Ava Jerome (Maura West) isn’t one to be underestimated. Especially when it comes to making moves under the radar. But how good is Ava at playing the damsel in distress?
General Hospital recaps recall Ava’s relationships with the people of Port Charles. Sure, she has some genuine connections, but Ava has a seedy past. As a member of the Jerome family, Ava was entangled in organized crime. She got out of the business and out of that life some years ago. However, her brother and sister were still very much in the business until their deaths.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors reveal that there’s suspicions about Olivia Jerome’s recent death. Although Julian Jerome (William deVry) died a couple of years ago, Olivia kept Jerome family relevant in the world of organized crime. But GH recaps recall that Olivia died this past February. She was in the middle of a prison transfer when she was killed.
Did Ava Have Olivia Jerome Killed?
Olivia’s killer remains unknown other than having mob ties. According to GH rumors, Ava isn’t so disconnected from organized crime as she has led on. In fact, she’s right up in Sonny’s business. Did Ava have a have in her own sister’s death? Perhaps Ava wants to be the one with control over organized crime in Port Charles?
Jagger Cates (Adam Harrington) wants to take charge of this high profile investigation in Port Charles. He’s gone out of his way to try to stop Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) from getting close to the case. In fact, he stonewalled them so hard that Anna had to find ways to get around Jagger’s orders.
General Hospital recaps highlight Cyrus Renault’s efforts to help Anna and Jordan. He was sent to Pentonville to preach the Lord’s good word, and to gain information regarding the investigation. Somehow, Anna convinced him that by helping her get answers, he could potentially help a lost soul to find God.
Still, Jagger is suspiciously unsettled about Anna and Jordan’s plan. One would think that he’d be happy that they took the initiative to get closer to the truth. Instead, he’s uneasy. So what’s Jagger hiding?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Jason Morgan is a big part of this entire operation. Jagger knows Jason back when he was a Quartermaine, so the history is definitely in place. While GH rumors run wild, fans speculate that Jagger is hiding Jason for one reason or another. If that’s the case then it’s likely that Jason isn’t there willingly.
According to General Hospital comings and goings reports, Evan Hofer is rumored to return as the danger intensifies in Port Charles. What better way to show loyalty to Sonny than to return to Port Charles with none other than Jason Morgan?
Olivia Jerome is Esme’s mom?! Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) relationship with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is about to take a drastic turn. Ava and Esme’s relationship is the perfect description of the term arch enemies. Rivals to say the least, these two woman would love to see the other dead.
General Hospital recaps recall Esme came to Port Charles with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and her own agenda. Lucky for Esme, Spencer’s plans fell in alignment with hers. Esme and Spencer were all about destroying Ava’s life. Esme was sent on a mission to come between Ava and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). She was to do whatever it took to get them apart. Her father Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) obsession with Esme’s boyfriend’s step mom served as the driving force for their mission.
The Jerome’s have been a prominent and powerful mon family in Port Charles since the late 1980’s. Ava, Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker), and their late, half brother Julian Jerome (William deVry) were known for their crimes and mob ties. Olivia had it out for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) because Anna had Duke Lavery’s (Ian Buchanan) heart. She has a long history of being the most dangerous and feared of the Jeromes. Olivia was killed in 2017 and resurfaced back in 2017. Olivia attempted to kill her brother Julian, however, her mission failed. As a result, the botched hit on Julian left her responsible for the car bomb that killed Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Consequently, Olivia was shipped off to D’Archam never to be heard from again- until now.
Aunt Ava to the Rescue
Fast forward five years and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) mentions Olivia is in Pentonville. General Hospital spoilers and rumors reveal Olivia returns amidst the events surrounding Esme and Ava, as well as Anna and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy). GH rumors speculate Olivia has a much bigger reason for return. Rumors claim as it turns out, Ryan’s obsession with Ava stems from his history with her sister Olivia. GH rumor has it Olivia Jerome is Esme’s mom, making Ava Esme’s Aunt! Ryan never tpld Esme her mother’s identity, therefore, the motherless young woman has no idea she is Ava’s niece. Perhaps if she knew she wouldn’t have been so willing to follow his father’s orders.
Olivia is clearly not mommy material and at this time, Esme needs a mother figure. GH spoilers and rumors hint Ava and Esme’s relationship takes a drastic turn. Eventually, Ava will take Esme in. There’s a hole in Ava’s heart where Kiki (Hayley Erin) used to be. Can Esme fill that void?
