General Hospital Spoilers, Rumors, News, & Updates
Tag: Patrick and Robin
Patrick and Robin are one of General Hospital’s most beloved couples. GH Fan’s gave Dr. Patrick Drake and Dr. Robin Scorpio a nickname. Reportedly, fans, referred to them as Scrubs.
Jason, Thompson and Kimberly McCullough portray Patrick and Robin. The medical professionals became parents in 2008 when Robin gave birth to their daughter Emma. Later, the two married doctors expanded their family and gave Emma a little brother. In 2017. Noah was born. His birth took place off screen because Robin, Patrick, Emma and Noah now live in California.
What a surprise! Real ones know exactly how to bring a friend out of a funk, even if it’s temporary. Thanks to Robert, Anna was reminded of all that she’s thankful for. So, is Emma Drake back in Port Charles temporarily to brighten Anna’s Thanksgiving, or is she here to stay?
There’s no doubt that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is a true friend. Even more than that he is loyal and authentic. He’s there for Anna in good times and in bad, and he’d never betray her trust. On the other hand, Valentin Cassadine claims to love Anna but doesn’t think twice about compromising her well-being to suit his needs.
General Hospital recaps highlight the recent events that lead to Anna’s less-than holiday spirit. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has been down in the dumps after she accidentally shot Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez). Since Anna’s melancholia set in, she planned to spend Thanksgiving alone. Well, Robert couldn’t bear to see the mother of his child sulk in the dark, alone. So instead he took action and did what he could to cheer her up. Now that’s a friend.
General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Emma Drake and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) return and get swept away by romance. However, GH news has yet to confirm any rumors that claim Lipton’s returns GH. Additionally, Brooklyn Silzer is back, but the question is how long.
GH spoilers and news reports reveal Brooklyn Silzer’s statement regarding her GH status. Recently, Silzer spoke with Soap Opera Digest regarding her GH return. “My mom told me I was jumping for joy,” She admitted. GH spoilers reveal that Brooklyn Silzer also disclosed the duration of her time at the Daytime Emmy winning drama. “I was so excited to be back and see everyone! I was there for two days, and I was so glad I got to spend a little extra time with some of my favorite people, like [on-screen grandparents] Finola [Hughes, Anna] and Tristan [Rogers, Robert].”
Sadly, it looks like the all grown up Emma Drake was only here to brighten her grandparent’s holiday.
Reportedly, the 17 year old has been applying to nursing school. “I’m pretty busy with school,” Silzer explained. “I’ve been applying for nursing school. That takes up most of my time. I’m taking pretty hard classes this year, but I’m hoping to stay local for college, maybe I can come visit General Hospital more often. That would be really cool.” It’s kind of an ironic career choice she and admits that her time on General Hospital “definitely inspired” her career path. She continued to divulge her reasoning, “ever since I started, I’ve known I wanted to be a nurse, I think since I was six years old. I always said, ‘I want to be a nurse when I grow up,’ and it just stayed with me, and I’ve become more inspired as I’ve been doing volunteer work throughout my high school years.”
General Hospital news and spoilers report that Silzer conformed that she’s all about visiting GH more often. It’s obvious that her experience as Robin and Patrick Scorpio-Drake’s daughter has been a positive light her life, along with her GH family.
Dr. Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) character has come a long way since she arrived on the scene as the most dreaded woman. What she had done to Robin Scorpio (Kimberly McCullough) as a way to get back at her mother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), was considerably unredeemable.
General Hospital recaps explain how Liesl had Robin captive while making it look as though she had died in a lab fire at GH. Robin’s mother Anna, her husband, Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson), and daugter Emma Drake (Brooklyn Silzer), along with Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and many other loved ones mourned her alleged death for years.
It’s safe to say that Dr. Obrecht has turned a new leaf. Although far from squeaky clean, Obrecht is now a contributing citizen as she works as a Doctor at GH, and has a loving bond with her daughter, Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), along with boyfriend Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner), Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), and more.
General Hospital news and spoilers reveal Gati joined the cast of General Hospital on July 31, 2012. General Hospital spoilers reveal she has shared a photo and related caption to her Instagram account, announcing her 10 year anniversary with the almost 60 year old soap opera.
In Kathleen’s Instagram caption below, she thanks Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, Mark Teschner, and all e cast and crew for, “ten years of love and kindness.”
We are so happy Kathleen has been a part of General Hospital for a decade, making Port Charles a lot more colorful. She is an amazing woman on and off screen! We at General Hospital Blog are proud to say, meeting Kathleen Gati was our absolute pleasure!
General Hospital Blog is happy to inform fans of the wonderful news. A couple months back, the Scorpio-Drake family left Port Charles for sunny California, leaving behind loved ones. Robin (Kimberly McCullough) and Patrick (Jason Thompson) took on new positions in a California hospital.
The good news is, Brooklyn Silzer will be returning to the GH canvas as Emma Drake during this year’s Spring Break. This news has been confirmed by ABC Soaps In Depth. GH Executive Produced, Frank Valentini tells SID, “Yes, we’ve already found an excuse to bring her back!”
Brooklyn’s return is temporary, however the episodes aired will be spread out through the entire month of April. It isn’t quite certain what Emma’s story will involve, however we are looking forward to her visit with her grandmother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
General Hospital spoilers have confirmed two very important pieces of GH casting news. First, we found out that Jason Thompson will be leaving his role on General Hospital, as the dashingly handsome doctor, and best TV Dad around, Dr. Patrick Drake. Shortly after that devastating news, fans learned that his TV (ex)wife, Kimberly McCullough, will be returning to General Hospital for November Sweeps.
With Jason Thompson on his way out and Kimberly McCullough’s on again off again status with General Hospital, it’s difficult to say what will happen with their TV daughter, Emma Drake, played by Brooklyn Silzer. When Patrick leaves, and if Robin doesn’t stay in Port Charles, will Emma be written out of the script? General Hospital rumors have been leaning toward claims that Brooklyn isn’t going anywhere, and that Emma will live with her Grandmother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
What are your thoughts? Do you think Emma will be able to stay in Port Charles even though her parents will have left town?
Yesterday evening, ABC TV Network Manager, Nathan Varni, played a little game with General Hospital fans. He announced on his Facebook page that soon, there would be a BIG announcement regarding GH. Varni’s post attracted immediate attention with fans as rumor mills started spinning.
Shortly after Nathan’s “announcement about an announcement,” he then posted a second message for fans on his Facebook page. It read, “The story continues this November on ABC.” Below his message was a picture of actress and GH fan favorite, Kimberly McCullough.
Robin Scorpio will be returning to Port Charles this coming November Sweeps. Her return to Port Charles doesn’t only bring excitement to fans, it also raises a few concerning questions. Will Robin stop Jake and Elizabeth’s wedding with what she knows about Jason Morgan? Knowing that Jason Thompson is leaving General Hospital, will Robin tell Patrick the whole truth as to why she has been away from him and Emma? The question that fans have been particularly concerned with involves Emma. Jason Thompson is leaving his role as Patrick Drake, and nothing has been confirmed or denied on whether or not Robin will be sticking around Port Chuck. If both parents are gone, will Emma be leaving also? There has been no word form GH Executives on Brooklyn Silzer’s upcoming status with the show. We have our fingers crossed that some way, some how, Emma will be able to remain in Port Charles- with or without her parents.
Hey fans! Get ready for one huge November Sweeps on General Hospital! General Hospital spoilers have just leaked that General Hospital fan favorite, Kimberly McCullough will be returning to the GH canvas coming this November Sweeps.
Ironically, news just broke that on screen husband, Jason Thompson will be leaving his role as Dr. Patrick Drake. The status of their TV daughter, Emma, played by Brooklyn Silzer remains unknown. At this point it remains uncertain if McCullough will return to GH long term, thus leaving the question of whether or not Brooklyn Silzer will be written out as Emma Drake.
Robin has a lot to do with the Jason Morgan story, and as Patrick and Sam plan their wedding, it’s inevitable that Robin will be making an entrance. It’s hard to say whether or not she will stop the wedding, or arrive just after Patrick and Sam say, ‘I do.’
Will Patrick, Robin, and Emma, leave Port Charles as a family, after Robin delivers the news that Jake is Jason? Let us know your thoughts on how this long anticipated story will unfold!
Patrick Drake and Sam Morgan have a long history of friendship. More recently, the two starting expressing romantic feelings for one another. Patrick and Sam kissed, and the Sam put her emotions back in check. She didn’t want to jeopardize the friendship she has with Patrick by taking their relationship to the next level. They remained close, and unexpectedly, Sam found out that Patrick had been hiding a HUGE secret. Sam was extremely hurt by the fact that Patrick kept the truth about Jason being alive from her. But all has been forgiven and the two have finally decided to look past their fears and try to be more than friends.
Patrick and Sam have plans to spend New Years Eve together which could lead to the start of something wonderful for them. Is the timing all wrong? General Hospital rumors insinuate that Patrick’s ex wife, Robin Scorpio Drake is on her way home. Unknowingly to Patrick, Robin is not actually living in France, she is being held by Helena Cassadine as part of her evil plan to control Jason Morgan. If the rumors are true, and Robin returns to Port Charles, will she stand in the way of Sam’s happiness?
Let us know what you think! Would you like to see Sam and Patrick happy together or should Sam and Jason be reunited? Do Robin and Patrick still have a chance?
This week on ABC’s General Hospital, your undying questions will finally be answered. Is Jason Morgan coming back? Who put Rafe up to causing the accident? Will Maxie really marry Levi?
If you choose not to read/view spoilers please don’t scroll any further. This article contains General Hospital spoilers and previews, along with a GH promo video.
Molly tells Silas that someone put Rafe up to causing Patrick and Sabrina’s accident, Nathan confronts Levi, Robin tells Patrick that Jason is waking up, and more!
Check out the promo video, posted by General Hospital.
General Hospital’s Kimberly McCullough, (Robin Scorpio Drake) has announced she will be exiting the show again after a short time back on the canvas. Robin has been on and off screen for 2 years since her supposed “death by explosion.” This Fall, Robin was found and reunited with her parents and loved ones. She and husband Patrick have reconnected despite his almost marriage to Sabrina. Emma got her Mother back, and soon, Robin will be gone… again.
In an interview, McCullough describes her departure as, “it’s not goodbye, just see you later.” She hopes to always be a part of General Hospital and mentions that it all depends on how much Frank Valentini liked working with her.
Scrubs fans will not be getting the happy ending they were so hoping for. Other than the fact that Jason Thompson (Patrick) is staying put, (THANK GOD), there will not be a happily every after for Dr. Patrick Drake, Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake, and their daughter Emma. When responding to the question of whether or not Scrubs fans will get closure, McCullough states, “I don’t even know if I can comment on that. They’re going to be pissed. Really. They’re going to be pissed. I’m sorry.”
This doesn’t look good for the devote Drake Family fans.
All in all we wish Kimberly McCullough the best of luck in all her endeavors and always want to keep the door open for a Robin Scorpio return.
What timing for Sabrina to end up pregnant… Patrick has just made his choice to go back to his wife he thought he had lost to an untimely death. The reunion was bittersweet as he saw her standing in the church as he was about to say his wedding vows to another woman.
It took Patrick some time, but he realized he knew he loved Robin all along and although he loves Sabrina, she would never have played such a huge role in he and Emma’s life if Robin had been around for the past 2 years.
Now that the Drakes are one big happy family again, Sabrina has discovered that she is pregnant. Knowing Sabrina, she most likely won’t bring it to Patrick’s attention… after all, that’s what Britt did to her.
That being said, now that we know they Sabrina is actually pregnant, do we believe the baby is Patrick’s? We can’t forget her wedding night when Robin came back from the dead. She ran to her ex lover, Carlos Rivera for comfort. Although it was said that the two did not sleep together, perhaps Carlos lied? Or maybe he was too drunk to remember also.
