Lisa LoCicero is an Italian-American actress from Grosse Pointe, Michigan. In 2008 she joined the cast of General Hospital as Olivia Falconeri.
Olivia is also an Italian-American woman, but the fictional character was born and raised in Bensonhurst. She goes way back with fellow Italian and best friend, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer). Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is a long-time family friend and grew up in Bensonhurst alongside Olivia and Lois. Today, Olivia’s sons Dante and Leo, along with Lois’s daughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine are this generation’s Port Charles Italians.
Carly catches Eddie Maine’s eye! Anyone who meets Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) can see that she is a strong, capable, and driven woman. Many are intimidated by her strength. But something about Carly stops Eddie Maine (Wally Kurth) in his tracks.

…Although new to Port Charles, Cody Bell is all too familiar with his childhood bestie’s mom. In fact, Cody and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) go way back. Those two troublemakers take it back to Bensonhurst, where they met and became childhood friends. But back then, Olivia was Mama Falconeri, not Mama Q., as Cody’s named her today.
According to General Hospital spoilers, Olivia continues worry as she watches Leo struggle with the circumstances. Her heart breaks for her son as he tries to make sense of why Eddie looks like his bad, but insists that he isn’t. Thankfully, Cody has been a great friend to Leo. The time spent together in the stables helped develop the bond bet Erb them. Now, Cody and Leo have each other’s backs. That’s why Cody’s offer was an easy decision on Cody’s part.

Past and present, Olivia gets a bad rap for her emotional reactions to life’s hiccups. But no one worries more than an Italian mother. Ok, maybe an Italian mother from Bensonhurst! Undoubtedly, family comes first and she’ll do anything to protect her loved ones.
Currently, Olivia is losing her mind over Ned Ashton’s (Wally Kurth) run-in with 90s nostalgia. While the one who suffers most is Ned’s adoptive son, Leo (Easton Rocket Sweda). According to GH history, Ned legally adopted Leo after his biological father, Julian Jerome (William deVry) died. Unfortunately, mob violence took Leo’s father’s life when he was just a baby. However unfortunate, Leo was too young to remember losing his father. Sadly, that’s not the case this time. Poor Leo is old enough now to be emotionally impacted by this loss. Although Ned is there in the flesh, Eddie Maine isn’t exactly father material.
According to General Hospital spoilers, parenting just got a lot more difficult for Olivia. Not only does she suddenly have the responsibility of a single mom, she has to watch her son grieve for a man who is right there. Further, she does this while grieving for Ned herself! Ned’s identity crisis affects the entire family, especially their son Leo. Understandably, he’s acting out because he’s struggling with Eddie Maine replacing his father.

Poor Leo doesn’t want Eddie Maine, he wants his father.
Nina takes Sonny and Ned?! …Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is on a roll. She’s been on a lucky streak lately, while taking Ws at every turn. In the wake of Nina’s recent victories, those around her have taken one L after another.

It’s been over two years since Nina found Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in Nixon Falls. By using their own words and twisting them for her own benefit, Nina’s manipulative behavior keeps yet another father away from his wife and family. We don’t know about y’all, but this gives major Corinthos family vibes. The damage Nina caused Sonny and his family is irrefutable. GH rumors hint that Nina takes Sonny and Ned! What’s done is done with Sonny. Sadly, Nina got him to fall in love with her. But that is soon to be over. If history repeats itself, then Nina is going for Olivia’s half of the Metro Court next.
Ned plays Nina at Sonny’s!?!?! Just when you think there’s no other way out for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) than the truth, she goes and jumps on the next opportunity to lie. It never fails that she gets herself into and out of her self inflicted dramas with her own lies. Simply put, Nina can’t stand watching others get what would have passed her by. But you know what they say, never say never.
Therefore, she’ll do anything to get what’s caught her eye, especially if she sees someone else giving whoever or whatever a second look. GH recaps remind us of how she stumbled upon a very married Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). She didn’t do what an empathetic and compassionate person would do. Instead, Nina lied, kept him from his wife and family, took advantage of his fragile state of mind, and so much more irreparable suffering. And let’s not forget that she got away with it.

First, she took advantage of Sonny, an amnesiac whose family thought he was dead. Now, she thinks she’s about to do that same thing (yet different) to Ned Ashton (Wally Kurth).
