to the General Hospital cast. She’s so good at being bad that we love to hate her! GH rumors hint there may be a bit of redemption ahead for Esme. Hopefully, her motherly instincts toward baby “Ace” bring out a new side to Esme. After all, she is being wrongfully accused of being a serial killer with a hook! When everyone finds out it’s not Esme, will they cut her some slack?

General Hospital recaps: Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) is convinced that if he lures Esme out of hiding, the PCPD can arrest her and the hook killings will stop. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) thought his plan to be too dangerous. But with some convincing and strategizing, she and Spencer came to an agreement. Trina wanted to be part of the plan.

Previously, General Hospital spoilers revealed Esme is not the hook at all. The PCPD and those skeptical of the college student from Hell are barking up the wrong tree. However, General Hospital previews indicate a manhunt for Esme Prince leads to Nikolas. GH rumors speculate the manhunt for Esme will ultimately lead straight to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). He can’t possibly hide her forever up in an Wyndemere tower. Due to recent GH news regarding Marcus Coloma’s General Hospital exit, odds are Nikolas’s days of holding Esme prisoner are about to be over- and so is Nikolas! Once he’a caught, every single person he loves will inevitably turn against him for good. After all that’s said and done, will Esme be the one that does him in?

As the original actor to play Nikolas, GH fans associate Tyler with the role the most.

Following Tyler’s announcement on social media, we conducted a GH poll asking fans if they’d want Tyler to return as Nikolas. General Hospital news and spoilers reveal over 1K fans voted to voice their opinion. Results show that 80% of fans voted they’d like to see Tyler to play Nikolas. While 11% said it’s not necessary for Tyler to step in, 10% said they’d like to see him only as a temporary recast. To sum things up, majority of fans voted Tyler Christopher as the preferred actor to portray Nikolas Cassadine.

After finding out Esme was tucked safely away at Wyndemere when the hook killer struck again, Elizabeth questions what this is all for. Is Marcus Coloma leaving GH? The role of Nikolas Cassadine remains an ever-popular character. As the main focus of an iconic family in Port Charles, there’s always drama surrounding Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

General Hospital news and spoilers confirm the role of Nikolas Cassadine was originated by Emmy winner Tyler Christopher in 1996. Christopher gave Nikolas Cassadine his iconic “dark Prince” personal, leaving big shoes to fill upon his exit from General Hospital. He left the daytime drama in 1999 and the role was recast with Coltin Scott until 2003. Later that year, Tyler Christopher pleasantly surprised fans when he made his return debut in April of 2003. His second run as Nikolas Cassadine outran his first, lasting from 2003-2011. Tyler was let go from the role but then later reprised the iconic character for General Hospital’s fiftieth anniversary in 2013. He remained in the role until 2016 when Nikolas faked his own death.

Is Marcus Coloma leaving GH?

Fast forward about three years and General Hospital fans were shocked to learn Nikolas wasn’t really dead. Nikolas returned in 2019 however, fans were presented with a recast for the well-known role.  

Marcus Coloma took over as Nikolas Cassadine and was immediately faced with challenging storylines. According to recent General Hospital comings and goings news confirms actor Adam Huss has stepped into Coloma’s shoes while he’s away. General Hospital spoilers indicate the change in casting is only temporary, however, the reason remains unknown.

The recent Nikolas Cassadine recast Adam Huss, took over as The Dark Prince briefly in September of 2021. GH fans recognized the familiar face as he once again fills in for Coloma.

Eagle eyed fans noticed a change ib a recent Instagram caption shared by General Hospital spoilers Adam Huss took to Instagram to share a headshot photo that now reads, “#actorslife photo cred @lordylorch” in the caption.

GH rumors claim there has been a conspiracy involving actor Adam Huss’ recent IG post. GH speculations claim the actor possibly let the cat out of the bag prematurely. As a result, his IG caption has been exited.

GH spoilers and rumors suggest Adam edited his caption after divulging too much information. According to Soaps.sheknows.com, Huss’ original caption read, ”Back at it…#actorslife.” That caption now simply says the latter along with a photo cred shout out. The post was shared hours before Monday’s episode of General Hospital aired.

Did Adam say too much too soon and end up changing his original caption? Some fans think so. Pointing out the fact that Marcus Coloma made no mention of the recast, fans began to speculate. Perhaps Huss wasn’t at liberty to say, therefore, possibly having to correct his overshare.
