General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Steps In To Protect Britt Whether She Likes It Or Not

Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) made it crystal clear that although she appreciates the warning about Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) and her own brother, Peter August (Wes Ramsey), she really doesn’t want or need Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to step in as her big, strong, protector. She prides herself on being tough and being able to hold her own. But Jason just can’t help it, it’s in his nature.

General Hospital spoilers and previews reveal a new threat to Britt, and Jason can’t sit back and let her become a target. He heard and respects what she told him, but at the same time, he has a lot of experience with dangerous people, and would only step in if he felt it was absolutely necessary.

Jason and Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) have split up due to her fear for their children being so closely connected to the mob life. Franco (then played by James Franco) terrorized the people of Port Charles, especially Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Now that Franco is faced with such a horrible diagnosis, he fears that he will revert back to that dangerous man who once inflicted so much pain on others.

Franco doesn’t want to become the man he once was and has asked Jason Morgan to kill him if ever he became a danger to his family and others. After seeing what Peter was looking up on her General Hospital laptop, Britt wants to get to the bottom of why Peter would want to get his hands on Franco Baldwin’s (Roger Howarth) medical records.

Britt has already come to terms with her actions from her past, and has vowed to be a better human being with the rest of her days on Earth.

She has already vowed to not become like her parents, but what she doesn’t know is that Peter is a shady, lying, creep, and a criminal himself. In today’s GH previews, Jason asks Britt, “Are you gonna see what you wanna see, or are you gonna see the truth?” Britt typically tends to resist when others try to give her advice, so it won’t be a total shock if she takes a hot minute to realize what Jason is trying to tell her. Things are beginning to unfold and sooner rather than later, everything will come crashing down on Peter. The more people who start to see what’s behind his fake front, the more likely Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will be convinced before the wedding. Once Britt sees Peter for who he is, she can then be able to trust her mom, Liesl, and realize that she has wrongfully blamed her for Peter’s crimes… and Jason just might be the person to point everything in the right direction.

Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) is set to marry Peter August (Wes Ramsey), the man she loves and the father of her unborn child. Right now, Maxie is still grieving for her best friend, Lulu Spencer Falconeri (Emme Rylan), missing her while her life is hanging in the balance.
