Does Nina Have a Conscience?

As Nina sits at Rafe’s bedside, she thanks him for being able to keep her secret. With the death of she and Silas’ nephew Rafe, the truth about what Nina is up to will die with him. Since Rafe saw Nina able to walk, and overheard her telling Rosalie she wants to take down Silas and Sam, Nina’s optimal situation would be if Rafe died. After she tells a brain dead Rafe that she will give him a big funeral with all the trimmings, he suddenly grabs her hands and opens his eyes. Friday afternoon fans were ecstatic at the fact that Rafe may actually live. Not only is Rafe a great character, Jimmy Deshler a fantastic young actor, but the story line would be that much sweeter. That would have been an unexpected twist if Rafe were to stick it to Nina and actually live. However, the closer and closer it gets to the follow up episode, it looks as though Nina’s mind was just playing tricks on her. In a headline from ABC’s General Hospital itself, it says, “Nina’s conscience gets to her. Will she come clean with Silas.” That seems to be an indication right there that Rafe isn’t really awake, but the idea of what happened to him is haunting Nina. The next question is, will Nina come clean and tell Silas about her involvement in all of this? My guess is no way. She may have a split second of a guilty conscience for what she has done, but it will doubtfully be enough for her to come forward. She plans on destroying Silas in any way she can and up next she will make her move to break up Silas and Sam.

Oh how we wish Rafe was actually awake. To be sure, don’t forget to watch GH today at 2PM Eastern! Share this post if you wish Rafe to live!

Rafe is Awake! What’s Next?

Cliffhanger Friday is an understatement when describing the shockingly dramatic ending of today’s episode of General Hospital. Rafe is supposed to be brain dead. Beating hurt, functioning organs, but a blood vessel burst while being operate on by Dr. Patrick Drake and everyone is now morning the loss of Rafe. Silas, his uncle is taking it extremely hard. Kiki, Rafe’s cousin, is saddened that she didn’t get to know him better, and Sam, his foster Mother is a heavy heart. Nina is Rafe’s aunt, has her own agenda. Nina is manipulating Silas once again. She is playing into his emotions, acting as a support system for what has happened to their nephew. She is throwing Sam under the bus any chance she can get to make her look bad. Nina is convincing Silas that Sam would rather support Patrick.

Talking to Rafe at his bedside, Nina thanks him for dying. She thanks him for not being able to tell Silas all the underhanded and awful things she is doing to get revenge on Silas and the other people who she feels wronged her in her life. “What’s bad for you is good for me. Rafe you’re helping me, you’re helping me drive a wedge between Silas and his trailer trash girlfriend.” As she was freakishly touching Rafe’s hand, he suddenly grabbed hers and opened his eyes!

Is Rafe really alive or is Nina seeing things? If Rafe is alive would Nina actually finish him off? Silas made it a point to tell Nina that Rafe’s condition is nothing like hers. That his nephew for all intents and purposes is dead and he will never wake up. Also, what about Alice? Perhaps all the hype about Alice getting Rafe’s heart was all to mislead fans into thinking Rafe is going to die just to shock us in today’s episode. If that’s the case, then goal accomplished! If you’re thinking Rafe woke up as a vampire, you’re not alone. Fans have been half halfheartedly been suggesting that Rafe will follow in the Port Charles footsteps and possibly become immortal like his father Stephen Clay.

If you hope Rafe is alive and Alice receives a heart from another donor, let us know by commenting and sharing this post!

The General Hospital and Y&R Saga

It seems as though the General Hospital fans cannot seem to put down the Steve Burton story. It should be simple, right? Steve Burton left his role as Jason Morgan after 21 years because he moved to Tennessee for his family. At this point, we all wish it was that simple. This has been an ongoing saga for months on end now. After leaving General Hospital, it was shockingly announced that Steve Burton was joining the cast of The Young and the Restless as Dylan. Fans were outraged and accused Steve of plotting this with friend Jill Farren Phelps over at Y&R all along. Burton has already made numerous attempts to convince the fans that was not the case but for some reason some of the fans just cannot let it go.Not only is Steve getting grief from his devoted General Hospital fans who have felt abandoned by their favorite daytime actor, he is also receiving some negativity from the Y&R fans. Y&R fans claim that ever since Burton arrived the show revolves around his character Dylan, fans calling it “The Dylan Show.”

In regard to the entire issue with GH and Y&R fans, Steve explained what actually is going on, he said, “Listen, without the fans we don’t have a show. I understand their frustrations and I know that they don’t necessarily like change. I guess maybe my coming to Y&R upsets people because they don’t really know the truth of what happened. What you and I both know — that GH didn’t make a deal with me. And that’s the whole truth. My contract was up and they didn’t want to play ball and make it work. At the time, I didn’t want to throw anyone under the bus over there but of course, as soon as it was announced I was going to Y&R, people thought the whole thing was planned by Jill from Day 1, which it was not. I vividly remember my manager telling me how ABC Business Affairs had called him to say, “Hey, is Steve going to Y&R now that Jill’s over there?” And my manager said, ‘No, he wants to make a deal with you! Quit dragging your feet. Make a deal.’ But they wouldn’t.”

You win some, you lose some, and you can’t please them all. There was more real life drama in the soap world when actress Michelle Stafford left her role as Phyllis on The Young and the Restless and joined General Hospital. Fans over at Y&R are missing their longtime fan favorite of Genoa City just as GH fans are missing Burton. With the arrival of Nina Clay, Silas’ wife in Port Charles, Michelle Stafford hasn’t exactly gotten a warm welcome from General Hospital fans. Maybe Steve Burton is right, and people just don’t like to accept change. But if things don’t “change” at some point, or if fans don’t cling onto that small hope that their favorite actor or actress will be coming back to the roles they are best known for, these stories about Steve Burton and Michelle Stafford just may never be put to rest.

As for now, Steve Burton is happy at Y&R and intends to stay there for the foreseeable future. Stafford is happily playing the role of Nina Clay on General Hospital and has no intention of leaving and reprising her role as Phyllis on The Young and the Restless. The role of Phyllis has already been recast and will now be played by soap vet Gina Tognoni. Rumors are still up in the air on the Jason Morgan recast. It is still rumored that Billy Miller will be playing Jason Morgan, but no new news about a signed contract has been confirmed by executives.

Executive Producer Frank Valentini Tells What’s in Store for Patrick Drake

We have been watching Jason Thompson play the role of Dr. Patrick Drake for 7 years now. Since 2007 we have been able to recognize and appreciate his abilities as an actor. It’s always great to hear what General Hospital co-workers and TPTB think of our favorite stars.

In a recent article from Michael Fairman, he explains that in an interview on the red carpet for the 41st annual Daytime Emmy Awards, Frank Valentini let him in on what Patrick Drake will be up to throughout this Summer. He gives kudos to Jason Thompson for his amazing portrayal of the talented, good looking, father of the year, Dr. Patrick Drake. Frank Valentini revealed, “A lot will happen with Patrick over the summer and into the Fall, and we also have Sabrina’s return.  Jason Thompson is a tremendous actor who is constantly refining and reworking his craft.  He’s always in class, and he is such a wonderful guy and amazing.”

Valentini also gave major props to other actors on General Hospital. He explain that when casting new actors, they do it very carefully in order to keep up with the incredible talent that already exists in Port Charles. He mentioned Maurice Benard (Sonny Corinthos), Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos Jacks), and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis). In response to a question asking about the casting of Maura West (Ava Jerome), Donna Mills (Madeline Reeves), and Michelle Stafford (Nina Clay), he stated, “We have a tremendous cast, and we choose everyone very carefully, because of the caliber of actors such as Maurice Benard (Sonny), Laura Wright (Carly,) and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis) … you’ve got to bring in some pretty big guns to compete with them.  You will see Donna Mills (Madeline) again this summer.”

Ava is on “The List” What Will Nina Do to Her?

Ava and Nina have a past connection. After all, Nina’s husband Dr. Silas Clay had an affair with Ava Jerome about 20 years ago. The two had a child together and now Nina is awake from her coma and she’s out for revenge. In front of Silas, Nina puts on her sweetie pie, ever-so-understanding, play the victim type of charade. But we all know what she is really like when her true colors come out in front of nurse Rosalie. Nina wants nothing more than for the people who have wronged her to go down in flames. SO much so that she created a “list” if you will. On that list is Silas, the cheating husband, Ava Jerome, the one he cheated with, her own Mother, Madeline Reeves, for harming her and her unborn child, and Sam, Silas’ mistress.

Social media has been swirling around the rumor that Ava will lose her baby. Right now, that baby is her 9 month insurance policy on her own life. Ava needs that baby in order to keep Sonny from killing her. She is unsure if the father of her baby is her boy toy lover Morgan, or his mob boss father Sonny. If Ava does lose her baby, will it be at the hands of sociopath Nina Clay? If so, what will she do to her?

General Hospital: The Ultimate Setup

What if? That is a question General Hospital fans are constantly asking themselves and other fans on a daily basis. Social media is filled with fans eager to get to the bottom of General Hospital’s newest daytime drama. Lucky for us there are many things going on at once, keeping those wheels turning.

When we take a look at the current story line involving Patrick and Sabrina’s car accident, there are many characters to evaluate in order to try and figure out who ran them off the road. So far there was Britt, who showed up right at that moment but was cleared of any suspicion, there is Levi, who we have yet to figure out a purpose for being in Port Charles, we also have troubled Rafe, and now we have Silas, whose car was named to be the car that caused the accident when Sam and Patrick pulled up the mechanic’s files. Since we know it’s most likely not Silas, perhaps Rafe borrowed his car, and caused the accident. That result would be pretty cut and dry and what we see is what we get. But… WHAT IF?

What if Nina set this entire thing in motion? What if her resentment for Silas runs so deep that she is crazy enough to set him up like this? Nina may have set up Silas, and Rafe may actually be blamed because of his recent drug use and poor decision making. In today’s episode of GH, Nina’s physical therapist made the observation that she isn’t too fond of her husband, Silas. Nina responded with a very sinister grin and replied, “You have no idea.” That being said, it leads us to believe that Nina has a lot more up her sleeve when it comes to tarnishing Silas’ image. Not only is she trying to ruin his relationship with Sam, it seems like she is trying to ruin his life in general.

Do you think Nina has set up Silas and Rafe will end up taking the fall? Comment below and let us know how you think this will all unravel.

We Know Who Caused the Accident!

Sam the Private Investigator and friend Patrick Drake are on the case to find the individual responsible for Sabrina and Patrick’s accident. As a result of the accident, Sabrona went into very premature labor and baby Gabriel passed away just shortly after he was born. Sabrina left Port Charles to be with her cousin Juan Santiago and family in Puerto Rico in order to deal with the grief of her loss. Patrick, a distraught Father, is sticking around PC and is determined to find the person who did this to his family.

Lately there has been a lot of speculation on who could have caused the accident. The writers have been making it look a lot like it was Rafe, and some fans thought that it was too obvious. Others suspected Nina, since she can walk and all, why not drive too? They also suspected Levi because well, no one is really sure what that creep is up to and doing in Port Charles.

But according to an article in Soap Opera Digest, it has been revealed that the person who caused the accident is in deed Rafe! The writers wanted to incorporate the story with the drug trafficing that has been going on with Fluke and the Jerome family. Head Writer Ron Carlivati commented on the drug use in Port Charles, he said, “With the influx of drugs in town, we thought that someone should be doing them, and Rafe drew the short straw.”

Nina the Walking Psycho

After today’s shocking outburst by Nina Clay, we are now aware that her sweet as pie persona really is fake and our gut feelings about her have been spot on. It seems as if Sam can see there is something off about her but Silas cannot. Isn’t that how it always works? The one who really needs to be watching out is the one who has the blindest eye. Not only is Nina playing Silas with her blessing for his and Sam’s relationship, but she also can walk, and well, she is CRAZY!

She has been hated by most since her debut in the park, crashing little Danny’s birthday party. The writers did something right, we hated her, and we were meant to. General Hospital Blog gives a big shout out to actress Michelle Stafford for doing such an amazing job with her new character. Goal accomplished. Stafford has succeeded in making the fans loathe Nina.

What is Nina up to exactly? Is all this to get back at Silas for cheating on her 20 years ago with Ava Jerome? Some speculate that Nina was never even in a coma, but a mental ward. Some say that because we saw her wake up, that she was indeed in a coma. But that could have been an awakening from a catatonic state or a number of other reasons.Others speculate that her Mother is in on this entire thing and it’s payback time for a cheating husband. Rumors have been flying that Nina knows more about Jason Morgan than she is leading on and that perhaps they were in the same facility. She sure is prying Silas and getting under his skin when it comes to Sam’s feelings for Jason.

We now know that Nina has been watching Silas for months and that she was in fact the one to trash his apartment, not her Mother, Madeline Reeves. What does she have in store for Silas and Sam, and for Ava?

Keep watching General Hospital to find out what happens next!

She’s Already Been Taping Scenes at GH! What Could This Mean for Ava?

This fan favorite has made a couple cameo appearances on General Hospital in the recent past. Ilene Kristen who plays Delia, Mother of Ava Jerome has been taping scenes for her next return to the canvas.

There is a lot going on with her daughter Ava. Ava is pregnant (supposedly) with either Mob Boss Sonny Corinthos’ child, or, his son Morgan’s child. It’s a twisted situation and things in Port Charles are about to get even more messed up.

There have been a lot of speculating going on when it comes to Ava and Nina. Some say that Nina’s child is indeed alive and Ava has never been pregnant before. Could Kiki really be Nina’s? Would Delia know anything about this? Fans have mentioned that they found it odd Ava was reading “What to Expect When You’re Expecting” and that Kiki looks a lot like Nina. Also the shocked look on Ava’s face when she saw that headlines that Nina was found alive.

Surely there will be a lot going on that will involve Ava, her Mother Delia, Nina, Silas, Madeline and much more! Keep watching General Hospital for Ilene’s upcoming scenes.

Donna Mills Headed Back to GH?

She blasted into Port Charles reeking havoc on the residents of Port Charles. Madeline Reeves, Mother-in-law of Silas clay, and sister of Liesl Obrecht turned the lives of her loved ones (or enemies) upside down. She came into town because she wanted Silas to sign over his rights to her daughters finances. Her daughter, Nina Clay was said to be in a 20 year coma. When Silas started to ask questions, Madeline told him that she had past away. Her son, Nathan West, (which we found out was actually her nephew, and son of Dr. Liesl Obrecht, sister of Dr. Britt Westbourne), also was lead to believe that his sister, now cousin, Nina had died.

Nina is far from dead. She is alive and out for her husband Silas. Since encountering her in the park, Silas and Sam have hit a speed bump in their relationship. Nina, Silas’ wife, whom he thought was dead, is now found to be alive, and is driving a wedge between him and his girlfriend, Sam.

Now that Nina is back, and already causing trouble, will her Mother be close behind? Surely Silas will have a lot to say to Madeline, as will Nathan. She made them believe Nina was dead, therefore it’s obvious she has something to hide. What could she be hiding? Fans have speculated that Nina’s child just might be alive. Who will it be? SOme say they have a feeling Kiki is not Ava’s and perhaps Madeline made a deal with Ava to raise Kiki as her own.

Rumors have been circulating that Donna Mills is already taping and is expected to make another appearance in Port Charles as Madeline Reeves very shortly.

Comment and share to let us know if you are looking forward to all the upcoming drama that is in store for Nina, Silas and Sam, Nathan, Britt, and the rest of the gang!
